Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, we really got to do well stopping the
run first, and I think everything.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Comes off of that. That's how they win, That's how
they win games.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
So the most important thing is stopping the run in
the shots after that and and third down, you know,
stopping Jason from using his legs and things like that.
So that's that's just what it is.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
He's been running more a little bit this year than that.
He's always been a runer, but it seems like he's
been going to it more this year. Do you have
to change the way you rush the quarterback because of that?
Because you don't want to expose those rushing leagues.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
Not necessarily, you just gotta you just gotta know where
he's going to be in the pocket, and you know,
study the tape and and and play off of that.
What do you mean, well, is it fundamentally physically to
prepare for a short weekend and doesn't make much of
a difference studying take division wide when we've played so
well before.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
It's it's kind of a little both.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Uh. You know, you gotta speed you gotta speed your
recovery routine up, you know, like you know.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
Shut me into about three days instead of.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
You know, six, But uh, you know, at the end
of the day, when you step on the field, its time,
it's time to go, It's time for war. And you
know that's the mindset and that's what we've got to
be to go out there on.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
What do you make of a team? Saquon only got
six carries last week? Sometimes and they lost. Sometimes after that,
there's a response where we're going to get our guy
the ball more often?

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Is that something you gotta stopped run? Yeah, we understand
that he is.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
There. Is there anything that you learned about Saquon last
year as an opponent that you maybe not have known
in your years with him as a teammate.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
You said, Kawin Barkley, great running back.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
You know, just got to do well to you know,
attacking his O line and you know, not letting him
get get on our dbs and you know, stay disciplined
in your run lanes.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
And I think we have a good dame.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
His his numbers are not like they were last year
when you've watched them. Do you any reason for that?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Do you think it could be a pleasure things?

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Teams, teams scheming for it happens, But you know, you
don't want to be the team to let them get hot.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
So you gotta stay stay disciplined to Thursday.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
And you know vot if you talk more trash to
him than other running backs when you play, giving your relationship, Yeah, yeah, it's.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
A little bit going back and forth. No I haven't yet. Yeah,
I'm a.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
Wise thank some guys, I mean, guys always have different approaches,
right see the moment on the sun on Thursday night,
and it's you know, you feed into it, big moment,
big big opponent, the lights, everything else.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
You are other guys who are just like you know.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
What, it's just another game that's focusing where do you
falling at? Where do you want to see this team?

Speaker 1 (02:50):
I think just going out and playing like is another game.
You know, just we got to strap up a little
earlier in the week, and that's the most and that's
the only mean that's different. You know, you're still gonna
get You're still gonna sleep the night before, he's still.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
Gonna wake up and put on your past today.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Other game, you know, just just getting ready for earlier,
earlier through the week.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
And I think just taking care of your bodies on
these days are important.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
It's mentally blinding to have a team in your division
like this, who you just they have your number? You
know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
Is it? Is it?

Speaker 4 (03:24):
You don't want to lose any game, but when you
lose repeatedly to a team, does it kind of get
your going even more so to kind of end this?

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Don't?

Speaker 2 (03:34):
You don't, but you're I don't feeling into the.

Speaker 4 (03:37):
Okay, why not? I mean, that's that's a history there,
but it's it's just each game is its own separate
story or something.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
Yeah, those players can't win you the game the next
this game, you gotta go out there.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
And play anybody else. I'll good. You mean about duals
start to the season.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
Obviously he's had, you know, some pretty productive pressures and
done a lot of nice things.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
But he's also if it hasn't been that wild player
to see the guy.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I mean, the more you're around a quarterback, that's positive.
And he's around the quarterback a lot, So you're not
gonna always get the sacks that you want, but you know,
the more you can affect them and allow him to
feel you, that's that's positive and that's what you want,
you know. So he just got to keep going and
don't get wary. And I think that's what he's gonna do.

(04:25):
He understands game day of war day.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
So he got a good mindset talking about that that story.

Speaker 3 (04:32):
Or is there a maturity there within him where he's
already understanding.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Obviously, you got to talk about it a little bit
because you're coming from college where you get all the numbers,
you know, so you know these guys they little selfish.
They're gonna throw that ball last last minute or something.
But it's the way of the game. Man.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
You just got to keep going and.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
You can win fast and he gonna throw the ball,
but it don't matter play. So you just got to
stay honing on your technique and keep grinding.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
Because we hear a lot here about like with Jackson,
gonna be ups and downs.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
He's a rookie. There's a lot to learn.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Is it the same thing with a guy like Abdull
that Look, you're a rookie.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
There's gonna be down. You remember when you were a rookie.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
Day and I just tell him to go, just go
your own defense, just go, And that's what he does.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Jalen, I think it's third or fourth. I think it's
he holds the ball. I think it's the third or
fourth most time wise in the NFL. Do you guys
see that and say there's gonna be some opportunities for
us to get home.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
You definitely see that, and that that makes you have
to be even more disciplined on your wrestling, you know,
because he could he's looking for a way to escape,
or he's looking for a shot down the field. Don't
just stand. Have a motor, keep that motor going all play.
