Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's time now to get the hell out of your life.

and offering real hope.
Today's show will encourage, inspire and empower you to face
life's challenges with a boldconfidence and renewed hope.
Now let's join our host, ronMyers.
The promoter.

Ron Meyers (00:23):
Hello, my friend, it is so good to be with you today
.
Have you had your conversationwith Jesus today?
You know, share with himanything that's on your heart
the good, the bad, the ugly, theconcerns, the worries.
That is how you get throughyour day Conversations with
Jesus.
On the way into the studio thismorning I was listening to a

(00:44):
song by Rebecca, st James andKing and Country.
It's called you Make EverythingBeautiful.
What a powerful reminder ofGod's incredible plan for our
lives.
He takes the messes in our lifeand he makes everything
beautiful.
Now I have a question Would youlike to become the captain of

(01:09):
your ship, the director of yourdestiny?
Well, I will talk about that inthe final thought segment, but
first I want to ask you do youbelieve in the unseen realm?
You know spiritual warfare.
The Bible says that we wrestlenot with flesh and blood, but
principalities of power.
Remember that TV show years agoI'm sure my age now, flip

(01:34):
Wilson.
He used to say the devil mademe do it.
Well, maybe to some degree thatis true.
We do battle with spiritualwarfare.
So today I wanted to call myfriend Paul Renfro.
I met him in Nashville, tennessee, a few years ago, and
he writes books on the unseenrealm, so I have Paul on the

(01:58):
phone.
Paul, it is so good that you'regoing to talk with my listeners
today.
How are you?

Paul Renfroe (02:05):
So good that you're going to talk with my
listeners today.
How are you?
Oh, ron, I'm really glad to beable to relate to your audience
and to you, because the world isgoing crazy.

Ron Meyers (02:14):
There's an explanation so everybody's
wondering what's going to happennext, and that there's a lot
that we can talk about.
There was a show on years ago,Flip Wilson.
He was a comedian and he usedto say all the time the devil
made me do it.

Paul Renfroe (02:29):
Well, and just to qualify that people don't
realize that the devil islimited to a place.
He's not God, and so God isable to be everywhere at once,
but not the devil, but thekingdom of darkness which he
leads is comprised of many, manyhenchmen, and it's those

(02:51):
henchmen that execute thetroubles that people endure from
unseen evil.

Ron Meyers (02:59):
You personally have experienced this for yourself,
haven't you?

Paul Renfroe (03:03):
I have, and let me tell you it's crushing when an
unseen enemy wants to mess withyou.
By God's permission, they canmess with your health, they can
mess with your money, they canmess with your family, they can
mess with your country and yourgovernment.
The unseen enemies have a greatdeal of influence and here's

(03:24):
why Ron and people don't reallyrealize that the primary reality
is.
The unseen world of spirit isan expression, it's a place

(03:47):
where things are manifested andwe have a free will that we can
utilize as we move about thisphysical, tangible world.
But the unseen realm is primaryand people don't realize that
they have a choice.
Am I just going to live as ifthis physical world is the real
world and the primary world?
Well, if it's very real I don'tmean to suggest that it's

(04:08):
illusory or anything, it's veryreal, believe me, I've been in
heart surgery five times and Iknow this world, this body is
real, but at the same time, it'snot primary.
Well, if we choose to say, okay, it's not primary, the unseen
world is primary and I am verypoorly equipped for it that

(04:29):
opens a door for God Almighty tobe on your side.
But if, on the other hand, yousay, well, this physical world
is primary, the unseen realm iskind of make-believe, and who
knows?
Then all of a sudden you becomecannon fodder for the kingdom
of darkness and they don't haveto mess much with you.

Ron Meyers (04:49):
I heard you say in the beginning, with God's
permission.
What do you mean by God'spermission?

