RonMeyers (00:23):
Hello, my friends.
It is so good to be with youtoday.
My name is Ron Myers.
I'm your host, and this is ashow that shares stories of
God's faithfulness.
Remember last week when Italked about my meditation for
you this week?
Hopefully you've been thinkingabout it.
(00:45):
Was from Joshua chapter one, verse nine.
Be strong and courageous, forthe Lord your God will be with
you wherever you go.
Isn't that really powerful?
You know the thing is with God,He's with you whether you know
it or not.
I wrote a statement yesterdayas I was having my coffee with
(01:08):
Jesus that says, God has beenwith us completely along life's
road, even when we are not withhim.
Imagine how your life can bewhen you realize that God is
with you.
God is for you, and God is notagainst you.
(01:29):
With God, you can be strong andcourageous, knowing that He's
leading you on the path that maynot make any sense to you.
In fact, you may think that youare on your way to a dead end.
But as I like to say, it'srigged.
It's rigged for you to hearthis today.
It's rigged for what'shappening in your life because
(01:53):
it's going to come to a pointthat you will run into the
intersection of life, of God, ofopportunity, and you will
realize that Ron was right.
It is rigged.
This had to happen so I canexperience the life saving
(02:13):
power, comfort, inspiration, andencouragement of Jesus.
If we don't have encouragementwith Jesus, if we don't have
inspiration or divine thoughtsin the day and do the things
he's called us to do, we canhave a day that, well, it seems
like nothing is going right.
And then you know what happens?
(02:34):
We begin to doubt.
We begin to doubt the thingswe're doing.
And then even some of you willsay, Well, maybe I'm lost in the
wilderness because I didsomething.
I sinned.
I knew I shouldn't have sinned.
Oh, I skipped church.
Oh man, God has really tickedat me.
No, no, and no.
(02:56):
Friends, life is an adventure.
And in this adventure, especially when we're doing life
with Jesus, some things justdon't make sense.
But God is with us, God is forus, and it's rigged.
He is leading you to where youneed to be, and you are in the
(03:18):
right place at the right time, even if it seems like it's the
wrong place and the wrong time.
I will go into that a littlelater in the show, but first
Julietta.
Julietta is a young lady thattravels the Gulf Coast, and I
had to interview her because yousee, she is like the wind.
(03:42):
She blows into a city, staysfor a while, and then heads to
another city.
She has a mission to tellpeople about Jesus.
And that's what this show isabout.
It's the testimonies fromindividuals just like you, just
like me that want to share whatJesus did for them and what they
(04:05):
are doing now to tell otherpeople about Jesus.
I know sometimes it seems likewe have to be scholars or
graduates of seminaries beforewe can do God's work.
But that's not true.
Anyone can do God's work byjust telling people what Jesus
did for you.
(04:26):
As you listen to Julietta, Ithink you will enjoy her
enthusiasm and her zeal for lifebecause she is walking by
faith, not by sight, and thespirit is leading her into
incredible situations.
Julietta, thank you so much forsharing your story with my
(04:49):
listeners today.
So, what's your story?
Jullietta (04:52):
I am Julie at a
Dalcourt.
I am a 39-year-old woman, and Iam here as a servant of Jesus
Christ.
RonMeyers (05:01):
Now, what does that
mean, a servant of Jesus Christ?
Jullietta (05:04):
That means that to
him I live, for him I died, I
was reborn again, which led meto everlasting life.
And that means that I am thehands and feet of the Holy
Spirit, which is going to leadand guide me to serve the
purpose of spreading his lovehere on this earth.
RonMeyers (05:22):
Amen.
Now, where did you grow up?
Jullietta (05:25):
I grew up in
Gulfport, Mississippi.
RonMeyers (05:27):
Oh, you're from here.
Jullietta (05:28):
I thought you were
traveling through.
No, I'm from Gulfport,Mississippi, and He has led me
to come outside of Gulfport,Mississippi, to the Bullock City
Iverville area.
