Speaker 1 (00:00):
Andrew just said it was that scheduled rest or anything.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
Yeah, just taking care of if you stay, including Tracy,
you have a chance to play this week, or you're
just trying to get him acting him back in.
Speaker 1 (00:10):
No, we'll see what he does. We'll see what he
does today. He's feeling a lot better.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
The longer to ad him with a cap is that's
on the turn.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Everybody's good to go. Tracy would be the one. We'll
see where he's at.
Speaker 3 (00:31):
Excuse me, how do you feel about scat who's touchdown,
the celebration, the backflips?
Speaker 1 (00:37):
How do I feel about him? Should I could do him?
Speaker 3 (00:45):
That something that you're talked to players about with backflips
of just you know, health concerns.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I mean, try to keep their bodies, don't get celebration,
don't get celebration penalties even before or Molik going down.
What has his value been to this team? You know
as a veteran and all the years he's put in, Yeah,
slay is you know, he's been here as long as
(01:10):
I've been here and got a tremendous amount of respect
for him and everything that he's gone through, and he's
a fantastic leader for us. Does everything the right way,
does a really good job in that receiver room, but
also has really done a nice job this year of
really stepping in front of the whole entire room. He's consistent, dependable, tough,
(01:32):
everything you look for in a guy.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
When you look at his career, second in the league
with averaging over fifteen yards per catchp which is pretty impressive.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
Do you think he doesn't get enough credit for how
he contributes overall on the field. Yeah, I certainly think
he's got a lot of value for us. We've got
a lot of respect for him here on our football team.
And he's just a guy that brings his launch pale
to practice every day, does everything he's asked. He's been
a good leader for us.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Theo Johnson got it to the end zone last week.
Just his season sum.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
Yeah, Theo's a you know, second year guy that battled
through some injuries, has a good relationship with with Jackson, Tough, competitive,
It's a good young player.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
Super league, was a huge part of the Offense's got
a very large target shared.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
How much do you look at it.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
As filling that void not just by one guy but
my committee.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Yeah, Malik's a unique guy. We've said that before. Not
many guys like him in the league. Uh, go out
there and anytime it's one on one, you don't have
to have you can show them the ball. So everybody's
gonna have to do their part. All skilled players quarterback
make the right decision. I got a lot of guys
ready to fill in, and everybody's going to have to
(02:52):
do their part.
Speaker 4 (02:55):
From a defense offensive perspective that you know, there's been
a lot of talk about this week about not disguising
too much on the back end, that you guys you
don't do that.
Speaker 5 (03:05):
Do you think the disguising that you guys do upfront
with your personnel kind of counteracts that and gives an
offense something to think about with the way those guys
move around up front.
Speaker 1 (03:17):
Yeah, we look, I'm very confident in our guys defensively,
but it's the front the back end. We do what
we think we need to do each week. That's what
we'll try to do this week.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Has this week been any different with just getting Jackson prepared?
Speaker 3 (03:31):
I mean last week, you know, switching the starter.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
I guess now is he a little calmer? What's he
like this week? Same guy every day? Yeah, young guy
that prepares studies, has energy, comes out, practices the right way.
He's pretty consistent, say, with his preparation, habits, consistent with
his mentality. Same guy every day.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
How does he looking at the ham string this week?
And is it something you even need to keep an
eye on?
Speaker 3 (04:00):
He's looked good? God did not biggering you coaching a
young quarterback? Give me the word one more time in
bigger hitting. Sorry, I like to coach.
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Him and.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
Half since we got him again, there's certainly challenges of
teaching young players and quarterback. Is you know you're always
with him. I think Kafka and Shaye and Chad Hall
have done a really good job with him. But I
enjoy the person, enjoy his competitive nature. He's always trying
(04:37):
to get better. We have good meetings. Again, There'll be
ups and downs. I've said this a number of times,
but you guys certainly enjoy coaching him.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
You have Jackson obviously as your starting quarterback. Now it's
a young player, rookie. You have Cam in a much
bigger role than you know several weeks back. Does it
How much does that provide you guys? Maybe in your mind?
The different energy.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
I think the most important thing. Jordan is playing well.
So everybody doing their job and doing it to the
best of your ability. You know, whether you're a ten
year VET, a rookie, second year guy, you know, we
got we gotta do a good job of just doing
our job.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
I'll tell him. And in the building maybe behind the scenes,
is a field any different with them like thin knowing
that it's obviously they're bigger roles. Dound ye res anymore?
Speaker 1 (05:24):
Yeah, I say, we all go about our business each
and every week to do everything we can do to
get ready to play a game again. Whether you're a rookie,
a VET, a third year guy, a new guy on
the team, coach, you know, you put everything you got
into I don't think you really concern yourself too much
with that. You focus on the things you need to
do each week to play it. Every week's gonna be
(05:45):
a tough games. That's a situation where he might have
to travel separately, or it's not that bad. I don't
think so, Pad. I think I think he's kind of
getting over it right now. Again, we'll we'll practice him today,
We'll let him kind of he's done a little bit
inside with trainers. We're going to bring them out here
but you know, back of what he should be, he
should be good to go,