Paul Renfroe (04:53):
Yes, 100%, and this is very clear from the
Bible.
But when you think about it,it's very easy to figure out
because, by definition, god isuncontestable.
He has total power and controland nothing happens that is
outside of his supervision andpermission.

(05:15):
When you think about that, thenyou say, okay, well, why is
there a devil?
This is an age-old question.
If God is superior to the devil, why is there a devil?
If God loves people, why isthere pain and suffering?
These are age-old questions andthere's easy answers that Jesus
revealed.
So it's very clear and simpleto understand if you can get the

(05:38):
understanding that the primaryinfluence always originates in
the unseen realm.
Just look in the mirror, for anexample.
You look in the mirror and yousee your body, but you can't see
your mind.
You can't see your heart, youcan't see your feelings, you
can't see your willpower.
Those are unseen.
So the primary influence isalways unseen.

Ron Meyers (06:02):
So, Paul, let me ask you, if I had some spiritual
sunglasses and I could see theunseen realm, what would I see?

Paul Renfroe (06:10):
Well, there's no telling.
But in the Bible it describes agift of discernment, and people
with that gift describe beingable to see spirits, both evil
and holy.
A good example of Holy Spiritis obviously the Holy Spirit,
but he's called the Holy Spiritbecause there's a whole vast

(06:33):
array of spiritual beings thatare holy and we call them angels
.
They're always on God's sideand they always execute God's
will faithfully, and so that'sone group of the spirits.
And then there's another groupof spirits and they're
characterized by things thatsound good but always hold false

(06:55):
promise.
And if you look at anybody'slife who has really said I don't
care about the unseen realm, then they have this built-in
decay that occurs, and with norejuvenation.
Rejuvenation means re-youth andre-euthanasia.
Rejuvenation they sound alike.

(07:17):
Well, when we relate to theHoly God and the Holy Spirit
that he wants to put within us,there is a source of
rejuvenation.
But the kingdom of darknessdoesn't have that and people who
don't choose God don't havethat, and so you just get old
and decay and hopeless andmiserable and have troubles and
just try to stay ahead as longas you're alive.

(07:39):
It's not a very fulfilling wayto live.

Ron Meyers (07:42):
You know, Paul, when I started walking with Jesus, I
did feel more energized andrejuvenated.

Paul Renfroe (07:48):
Isn't that amazing .

Ron Meyers (07:49):
It really is, because I realized that I was
safe in the arms of Jesus, thathe was with me.
Nothing could take me out ofhis hands, and Jesus is the
answer.

Paul Renfroe (08:03):
And you know, because your autobiography is
very powerful, ron, and Icertainly think your audience
needs to know about it in orderthat they can benefit from what
we're talking about.
Do you want to tell them aboutit?

Ron Meyers (08:17):
In my book, the Promoter, I do talk about the
first part of my life and I dolook back and see that I
probably was influenced by somedarkness.
Not so much evil, buteverything was about me.
And isn't that what Satan?
He was a fallen angel.

Paul Renfroe (08:32):
Yes, he was a fallen angel.

Ron Meyers (08:34):
So my first half everything was about me, pride,
I was building Ron Myersproductions, and then, when I
had the light, when I was blind, and then I began to see Jesus,
the whole second part of my lifeis now not only promoting him,
but I have a whole new life.
I have new desires, newthoughts, and the good thing is

(08:57):
that I know now, by walking inthat darkness, that I can
compare it to walking in thelight and it's.
It is literally the differencebetween night and day.