RonMeyers (05:39):
So when did you meet
Jesus?
Jullietta (05:41):
I've always known
him, not the name Jesus, but a
special feeling that I feltduring some trying times in my
life.
Ever since I was a little girl,I've had a discernment inside
of me to know when something wasright or when something was
wrong.
And I grew up in the church, you know, I grew up in Baptist
church.
And I've come to know that Godwas real because those feelings
(06:05):
that I was feeling were verysupernatural.
So supernatural to where Iactually begged to take the
feelings away, you know, andI've just always had them inside
of me, yet I completelysurrendered, completely
surrendered my life to Jesusabout a good four years, four
years ago, is when I'm like, youknow what?
(06:28):
Have your way.
Yet prior to that, I was in asinful nature, yet it did not
stop the relationship that I hadwith him.
Yet I was running.
I was going through thatrunning season of, oh, if I go
your way, you know, it'snobody's gonna like me and I'm
gonna be alone.
And it was just all types ofthings that had me running.
(06:49):
Yet that's a part of thetestimony.
I was tested, yet I neverdenied his name.
RonMeyers (06:55):
Wow.
Jullietta (06:56):
He's inside of all of
us, you know.
RonMeyers (06:58):
Now, at 39 years old,
you've had to have some ups and
downs in life.
Is there an instant where youcan share with the listeners
something that really wassupernatural that Jesus did in
your life to help you?
Jullietta (07:12):
Yes.
About a year ago, I wentthrough a season to where I got
on my knees, and um, quite oftenfor about a good month, I was
like, you know, I surrender.
I said, I surrender everythingto you.
Because at that time I wasexperiencing a lot of hurt, a
lot of betrayal.
And I'm like, wait a minute, you know, I come in peace and
(07:34):
love.
Why am I taking these hits likeI'm taking from family, from
friends, from authorities, fromlike it was just unreal so at
his appointed time, he heanswered my cry.
And in the midst of that, I'mtalking about verbatim.
It was like I lost the house.
I had to move out of the housethat I was renting.
(07:54):
That went sour.
I had to go into hotels, I hadto allow for my daughters to
leave, and I had been aroundthem every single day, and I had
to answer, you know, hissuggestion actually, because he
gave me the free will to allowfor them to go visit family for
a little bit.
(08:15):
And then I lost my car, andthen my things got stolen, my
money got stolen, and I hadnothing or no one.
I called over 50 people in myphone for five dollars just to
get something to eat.
I didn't have anything oranyone for a very long time, yet
I was following him.
(08:35):
I knew that this is what Iasked for.
He never not answered a prayer.
So I'm like, you know what?
This is purposeful.
So he carried me, he led me asif his hand was out in front of
me, you know, for me to grab, and I followed.
And in the midst of that, heallowed for me to come and come
(08:57):
across people in lowly placesthat just needed to hear his
name, to need they needed toknow that he is he was there
with them, and what they'regoing through is just so so he
can reveal itself to them and totrust him.
So, in the midst of all that,oh, it was just so much yet, and
so many horrible things happen.
(09:17):
I'm not giving credit, youknow, to the bad things, but yet
he carried me through only him, only him.
And when I say him, that is theHoly Spirit and how powerful it
is for him to reveal himselfthrough the people to be able to
carry me.
So it wasn't any money thatcarried me, it wasn't any
(09:41):
person, place, or thing thatcarried me.
It was him to allow for me tolet go of the idols, to fully
get into intimacy with him so hecan use me according to the
will of our heavenly father ofwhat I'm created to be here.
RonMeyers (09:56):
It sounds like you
went through a renewal process.
Something is happening, andyou're ministering to people
that are like you, that theyhave nothing, you have nothing,
but yet you have something incommon.
You love Jesus, or you arewanting to be, as you said, the
hands and feet of Jesus.
Jullietta (10:15):
Yes, yes.
I realize that once you knowhim, that's how you get to know
your true identity, who youreally are created to be.
