Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I know you took it. So when you came
off the field, you you were yelling your upset. Obviously
it sounded like you were you said, dropping eight f
ing and then you kind of trailed off, and I
think some people took that as you were frustrated about
dropping eight guys in coverage at the end there. What
what did you mean when you said that in the tunnel?

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I was I was debating whether to even tweet about that,
just because you know, people gonna take whatever you say
however they want to. But you know, just coming off
the coming off the field, right off the field, got
a lot of emotions going on. What I was referring
to is the fact that we called a call specifically
to take away that play and the fact that Nicks

(00:40):
wasn't even trying to throw it to Memes and it
just happened to be completed. It's kind of like a
like a like a disbelief, like, bro, it's no way
that we dropped eight and we still couldn't stop you know,
that ball from getting completed. That's more so what my
frustration lied. It wasn't nothing towards the call, and that's
what I tried to clear up but people going to

(01:02):
feel what they want to feel, So it is what
it is.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
It just seemed a little bit like postgame you in
deck when we asked you about the call, you didn't
really answer something that maybe left it so you were
fine with the call.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
You didn't do you think of the idea? Like people
see that video and they say, hey, you guys aren't
fully on bored of what changes. You know who we are.
But everybody got everybody to take own opinion, you know
what I'm saying. However you view it, whatever your perspective is,
our respect your perspective, you can have that. But we
are bought in. And like that call was perfect for

(01:33):
that situation, just because there was thirty seconds left, no timeouts,
you know, cash tackle, game over. But that ball was
everispposed to be completed, Like it was just it just happened.
Like I just said, brother, the ball wasn't even aiming
for me, It was for courting. He missed the throw
and it just fell in his lap, Like it was
just unlucky.

Speaker 1 (01:55):
Who are you talking about the details or is that
just a matter of executing obviously the ball.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Executing, executing the player, you know, being in the right area,
being body to body. You know, that just comes down,
that just comes down to you know, like you just said,
executing the play, like being more detail oriented. You know,
everybody can improve in that, in that in that realm.
And we we found where where where the whole God

(02:20):
damn it, hey Moose, we found where we could have
been better at in that situation. And it's just for
us to, you know, next time we get in that situation,
be more on our details.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So what do you think of the idea?

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Shamee's taking a lot of heat here the last few weeks.
What do you think of that?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
It's tough, tough situation to be in. It's not really
nothing I can think about. It's just what it is.
What it is. At the end of the day, we
got something that we gotta have our attention on it.
That's the Eagles. So hopefully Shane ain't too caught up
in all that stuff that people are saying. I'm not
trying to look at it, trying to look at you
and Jayleen her aj Brown just a discussion with him, though.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Did you talk about this with him you think it
was necessary?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
No?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
What was his message to the defense this week?

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Oh, like I just told y being better, being better
in those critical moments, you know, at the end of
a half, in the game two minutes. Those are situations
where you can't allow your mental uh to waiver. You
can't allow you know, your details to waive. You need
to fall back in your technique. And that's kind of
what he's preaching to us, is like, in those situations,
we got to be at our best.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
So anything different in the Eagles offense against the Vikings
last week, they kind of blew up and at their
first pick passing game of the year.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Obviously they got that passing game going. You know, the
Vikings have a unique defense, so they were able to
you know, I guess figure out the looks and you know,
explore them in different ways. But it was all pretty simple.
But it was a decent connection between Aj and Javin
this year ars per game, yards per carry everything.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Yeah, you look at the film and energy see the
reason why that is? Or do you see the same
he used to be.

Speaker 2 (04:05):
He's definitely the same third he used to be. I
don't think it's any slacking his talent or anything of that. Nah.
I don't know what's going on in that building, So
I'm not gonna speak on that. But to answer a question,
there's no slack in his game. So I don't know
why his numbers are down. It's just maybe just the year.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Where are you at physically? Are you good to go
for Sunday? The way you guys lost that game was
obviously really uncommon, right, It doesn't happen, right. So that's
so there's losses and then there's losses like that, right,
how do you avoid that loss being emotionally crippling for
this team and carrying over?

Speaker 2 (04:42):
But one, like I said, learning from new mistakes. We
watched the film we've seen where where we messed up
at you know, after that game like that, Like you said,
it was a little heartbreak loss. It was very different,
I say, really just not dwelling on what we could
have did what we should have? Did you know it happened?

(05:05):
Learn from it and be better in the next situation. Honestly,
that's all you can do.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
If dudes, sack numbers aren't what some people expected. But
you guys, obvious see how much he crouches the quarterback
and gets to the eyes. So seven games and how
would you assess what he's doing so far as a
rookie running the ropes and doing what he's done so far.

Speaker 2 (05:21):
He's doing what we actually do a duel as is
a great talent. I mean obviously, like you just said,
the numbers isn't there, but they're gonna come. And I'll
be telling him that, just keep his head down and
keep doing what you've been doing. Like you're getting pressure.
You're winning, it's not like you're losing. So you know,
the sacks are come. They come in bunches, and I've
just kind of been trying to keep his head straight
on neck, keep his head, you know, clear of everything else.

(05:44):
But demand's the talent, like he's gonna be something special.
He's gonna be something special, and I can't wait till
his numbers start showing what he can actually do. You
probably still getting to the.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Quarterback, so it's still some positives there right where you're
able to get to the quarterback and affect until you
build the sacks aren't.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
There, right, Yeah, for sure. I mean in the quarterback.
Like I said, you can afect the quarterback in many ways,
and he's doing that. It's just the numbers isn't there yet,
but they're coming