Paul Renfroe (09:09):
Oh golly, literally is right.
Hey look, I think there'ssomething that would really be
beneficial, after hearing whatyou just said, for those
listening, because what you havejust expressed about your life
being in kind of two parts andyou've seen both sides and there

(09:29):
are listeners who have afeeling that they're probably
okay and there's no need to getworked up about spiritual things
.
They're a good person and neverbeen convicted of a crime,
which is a headline issue thesedays, and so OK.
But the fact of the matter is,if there's not a great deal of

(09:55):
calamity, then it might mean andthis is a warning for the
listener in that situation itmight mean that the kingdom of
darkness doesn't have to do toomuch to hold on to you.
Now that should be frighteningto you, listener, because if the
kingdom of darkness thinks, okay, he's our property, she's

(10:17):
our property and no need to messwith them.
Let's give them a happy life,we'll see them at the end.
You know, eternity is a longtime and if that's the way your
spiritual enemies see you, that's not a good sign and you
should take it as a good warningflag.
Now, I'm not saying thatcalamity is a blessing, okay.
I'm not saying that death anddestruction and sorrow and

(10:39):
poverty and financial loss areblessings.
I'm not saying that death anddestruction and sorrow and
poverty and financial loss areblessings.
I'm not saying that at all.
But what I am saying is thisthat often the true God permits
those things to occur preciselyso that you will turn to him.
It's almost as if we want toprove that the bottom of the

(10:59):
barrel really exists.
So the only question is howdeep is your barrel?
And so if it takes you yourentire life and you never hit
the bottom, well, you might justkeep going all the way into
eternal darkness, which Jesustaught about.
But on the other hand, if youhit the bottom, and then I'll
say, well, there's nowhere tolook but up.

(11:20):
And all of a sudden, what doyou see?
When you look up, you seethere's light, there's light in
the life of that and therejuvenation, the re-euthanation
that God Almighty gives.

Ron Meyers (11:31):
You have a lot of people that are doing things for
Jesus.
They're doing works and theyare just doing everything for
Jesus.
Doesn't Jesus, somewhere in theBible, say that I never knew
you depart from me?
If we don't know Jesus, we canget caught up in our works into
the outside world.

(11:52):
Oh, what a nice person that is.
Look at all the good thingsthey're doing.
They must be saved.
That isn't always necessarilytrue, is it?

Paul Renfroe (12:02):
Well, no, and see, that comes back again to this
one thing that I want to impartto your listener the unseen
world is primary, so somebodycan look good and somebody can
look bad in this natural world,or things can go real well for
you, they can go real bad foryou.

(12:25):
But these aren't the primaryindicators, because the tangible
, physical, visible world is notthe primary influence.
It's where the influence of theunseen realm is manifested.
In that case that you described, you're correct.
In that case that you described, you're correct.
Jesus did give a specificexample of people who were very

(12:45):
powerful.
They were very powerful miracleworkers.
And on Judgment Day they said,oh Lord, look what we've done.
And he had, he had seven wordsDepart from me, evildoers.
I never knew you.
Well that that might be eightin the translation I just used

(13:07):
Depart from me, evildoers.
And so, listener, you've got torealize that what happens in
this world doesn't constituteendorsements or condemnation,
because the different peoplehave different lives.
But I will say that if you areattentive to God, who is a

(13:28):
spirit, and you say, god, Idon't want to go to hell, I want
to have eternity with you, Idon't want to take it for
granted.
And so I understand that Jesusdied for me and I've got to
follow him, and that then, allof a sudden, all your wrath
against me is satisfied when hedied on the cross.

(13:51):
And, listener, that's theprayer you want to make and
that's the life you want to live.

Ron Meyers (13:56):
Well and that's the life of freedom.
That's the life you want tolive.
Well, and that's the life offreedom.
That is the life of freedombecause Colossians says Paul
said we are complete and lacknothing to have a godly life.
God has equipped us, theChristians.
He's alive in us, we have hisHoly Spirit and if we walk by
the Spirit and not by the flesh,we're going to be able to sense

(14:20):
some darkness.
We're going to be able to sensesomething isn't right, this
person isn't right, this stuffdoesn't make sense.
And that's good.
That's that internal HolySpirit alarm clock.

Paul Renfroe (14:31):
One hundred percent, and we all actually all
of us have a conscience when itcomes.
Let's just put it this way it'sappointed for man once to die
and after that face the judgment.
Now the Bible reveals who thejudge is, and it's not God the
Father, it's God the Son, jesusChrist.