You know, we are in this fallenworld, and you know, we've all
been through trials andtribulations and trauma, and
some people have even beenthrough church hurt, but those
(10:35):
were just schemes to get peopleto be so blinded, so they'll
never know their identitythrough him.
But once they know theiridentity through Christ, then
they'll know who they are, andthat way they'll know who love
is, what love is, and then it'llbe a trickle effect so we can
(10:57):
do what he is calling for us todo, which is to love our
neighbor as ourselves in thisseason.
RonMeyers (11:03):
Amen.
So, Julietta, what is youridentity?
Jullietta (11:08):
My identity in
Christ.
Wow, my identity is a daughter,a daughter of the most high, a
daughter that was created fromhim to be able to be here on
this earth to have anopportunity to divide the
kingdom of darkness by being thelight, in order for those who
(11:28):
are called to him can come tohim, because we never know when
that day or that time is.
So we all need the opportunityto hear the word of Jesus, his
name alone is powerful.
So I'm here to just spreadlove.
My identity is love.
RonMeyers (11:47):
I love that.
Your identity is love.
The Bible says God is love andwe are an extension of his love.
And I love how you you use theterm hands and feet because all
of us need to be the hands andfeet.
Show a little more love outthere, be kind to people.
Now, what are your goals?
What are what are you up tonow?
Are you still without a vehicleand living in hotels?
(12:10):
How how do you even makeincome?
Jullietta (12:12):
He provides.
I had a gift that he, you know,I was born with.
I'm a hairstylist, so I do hairwhenever I can.
I actually uh it's a younglady.
Well, I'm saying young ladybecause we're all young, we're
grown up.
It's a girl who um had a salonand you know, she charged me
minimal to come in there and dohair when I need to, you know,
(12:36):
to make, you know, ends meet.
So that's a way.
I help people, I serve, like, you know, and then I get
blessings, you know, here andthere.
You know, someone may buy me ameal, send me $20, and that is
everything, you know, whenyou're in need of something.
When I say everything, itdoesn't come before him.
I have a business that is a isa kingdom business, and I help
(12:59):
people be who they're created tobe.
I have a nonprofit that he'sblessed me with, and it's a lot
of great things going.
Motivational speaking, it'slike whatever it is that he has
for me to you is what I'm doing.
RonMeyers (13:14):
You are adaptable to
about any situation.
I love that.
I love that.
Be in the world, but not of theworld.
But you're in the world, butyou can kind of blend in and
share Jesus with every size, shape, and person.
I love it.
I love it.
You know, the name of this showis called Get the Hell Out of
Your Life.
How does a person get the hellout of their life?
Jullietta (13:35):
Oh, wow.
A person gets the hell out oftheir life by understanding that
it's God, God the Father, theSon, and God the Holy Spirit,
which is one.
The power of the Holy Spirit isavailable to all of us, which
is the free gift that God givesus.
And that way, a blindfold willbe unveiled from our eyes, and
(13:56):
he will reveal his miracles, signs, and wonders and truth to
where you will know theobstacles that you are up
against.
Anything that is not of good isof Satan, is of the devil.
He comes to kill, steal, anddestroy.
And I've been able to faceevery single one of his little
minions to be able to know thatyou can rebuke Satan in the name
(14:19):
of Jesus, and you can tell himto get thee behind me so you can
stop whatever it is that'sstopping you from knowing your
identity through Christ.
So I can truthfully say that heis behind every type of hurt
that you have ever felt, andanything that is not of love is
not of God.
(14:40):
So I got the hell out of mylife by defeating the giants, by
accepting to call to know myidentity through Christ through
the Holy Spirit, revealing itand doing it for me.
It was none of me, all of him.
RonMeyers (14:55):
You know, I
understand now why God puts you
out there on the streets.
You're a little evangelist, you're kind of like a John the
Baptist, wild lady, Julietagoing out for on the streets,
telling people about Jesus.
I love it.
Jullietta (15:09):
Yes, yes, yes.
And I am so honored.
