I wanna start by talking aboutMaryland.

think anybody's talking aboutMaryland.
Right.
In a way it, it it's, you know,and yet they're 11 and three in
the number two seed.

But again, as we talked about,they did just lose to Ohio State
in the, in the Big 10Championship.

But boy, coach Tillman hascertainly had a way of preparing

his teams for the NCAtournament.
Yeah.
Tough to bet against tills inthe NCA tournament.

And this, but this, thisMaryland team seems to be a team
that.
Unlike some of the recentMaryland teams, which, you know,
up and down on both ends of thefield, had some of the better
players in the country.
Seems like they're winning withwith depth.

They, they, they have a lot ofvery good players all over the
field, but not the CJ cursedifference making kind of
player, right.
Like they've had in the past.

Ursa have 38 points and Kelly'sgot 36, which is like a 2.3
point per game average, which islike half of what most other
teams top players have.
And then they got a bunch ofguys with like 10 to 20 points.

So they, I mean, they are,they're, you know, got a thin
margin there on offense.
And shockingly, you know,they're usually super
consistent, which this team hasbeen, you know, they beat
Princeton, they beat Richmond,they beat Syracuse, they beat
Notre Dame, they did beat OhioState in the regular season, but
they lost to Michigan in thesecond half of the season.
They lost to Rutgers and nowthey lost Ohio State.

So like, you're gonna wonder alittle Jay again, like this is
the theme, right?
Every one of these teams, whenyou were going through their
wins, I'm like, holy cow, howcan you not think they're gonna
win at all again?
And then you go, oh, but theylost to Michigan and lost to
Rutgers and just lost two nonplayoff teams.
So every single one of theseteams, again, with the exception

of.
Cornell, you see that they allhave flaws.
You know that unless they'regiven, you know that on any
given day, if they're notplaying their best or the
matchup isn't quite right, youknow, as you were talking about
Syracuse and Notre Dame right.
That none of these teams havethe, the talent to overpower
you.
Right.
It seems so, it's, that's, thatis gonna, what, what's gonna

make for a really incredibletournament.
I, I, I, again, would not besurprised to see Marilyn make a
run, but it, it sure does seemlike most teams that reach the
pinnacle, they have those one ortwo difference makers, right.
They got a lot of, they got alot of parts, but, you know, the
teams that, that win it all havea couple of those special

players that when it, whencrunch time comes, they're just
gonna make the plays thatmatter.
And I just don't know if Marilynhas that this year.

I mean, when push comes to shoveand the chips are down, Cornell
just gives the ball to CJ cursedand he doesn't even have to
score the goal, although mosttimes he does, everybody you,
you know, slides to him andhe'll make an incredible play

either scoring or moving theball for an assist or getting a
hockey assist.
So Marilyn definitely does nothave people like that.
So they are number two indefensive efficiency.
Their goalie McEnany is 34 yearsold.
He's doing a heck of a job, buthe's an amazing goalie.
He, he's a serious differencemaker.
Their defense is very good.
Offense is only number 22though.

But that number 22 offense willbe going against the number 44
defense in Air Force.
And although Air Force has donea heck of a job, seven in a row,
wins to end their season and winthe conference championship for
the aun.
I think it might be interestingearly, but I got Maryland
winning 12 to four.

I think again, it's, it's it'sreally interesting when we
talked about Fairfield earlierand the run they were on mm-hmm.
And you see what three teams inthe tournament who struggled
widely right.
Early in the season and foundtheir mojo and and are coming
into the tournament with greatmomentum, air Force being one of

them.
But I think in this game, I, Ithink they're gonna be
overmatched as your statisticsjust demonstrated.
And but it's, it is cool to seeit's the third or fourth team
that's had a season like that,that like chips are down, they
lost to all these in conferenceteams, then they go on an
incredible run, beat the teamsthat they lost to in the regular
season in the conferenceplayoff, and get into the NCA

tournament.
And it's pretty cool story.
Well, I think Jay, overall, itit, right, it just continues to
show the incredible growth ofthe game and the number of
talented kids that are comingout of high school.
Because, you know, therewould've been a day where if
you're, if you're one in seven,you're, you don't even have a
prayer, you know?
But the reality is that themargin is close.