(14:53):
Now, everybody that knew himtestified that he was without
sin, knew him, testified that hewas without sin, and so this is
not a really inviting, excitingsituation where, after I die,
on judgment day, I'll be judgedby a man who never sinned.
Okay, however, he didn't justleave it there.
That's why, when he died on thecross, it had a power.

(15:18):
Died on the cross.
It had a power because he diedundeservedly.
We die, we deserve it.
We go to hell, we deserve it,but he died undeservedly, and so
the Father says that is a lotof love.
And so anybody that associatesthemselves with Jesus
wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly,anybody that associates
themselves with Jesus, I wantthem in heaven.

(15:41):
I'm going to put my Holy Spirit, I'm going to live in them, I'm
going to walk them through thesame life circumstances that
other people have, and they aregoing to know me better.

Ron Meyers (15:52):
So well put Paul Renfro.
Paul, we're just about out oftime.
I know you have a free resourcefor our listeners, so what's
your website so they can getmore information about you and
your books and that freeresource?

Paul Renfroe (16:06):
My website is ParadigmLighthousecom
ParadigmLighthousecom, andthere's a free book for you.
So anybody who goes to thatwebsite will automatically get a
free 52-page book, and noproblem.
You just tell me where to sendit and we'll send it to you
either by email or e-book or inprint.

(16:28):
It doesn't matter, because Iwant to help you.
Listener, paradigm Lighthouse,and that's spelled
P-A-R-A-D-I-G-M lighthousecom.

Ron Meyers (16:43):
Paul, could I get you to pray for our listeners?

Paul Renfroe (16:47):
Hallelujah, I sure will.
Heavenly Father, personlistening right now, I know that
you are speaking.
Let me just tell you, listener,as I have been talking with Ron
, I've been listening to theHoly Spirit about you on the
listening end of this show, andso everything I've shared with
you is something that hasbubbled up from within by the

(17:09):
Holy Spirit.
God is speaking to you.
This may be a warning if youhaven't been wholehearted about
Jesus.
It may be an encouragement ifyou have been, but maybe you're
flagging in zeal.
Or it may just be acondemnation if you are bound to
determine that you're not goingto do what God did.

(17:31):
So consider yourself warned,invited, encouraged.
However, god is speaking to you, listener, and the Heavenly
Father, you said that your wordis living and active, and it
pierces to the division of oursoul and our spirit.
So I call to you, listener, towake up.
Wake up.

(17:51):
I call to your spirit.
The dormancy and the sleepingbeauty of your spirit must awake
, that Jesus, the Prince, haskissed you and is no longer
tolerable for you to livehalf-hearted.
In Jesus' name, when I return.

Ron Meyers (18:11):
I want to share a pep talk that I wrote for myself
.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
You're listening to Get the Hell Out of your Life
with your host, ron Myers.
Real stories, real strugglesand real hope.

Speaker 5 (18:27):
Here's a refreshing word from the book of Ephesians,
chapter 5, verse 8.

Ron Meyers (18:31):
For you were once darkness, but now you are light
in the Lord.
Walk as children of light.

Speaker 6 (18:40):
What's your story?

(19:02):
Your testimony of God's amazinggrace will change a person's
destiny for eternity.

Speaker 4 (19:16):
His name is Willie Ames.
He's a pretty imperfect guy.
He sometimes doesn't change theoil in his car on time.
He hasn't gotten around to fixthe toaster his wife asked him
to fix two months ago.
He even missed church a fewSundays ago to play golf.
An ordinary imperfect guy thatWillie Ames.
But despite his imperfectionshe's got something really going
for him.
The guy loves God a lot, heloves to study the Word, he

(19:41):
loves his family and he loves topraise the Lord.
Boy, does he love to praise theLord?
It goes to show that God isn'tlooking for perfect people to
follow him.
He just needs people who lovehim with all their heart.
Someone who has a heart for Godis more pleasing to God than
someone who looks squeaky cleanbut has no real passion for God.
The Bible says that love coversa multitude of sins.
So get the love part done.

