Announcer (00:01):
It's time now to get
the hell out of your life.
A weekly broadcast with realpeople, sharing real struggles,
and offering real hope.
Today's show will encourage, inspire, and empower you to face
life's challenges with a boldconfidence and renewed hope now.
Ron Meyers (00:22):
Hello, my friends.
It is so good to be with youtoday.
Happy holidays.
I hope everyone is enjoyingthemselves.
And those of you that perhapsare listening that have not had
a joyous Christmas, you don't goto church, you don't really
believe in Jesus, you've kind ofheard a story about him, but
(00:43):
you really don't understand thetrue gift, the present of Jesus
to the world.
So what I did today for a show,I created it just for you.
I assembled a lot of commentsand questions that I have
received over the last fewyears.
I put them into my AI programand let it come out with some
(01:08):
questions from individuals, realhurts, real questions, a lot of
curiosity about Jesus, and I'llanswer them according to
Scripture.
I think you'll find them veryencouraging.
Why I think this is importantis because for many years,
friends, I lived on the islandof misfit toys.
(01:30):
That's right.
I was sent to the island ofmisfit toys because I was weird.
I was different.
I had dreams.
I knew God had a plan for me,but nobody understood me.
So I had to develop arelationship with Jesus without
the benefits of church or wisecounsel because they always were
(01:52):
telling me something that I hadto do or clean up my act.
Well, I couldn't clean up myact.
I was a misfit toy.
I needed somebody to help meleave the island of misfit toys.
And one day I found Jesus.
And not only did I find outthat I wasn't a misfit toy, I
found out that Jesus doesn'tcreate misfit toys.
(02:15):
Each one of us is uniquelydesigned with specific talents,
skills, and abilities.
So today, my show, well, I'mgonna have some fun.
So why not grab a cup ofcoffee, maybe some eggnog, sit
around the fire, or if you're inyour vehicle listening, don't
get distracted.
Let's have some fun and hearabout who this baby Jesus is.
(02:39):
Why did he come to the world?
And what's a Christmas miraclethat you need?
Let's start with my first AIquestionnaire.
His name is AI Alex.
Alex (02:50):
I don't know what to
believe about Christmas.
You are asking me to think thatthis miracle baby was born for
me, really?
Ron Meyers (02:56):
Yes, really, Alex.
The story of Christmas, it istruly miraculous and deeply
meaningful.
Christmas is about God steppinginto human history in a way
that had never happened before.
Jesus, though he came as afragile baby, was God Himself in
the flesh, a miracle indeed.
(03:17):
This wasn't just about thebirth of a baby in a manger.
It's about God's extraordinarylove for you and all of
humanity.
Jesus came to reveal God'sheart, to show you what love
looks like, and mostimportantly, to rescue us by
providing a way for us to beunited with God forever.
(03:39):
Through his life, death, andresurrection, Jesus offers you
forgiveness and a whole newlife.
It's not just a story of ababy, but the beginning of God's
incredible plan to save usthrough his death and
resurrection.
This means that you are deeplyloved and he came specifically
(04:01):
to bring grace, forgiveness, anda forever relationship with
God.
Christmas is a beautifulreminder of how far God went to
be with us and to make us hisown.
It's more than tradition, it'smore than Christmas carols.
It showcases the heart of God'slove for you personally.
(04:25):
If that's not the best kind ofmiracle, I don't know what is.
Speaker 7 (04:30):
What's the big deal
about his love when I don't even
love myself?
Ron Meyers (04:34):
Alex, I get it.
I grew up that way.
I did not have a lot of lovefor myself, and it was never
reinforced by my parents.
But here's what we need tounderstand.
And it can be tough to wrap ourminds around God's love when we
struggle with loving ourselves.
But here is the most beautifultruth that you'll ever hear,
(04:55):
Alex.
God's love isn't based on yourfeelings or perceptions, it's
based on who he is and what he'sdone for you through his son
Jesus.
God's love for you, Alex, isconstant, unwavering, and
unconditional.
He doesn't love you because ofwhat you've done, but because of
who you are to him.
(05:16):
You are his beloved creation.
In Ephesians chapter 3, verses8 and 19, Paul prays that we may
grasp the enormity of God'slove, the width, the length,
height, and depth of it.
It surpasses all knowledge.
It's beyond comprehension.
(05:37):
But when you believe in Jesus, you are given a new identity as
a beloved and cherished child ofGod.
He loves you so much that hesent Jesus to remove every
barrier, every sin, and everyounce of shame or guilt.
Romans chapter 8, verses 38 and39 assures us that nothing, I
(06:01):
mean nothing, can separate usfrom his love.
So, Alex, learning to seeyourself through his eyes as
pure and loved and new is ajourney.