I'm honored.
RonMeyers (15:14):
Do people heckle you?
Do you have people that try tocause trouble with you?
Jullietta (15:19):
Oh gosh, I've had so
much to happen to me.
I've got banned for beingloving and kind and you know,
trying to restore a brother.
I have been gang stalked by fordo for praying for someone.
And actually, like it wascrazy.
I was in a situation to where, like, if they could have wrapped
(15:39):
a rope around my neck and hungme, they would have only because
I spoke the name of Jesus.
And in that moment, I realizedthat wow, you are more than what
I could ever know.
Because if it was not for yourhands being on me, I wouldn't
even be here speaking.
RonMeyers (15:58):
Wow.
Jullietta (15:59):
To you right now.
RonMeyers (16:01):
Well, you know, I
tell people a lot, Julietta,
that we can know Jesus from ahistorical perspective.
No, read about him in a book.
He did this and he did that.
Or we can know him like you doin a personal experience, an
interaction, an intimaterelationship.
And that's really where weshould all want to walk of
(16:24):
understanding who he is, whatwe're here for, because that is
when he inspires us andencourages us on our walk in
life, isn't it?
Jullietta (16:33):
Yes, it is.
And we all have the opportunityto know by the obedience of
what he says.
You know, like if a person iswalking in darkness, he's never
going to allow for them to walkalone.
He's always going to placesomeone that can tell them the
truth.
And then if we repent, repentall the time because none of us
(16:57):
are sin free.
So if we're repenting and beingobedient to what he says, do,
it gives him an opportunitybecause he's holy, holy, holy.
So it'll give him anopportunity to work with us.
You know, he can mess with thetruth, but he's not going to
deal with the lie.
But by his grace and mercy, hestill carries us.
(17:17):
If we all would just seek, wewill find.
RonMeyers (17:21):
Amen.
You know, Julieta, before wego, I'm gonna have you pray for
the listeners in just a minute.
But I want to say that I reallywant to thank you, and I want
to thank God.
But uh, listeners, if you justtuned in, someone gave her my
phone number because they wantedher to call because I share
stories about Jesus.
(17:42):
So I know God put me in yourpath.
Thank you for being obedient, and thank you for calling me,
and thank you for really sharingyour story.
I mean, you are the real deal.
You're out there on the streetswith nothing.
You live in hotel room afterhotel room, but yet God
provides, you get to cut hair, you get to do things, you earn
extra money.
(18:03):
But the most important thing isyou're giving people hope.
And people are looking forhope, Julieta.
So before we close, will yougive some hope to the listeners
out there that are struggling, that are scared, they're ready
to give up, they're ready tocall it quits.
Will you give hope to thosefolks?
Jullietta (18:23):
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
The things that you're goingthrough right now, it's only
because God has trusted you.
God has trusted you to gothrough what you're going
through.
So you won't deny his name whenhe blesses you with the things
that he has for you that areattached to your identity
(18:46):
through Christ.
We are here to be the light.
Those of us who have the heartand have the desires and are
looking for things, and don't,and when I say things, that's
not in regards to people, places, or things.
That is regards to the desiresof the heart, who you are and
who you are created to be.
Therefore, you've been trustedto steward hardships.
(19:11):
So when you overcome them, youwill come across people and
won't be hypocritical when youtell them about it.
Jesus is real.
God the Father, God the Son,God the Holy Spirit, which is
one, is real.
I'm Julie, I'm a hairstylist,I'm a serving of Jesus.
Um I'm so much more, but I'mone individual.
(19:31):
That's who we all are.
Seek him.
Speak the name of Jesus byfaith.
Speak the name of Jesus.
Even if you're not even a realbeliever, try it.
He will never fail because heis the way, he is the truth, and
he is life.
Show Opening (19:59):
You're listening

Real stories, real struggles, and real hope.

One of the most
somber statements ever to be
uttered is it's hopeless.
Maybe you feel it's hopelessfor you to get what you've
always wanted in your life, andthat hopelessness may be leading
you down a path that dead endsinto despair.