You can be one in seven and, andbe right, right on the cusp.
Right, right.
And so, which is crazy.

And so, and vice versa asFairfield, you know, found out.

Even though they ended up 14 andthree.
So yeah, the, the talent levelacross the board as, as we're
looking at, it used to be too,you look, you went through these
first round games and there werethree or four that you just,

Even the last couple years, youmight have an upset here or
there in the first round, butthese are all like 50 50 pick
thems except for like two games.

But this is incredible, youknow, with all, we got 16 teams
and really you'd say there's alock maybe on two of these games
and that's it, right?

against Syracuse and I wouldn'tbe surprised if they won the

first round or I wouldn't besurprised if they went all the

And so I think it's gonna be oneof the most exciting, wide open
tournaments we've seen in a longtime.

margin there on offense.
And shockingly, you know,they're usually super
consistent, which this team hasbeen, you know, they beat
Princeton, they beat Richmond,they beat Syracuse, they beat
Notre Dame, they did beat OhioState in the regular season, but
they lost to Michigan in thesecond half of the season.
They lost to Rutgers and nowthey lost Ohio State.

So like, you're gonna wonder alittle Jay again, like this is
the theme, right?
Every one of these teams, whenyou were going through their
wins, I'm like, holy cow, howcan you not think they're gonna
win at all again?
And then you go, oh, but theylost to Michigan and lost to
Rutgers and just lost two nonplayoff teams.
So every single one of theseteams, again, with the exception

Cornell, you see that they allhave flaws.
You know that unless they'regiven, you know that on any
given day, if they're notplaying their best or the
matchup isn't quite right, youknow, as you were talking about
Syracuse and Notre Dame right.
That none of these teams havethe, the talent to overpower

It seems so, it's, that's, thatis gonna, what, what's gonna

make for a really incredibletournament.
I, I, I, again, would not besurprised to see Marilyn make a
run, but it, it sure does seemlike most teams that reach the
pinnacle, they have those one ortwo difference makers, right.
They got a lot of, they got alot of parts, but, you know, the
teams that, that win it all havea couple of those special

players that when it, whencrunch time comes, they're just
gonna make the plays thatmatter.
And I just don't know if Marilynhas that this year.

I mean, when push comes to shoveand the chips are down, Cornell
just gives the ball to CJ cursedand he doesn't even have to
score the goal, although mosttimes he does, everybody you,

hockey assist.
So Marilyn definitely does nothave people like that.
So they are number two indefensive efficiency.
Their goalie McEnany is 34 yearsold.
He's doing a heck of a job, buthe's an amazing goalie.
He, he's a serious differencemaker.
Their defense is very good.
Offense is only number 22though.

But that number 22 offense willbe going against the number 44
defense in Air Force.
And although Air Force has donea heck of a job, seven in a row,
wins to end their season and winthe conference championship for
the aun.
I think it might be interestingearly, but I got Maryland
winning 12 to four.

I think again, it's, it's it'sreally interesting when we
talked about Fairfield earlierand the run they were on mm-hmm.
And you see what three teams inthe tournament who struggled
widely right.
Early in the season and foundtheir mojo and and are coming
into the tournament with greatmomentum, air Force being one of

them.
But I think in this game, I, Ithink they're gonna be
overmatched as your statisticsjust demonstrated.
And but it's, it is cool to seeit's the third or fourth team
that's had a season like that,that like chips are down, they
lost to all these in conferenceteams, then they go on an
incredible run, beat the teamsthat they lost to in the regular
season in the conferenceplayoff, and get into the NCA

tournament.
And it's pretty cool story.
Well, I think Jay, overall, itit, right, it just continues to
show the incredible growth ofthe game and the number of
talented kids that are comingout of high school.
Because, you know, therewould've been a day where if
you're, if you're one in seven,you're, you don't even have a

But the reality is that themargin is close.