But know this (06:13):
his love is the
foundation, and from it you can
begin to learn what it means toalso love yourself as you are
designed, created in his image.
Alex, you're already enough andvalued beyond measure.
And his opinion of you isreally the only thing that
(06:36):
counts.
Alex (06:37):
I drink, I cuss, I chase
women, and I like to party.
So I am sure God wants to whapthe crap out of me.
Ron Meyers (06:44):
Well, Alex, it might
feel like God's ready to whap
the crap out of you, but let metell you the truth.
The truth is quite theopposite.
God isn't about punishment forbelievers.
His focus is entirely on loveand patience.
Jesus already took anypunishment we might deserve
(07:07):
completely and fully on thecross.
You can read about this inRomans chapter 8, 1 through 4.
This means that God's not inthe business of smacking you or
me into submission.
God's kindness is what leads usto turn around and embrace him,
(07:28):
not out of fear of punishment.
He desires what is truly bestfor you.
And his way of showing this isnot through force, but through
grace.
When you recognize, Alex, howprofoundly loved you are by him
right here, right now, exactlyas you are, it opens up so much
(07:53):
freedom to truly live in thepurpose God created you to live
in.
This understanding of gracedoesn't mean there's no call to
change.
Instead, his spirit beginsworking inside of you, Alex,
shaping your desires and leadingyou to true fulfillment.
(08:14):
Beyond the parties and thetemporary highs, and in Titus
chapter 2, verse 11 and 12, wesee that God's grace teaches us
to live self-controlled, uprightlives, but it's always with his
nurturing guidance, never athreat.
Now let's take a question fromA.I.
(08:36):
Betty.
betty (08:37):
I often pray for change
and attend church at Christmas,
but nothing seems to happen.
Jesus feels distant and seemsunaware of me.
Ron Meyers (08:46):
Oh, Betty, I can
give you an amen to that.
I've been there and done that.
But let me tell you what I havediscovered: that those feelings
of distance or stagnations canbe tough, especially when you're
hoping for change.
But here is the beautifulthing: Jesus is never distant
(09:06):
from you.
If you've put your trust inhim, he's with you every moment
because he lives in you.
The feeling of distance oftencomes from our expectations or
emotions rather than reality.
The truth is, Betty, your unionwith Christ is unbreakable.
Hebrews chapter 13, verse 5confirms this.
(09:29):
God isn't looking at yourchurch attendance or your
attempts to change as ameasurement.
He's deeply invested in arelationship with you based on
grace, not your works or youractions.
When it feels like nothing ishappening, it might be a time
for letting go of striving andresting in what Jesus has
(09:53):
already done for you.
Change is often internal and aprocess.
Colossians chapter 2, verse 6and 7 reminds us to walk in him,
rooted and established infaith, already complete in him.
This doesn't mean sitting backand waiting for magic.
(10:14):
It's about trusting in hiswork, in his timing.
God has a plan.
Growth is about renewing yourmind through truth, resting in
his love and recognizing thatyou're enough just as you are.
This is a process you're goingthrough, Betty.
And sometimes we're so focusedon changing ourselves that we
(10:37):
miss the adventure ofdiscovering who we are in
Christ.
We are perfectly loved andaccepted.
Here's a comment from AI Bob.
Bob (10:49):
But God seems to bless the
holy rollers and Bible-touting
Christians who have their acttogether.
I know because many of themremind me to wake up and smell
the Holy Spirit.
Ron Meyers (10:59):
You got that right,
Bob.
Sometimes people come across ashaving it all together or as if
they're experiencing moreblessings because they appear
more holy.
But here's the steadfast truth:
God doesn't play favorites (11:10):
undefined
based on our outward actions orapparent togetherness.
His love and blessings aren'thanded out based on performance
or showiness.
Remember the story of theprodigal son?
It wasn't the seeminglytogether son that celebrated,
(11:32):
but the one who returned tounconditional love.
Luke chapter 15, verses 11through 32.
God sees your heart and heknows your journey.
His spirit isn't directed byexternal measures, but by the
genuine truth of his bond withyou.
The Holy Spirit is in everybeliever, fully, not parceled
(11:55):
out, more to some and less toothers.
You're complete in Christ, Bob,lacking nothing.
See Colossians chapter 2, verse10.
While others might seem to haveit all together, remember that
your walk with God is unique anddeeply personal.
Don't measure your walk by thewalk of others.
(12:17):
Embrace the truth.
Don't get rattled bycomparisons, and embrace the
fact that you've got everythingyou need for a full and godly
life.
2 Peter chapter 1, verse 3clarifies this.
Bob (12:32):
I hear a guy on the radio
telling me to have daily
conversations and coffee withJesus and to be honest and open,
sharing the good, the bad, andthe ugly.
I have been doing that, and Ihave found peace and greater
understanding about my destiny.
