CSUN Broadcaster Alan Zinsmeister and NFL Hall of Famer James Lofton join me to discuss the legacy of Brad Pye, Jr. who passed away on July 5th of 2020. Pye, Jr. was a pioneer for African-American broadcasters in the City of Angels, setting the stage for the likes of Bryant Gumbel and Jim Hill. Pye's thirty year career included time at the LA Sentinel, as well as at prominent radio stations, like KDAY, KACE and KJLH. He also spent two decades working for the City of Los Angeles.