(20:02):
God can cover all the otherlittle imperfections.
You don't like where you'reheaded.
Rearrange it.
You're sick of being let down.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
And you want to turn your life around.
If you want to start livingright, get the hell out of your
life.

Ron Meyers (20:33):
Get the hell out of your life.
Welcome back listeners.
So good to be with you and Iwant to share something with you
that I wrote a few years ago.
I wrote myself a pep talkbecause I felt I was kind of
losing focus of what my purposewas here in this world because I

(20:54):
was so consumed with the news.
It was addictive, I mean.
I watched the news, I thought Ihad all the answers to
everything, and then I saw theelection of 2020, the fights,
the riots, and I'm telling youit was an eye-opening experience
for me and I realized that daythat I cannot allow the world,

(21:15):
events, politicians and politicsto control my mood, to control
my destiny.
So I wrote a pep talk and hereit is and I hope it can help you
, because it sure helped theperson.
It was written for me.
In a world filled with so manyvoices telling you what you can

(21:36):
and can't do, it's time to drownout the doubt and take charge
of your destiny.
You hold the power of the HolySpirit to shape your life, to
discover your path and to writeyour own story.
Do not let the doubts and thecynicism of others define who

(21:59):
you are, what you should believeand what you can achieve.
Embrace the fact that, withJesus at the center of your
universe, your growth islimitless, your potential
endless and your joyuncontainable that's right,
uncontainable.
It's time to take charge ofyour destiny.

(22:22):
Guard your emotions, neversurrender your joy, never
surrender your peace and neversurrender your destiny.
Never surrender your peace andnever surrender your destiny.
Your talents, skills andabilities are God's gift to
share with the world.
Your talents, skills andabilities are God's gifts to the
share, are God's gifts to sharewith the world.

(22:46):
Don't hold back.
Stand firm in your faith andlet that light shine bright and
illuminate the way for others.
Remember you were created for aspecific purpose.
You were designed to thrive, toexcel and to become the best
version of yourself.

(23:07):
Your purpose is one of a kind.
Your assignment is yours alone, and Jesus, the center of your
universe, directs you to yourdestiny, to your assignment, to
what you are to do here on earth.
So I urge you to step into hispower, seize the moment and

(23:28):
remember it is okay to say no.
You don't have to do everythingfor everyone.
Just do the things that Jesushas called you to do, to take
control of your life.
Take charge of your destiny.
If you don't become you, whowill no one will no one.

(23:57):
So rise up, embrace yourpotential and watch as your life
transforms into a masterpieceof courage, hope and boundless
possibilities that are onlypossible with Jesus.
You have the strength, withJesus, to overcome any obstacle,
the courage to face anychallenge and the faith to soar
into your destiny.

(24:17):
Embrace your calling, embraceyour destiny and become the
person you were created tobecome.
The world is waiting for you.
So go, shine, go forth, illuminate the path to your
destiny that comes with arelationship with Jesus and,
most of all, be yourself.

We want to remind you today ofthe last words of Jesus it is

(25:35):
finished.
What is finished?
The finished work of Jesusrefers to the complete and final
accomplishment of salvationthrough His death and
resurrection.
It means that Jesus has doneeverything necessary for our
forgiveness, redemption andreconciliation with God.
Through His sacrifice on thecross, Jesus paid the price for

(25:57):
our sins once and for all, providing total forgiveness and
cleansing.
This finished work of Jesusmeans that we no longer need to
strive or work to earn God'sfavor or forgiveness.
We can rest in the assurancethat our salvation is secure and
that we are fully accepted byGod because of what Jesus has

(26:18):
done for us.
Now back to Ron.