Is that because of Jesus orjust good coffee?
Ron Meyers (12:51):
All right, Bob, it
sounds like you're starting to
wake up and smell the HolySpirit.
While a great cup of coffee canundoubtedly lift the mood, the
profound peace and understandingyou're experiencing comes from
your relationship with Jesus andthe work of the Spirit in you.
You see, when you open up andcommunicate honestly with God,
(13:14):
you're engaging what's already aclose and personal
relationship.
Jesus is always with youbecause he lives in you and he
is attentive and he delights inyour conversations.
He's the source of every goodthing you're experiencing.
Philippians chapter 4, verse 7.
(13:36):
That peace that surpasses allhuman understanding comes from
him.
2 Corinthians chapter 13 verse5 mentions testing to see if
Christ is indeed in you.
And what you are experiencingis his presence, affirming his
love and truth in your heart.
(13:57):
These are not just random andgood feelings.
They're the fruit of God'sSpirit connecting deeply with
your spirit.
Continue in theseconversations.
It will allow you to see thelife more from God's
perspective, which naturallybrings clarity about your
(14:17):
journey and destiny.
It's just not soothing words,it's the assurance of an
unshakable bond with Jesus whoworks in you to will and to act
in order to fulfill his goodpurpose.
So, Bob, keep thoseconversations going.
Bob (14:37):
So are you telling me that
little old me with all my
problems, insecurities, and wildlifestyle, that baby Jesus was
born for me?
Ron Meyers (14:46):
Yes, Bob, and now
you're getting the picture.
You've got it.
That little baby Jesus cameinto the world for you, just as
you are, with everything thatmakes you uniquely you.
It's because he loves youdeeply right here and now.
And now he wants you to getwild and party about the Son of
(15:07):
Man, the Son of God, JesusChrist.
And the birth of Jesus reflectsthe profound love God has for
each one of us.
He chose to enter our messyworld to bring us unshakable
hope in life.
No matter what struggles, insecurities, or lifestyle you
wrestle with, Jesus came toprovide grace and truth.
(15:31):
He wanted to bridge the gapthat sin created, offering a
relationship that's based on notwhat we do, but on what he's
done for us.
In Luke chapter 19, verse 10,Jesus puts it beautifully.
For the Son of Man came to seekand to save the lost.
(15:53):
That's all of us, Bob, needingrescue from our self-made
prisons and worldly turmoil.
He knew you beforehand andstepped into history to make
sure you, Bob, were included inhis loving plan.
It's this incredible love, personal, intimate, and powerful
(16:13):
relationship that transformshow we see ourselves and our
lives.
He isn't asking you to clean upfirst, he invites you to come
as you are, trusting hisfinished work to take care of
the rest.
It's a delight to share withthe world the birth of Jesus and
(16:34):
how he has a plan for each andevery one of us.
Bob (16:39):
I am goofy looking, don't
have nice clothes, and am very
shy.
I might not go to church.
Will that kick me out of clubChristianity?
Ron Meyers (16:47):
Well, Bob, you're
definitely coming up with a lot
of excuses, but you will neverget kicked out of club
Christianity for any of thereasons you just mentioned.
Remember, Christianity isn't aclub you get kicked out of based
on your appearance, clothes, orshyness.
It's a relationship with Jesus.
It's about what he has done foryou, not about your fashion or
(17:11):
your social status.
Bob, God chose you, loved you,and made you his child through
the work of Jesus.
Ephesians chapter 1, verses 4and 5.
Your identity in Christ is rocksolid and not dependent on how
you look, what you wear, or evenwhether you attend church
regularly.
(17:31):
Church can be a great place forcommunity and encouragement,
but it's not a requirement forGod's love.
It's more about connecting withothers who can support, uplift,
and walk with you in thisjourney we call life.
Jesus loves you completely andloves creativity in his
(17:51):
creation.
Goofy or shy, it's all part ofhis fantastic design.
God's love and acceptance arepermanent and come from the
heart.
So take hard in knowing thatyou are deeply known, loved, and
embraced by him just as youare.
Now here's a question from A.I.
(18:12):
Lulu.
LuLu (18:13):
I have lost my husband, my
kids live far away, and I am
alone this Christmas and I hateit.
I am lonely and stay in my bedall day.
I could use a Christmasmiracle.
Ron Meyers (18:25):
Lulu, I'm truly
sorry to hear about your loss
and the loneliness you'refeeling, especially during the
holidays.
It's so hard to face this timeof year when distance and loss
seem magnified.
But here's a comforting truthfor you today.
You're never truly alone.
Jesus is with you, holding youeven in the midst of sorrow.
(18:48):
His presence is constant and hecares deeply about what you're
going through.
He promises to be close to thebrokenhearted.
And he understands every tearand every sigh.