There's no hopeless situationfrom God's standpoint, because
nothing is impossible with Him.
Turn to Jesus for forgivenessand allow him to restore hope.

RonMeyers (21:09):
Do you remember the
show, The Wizard of Oz?
And what was it the lionwanted?
Courage.
Movie Clip (21:15):
What makes a king
out of a slave?
Courage.
What makes the flag on themaster wave?
Courage.
What makes the elephant chargehis dusk in the misty mist or
the dusky dusk?
What makes the muskrat god hismusk?
Courage.
What makes the sphinx theseventh wonder?
(21:36):
What makes the dust?
Courage.
You can say that again.
RonMeyers (21:53):
If the lion would
have just realized that God was
with him.
God was along the road of lifewith him, and God could be his
courage.
Talking about courage takes meback to when I was around 25
years old.
(22:14):
I was single, and a friend ofmine would go out on Saturday
night to a nightclub in GolfPark called the Cheyenne Social
Club.
We love to dance, and we wouldhave a little private contest
between both of us.
Who could dance with the mostwomen there at the nightclub?
Well, I got off the dance floorone night, and this big biker
(22:39):
came right up in front of me.
And he looked at me and hesaid, You think you're cool,
don't you, Mr.
Ron Myers?
And I looked at this guy, big, heavy, set gentleman, and all
the tattoos, his biker jacket.
So I looked at him, I knew thiswas a defining moment for me,
(23:02):
and I said, No, I don't thinkI'm cool at all.
I'm just trying to have somefun there with my friend.
And he looked at me, he said,You do you know I could take you
outside right now and crushyou?
I could kill you.
I inched a couple inches closerto him, looked at him in the
(23:23):
eye, and said, Yes, you could.
But what would that prove?
That you're some big Mr.
Tough guy?
And then, out of the clearblue, I just said, by the way,
did you know that God loves you?
Well, this big bully took astep backwards, paused a minute,
(23:48):
looked at me, and then said,Can I buy you a beer?
I said, Why would you buy me abeer?
You just wanted to take meoutside and beat me to a pole.
He said, Nobody has ever stoodup to me before.
I've always pushed aroundpeople, but you had the courage
(24:10):
to challenge me.
Friends, that was that was adefining moment in my life.
I mean, I was a young squirt,kind of skinny.
I would have rather taken apunch I didn't want to die, than
to walk away and be a coward.
Some of the things that we fearin life are defining moments
(24:33):
because if we don't confront it,if we don't deal with it, it
will absolutely haunt you for along time.
You will lose respect foryourself and you'll never want
to talk about it with people.
What am I saying?
I'm saying God is with you.
God has given you courage.
(24:54):
He has not given you a spiritof fear, but of power, love, and
sound mind.
God is with you, God is foryou, and God is not against you.
Now here's a little tidbit therest of the story with that
gentleman.
About six months later, hiswife called me and asked if I
would help do a fundraiser forher husband.
(25:15):
She said, My husband has beendiagnosed with brain cancer and
only has a little time to live, and he has some expensive
medical bills.
And friends, six months laterhe did pass.
But I look now back at that, and God had it rigged.
He had it rigged for me and forRandy.
(25:37):
He had it rigged for me becausehe was teaching me about
courage that I was going to gothrough life and people were
going to try to intimidate me,try to push me to the sidelines
in life.
But I would have to standstrong and be courageous.
And he also rigged it to have aconversation with Randy and
(25:57):
plant the seed of God.
His wife did tell me that heasked Jesus into his heart
before he passed.
So, friend, let me ask you whatare you fearful of?
What do you need a courage toface in your life?
God wants to help you.
(26:18):
Jesus wants to guide you intothe land of your destiny.
And Jesus will lead you to thepath that you need to go.
After all, it's rigged.
He's got a plan for you.
You needed to hear this todaybecause God is moving in your
life.
And when I come back, I'm goingto pray for you.