While it may not feel like it,reaching out to him can bring
(19:09):
that sense of miracle you'relonging for.
He's your comfort, and you cantalk to him about everything on
your heart, big or small.
In 1 Peter chapter 5, verse 7,we are reminded to cast all our
anxieties on him because hecares for us deeply.
Let that be a tender lifelineto your heart.
(19:32):
God often works throughcommunity, even in small ways.
Perhaps you can reach out to alocal group, a church, or even a
community center.
And Lulu, if it brings peace, spend time reflecting on
meaningful memories and knowthat God's Spirit fills that
space with love and hope.
(19:52):
Don't hesitate to share thisneed for a miracle with others,
whether it's a friend, a pastor,or a counselor.
You are loved more than youknow, and even from afar, others
care about you.
When I return, my Christmasgift to you.
Announcer (20:14):
You're listening to
Get the Hell Out of Your Life
with your host, Ron Myers.
Real stories, real struggles, and real hope.
Ron Meyers (20:26):
Can fear and peace
coexist within you at the same
time?
Well, let's explore that todayon Destined for Success.
Fear and peace arediametrically opposed, and
understanding their relationshipis key to living in the freedom
that Christ offers.
In the new covenant, God callsus to experience his peace,
(20:50):
which surpasses allunderstanding.
This peace is rooted in thetruth that we are fully
forgiven, completely loved, andeternally secure in Christ.
Fear often arises fromforgetting or misunderstanding
these truths.
First John 4 18 reminds us thatperfect love casts out fear.
(21:13):
Because fear involvespunishment.
And as believers, we know thatJesus has taken all punishment
for our sins.
So we don't need to fear God'sanger or judgment.
While life circumstances canmake us feel anxious, we are
encouraged to bring our worriesto God in prayer, trusting Him
(21:34):
to provide peace and comfort.
The Holy Spirit within usreassures us of our secure
position in Christ, helping usrest in his love and grace.
So, friend, if you're feeling amixture of fear and peace, it
might be a sign to refocus onthe truth of God's love and the
(21:56):
finished work of Jesus.
Remember, his peace is alwaysavailable to you.
And his spirit is there toguide you through any anxiety
you might face.

Growing up sometimes scares thedaylights out of you.
If you want to know what thefuture holds, get in touch with
the one who holds the future.
Stop wasting time and get a holdof God.
It's not about earning points bybeing good.
It ain't about some bornchurch.
Not about working your way toheaven.
Finding God is not aboutfollowing some group who claims
(22:52):
to be the only way to God.
It's not about being religious.
It's not about religion.
It's all about God's only Son.
It's all about Jesus.
It's all about Jesus.
It's about Jesus Christ.
It's all about you.
It's all about you, Jesus.
Jesus said, I am the way, thetruth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father butby me.
(23:14):
Well, someday when I standbefore God and he asks me, Why
should I let you into heaven?
All that's gonna matter is if Iknew Jesus or not, and that's
what it's all about.
How do you get the hell out ofyour life?
Get on your knees and cry outto the Lord.
He hears you right where youare.
How to get the hell out of yourlife?
Well, you replace it withJesus.
We gotta be born again, born ofthe Spirit, and that's by
(23:37):
trusting Jesus Christ, turningfrom our sins and trusting
Jesus.
How do you get the hell out ofyour life?
Oh gosh.
Ron Meyers (23:42):
Jesus.
Jesus.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
Turn to Jesus.
The greatest day in my life, friends, was the day I got the
hell out of my life.
It was.
I feel good.
I look good.
I think I do anyway.
Not because of anything I do,because everything he does
through me.
I keep the stress away.
(24:04):
I have some peace.
I have some confidence in thethings that he's doing in my
life.
And the most important thingthat God has called me to do is
to tell you you are fullyaccepted by Jesus.
That's right.
If you are a believer, you haveit made.
(24:25):
You've got it.
You have eternity with Jesus.
You can't lose it.
You can't screw it up.
We all stumble, but when we arefaithless, he is faithful.
Let me close out today's showwith prayer.
Heavenly Father, thank you forthe gift of Jesus this Christmas
(24:45):
season.
And for those that arestruggling and they don't know
what to believe, they feel likea misfit toy.
They feel out of place in thisworld.
Well, that's because theyhaven't met Jesus yet.
Lord, let them feel your love.
Hold them in the palm of yourhands and reassure them that
(25:08):
perfect love casts out all fear.
And Jesus, you are that perfectfear.
Touch us, inspire us, encourageus to become the person you
created us to be.
2026, we declare is going to beour best year because we are
going to walk by faith, not bysight, and we are going to
(25:33):
strive each and every day tojust rest in the finished works
of Jesus and become a person ofdestiny.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
I'll be back next week withanother inspirational episode of

In the meantime, remember thisthat I love you, Jesus loves
