Speaker 1 (00:00):
Trying to get some carries yesterday after practice.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Some carries when you were working with the guys on
the field.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Oh no, no, no, not carries. No speaking.

Speaker 3 (00:12):
If you saw Chad obviously playing fall back, what is
it like seeing another line and I guess getting that
rope hitting somebody from a different capacity.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Opportunity.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Man, love to see a guy you know who's been
working his butt off to you find his position on
the team and he's just getting more and more opportunities.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
Alrighty nice.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
How much have you learned in terms of this this
kind of limbo week of the week after the preseason
and you kind of you know, no one I don't
know about you, but no one wants to talk about
Washington yet and you're just kind of focusing on yourselves.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
What is it like for your man, I'm talking about Washington? No,
you know, no, super super excited though.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Man.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
I think this is you know, I call it like
zero week, where it's just time to grind. You kind
of find what you're made of. You find tuning all
the things, You figure out what you need to get
better at in the next you know, an Now it's
probably twelve days or whatever, but you just keep working man,
this is definitely the time to keep building on the
foundation from training, camping, preseason.

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Do you think it feel different to you now going
into this year maybe than your other years to here
with the Giants, Miville team field.

Speaker 1 (01:14):
You know, super excited.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
I mean this is the first week, you know, everybody's
first you know, part of the season is always exciting,
so we just want to kind of keep that momentum.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
Offen of scores thirty points game in the preseason. I
know it's the preseason, but all your career here it's
been a struggle to score. Does Dad give the defensive
fire that you might be past rushing up definitely?

Speaker 1 (01:34):
Definitely.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
You know when you put up points and you go
up in the first half, that's more opportunities to pass us.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
So you know, we're looking our chops. We're excited.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
Came on obviously the other side of the ball, but
you drafted the year before Tommy got here.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Just regardless of what happens tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Can you talk about what it's been like watching the
Tommy the video experience here?

Speaker 1 (01:51):
Man?

Speaker 2 (01:51):
It was dope, you know, him coming in when he
did and one of those games definitely brought some fire
to the team super you know, grateful and excited for
his journey and decided to have been a part of it.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
When you did the wrestling of the ALF season, I'm
curious how long did it take the kind of master
some of those techniques.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
You Well, I wouldn't say anything as a master, but
I would definitely say, you know, it took me about
a month to start to you know, hone in on
the technique, and then now it's taking another month to
kind of translate it to football.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
And now that you have it, if you see it
kind of.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Translated definitely, and my movement is my techniques, my energy
for sure.

Speaker 5 (02:28):
Who recommended that to you?

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Uh, nobody. I just kind of thought of it on
my own. What is the I don't know.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
If you want to pick a number, I'm going to
pick a number. Could this be a top five defense?
A top three defense? Like, how do you look at
the ceiling for this defense?

Speaker 1 (02:41):
For the whole team?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
You know, we're trying to win the Super Bowl, so
I think you know, from the coaching staff, from the
front office all the way down, I think you know
we are all steams ahead on win the Super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So super excited, super grateful for the opportunity. We're just
gonna keep working, taking it one day, one week, one
game at a time. You guys are going to each
other and practice is one thing.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
But when the pass rush has the success that it
did against the Jets, did that make you all three
of you guys or the whole group of you up
the front kind of look around and be like, man,
we can be something really special this year if we
if we set our minds or something like that.

Speaker 2 (03:15):
Yeah, I mean really, all through camp, I think the excitement,
the energy is there because we all got personal goals.
And I think the more we continue to gel together
and face other teams and go through these battles and
these trials and tribulations, We're going to continue to grow.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
And you know, like you said a minute ago, it's preseason,
it's optimism time. It's you know, the fun, fun season.
Do you feel like what you just said, winning the
super Bowl is more realistic and or taking the d
player front is more realistic at this time this year
than years past? Or is that how you feel like
at this point everything?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
I feel you know, I feel like we're I'm going
to win a team, and we're a winning team every year.

Speaker 1 (03:50):
But obviously, you.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Know, the the rosters different, the coaching staff different, the
energy's difference in new year.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
You know, no year is the same in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
So I'm super excited about this one.

Speaker 3 (04:02):
I know you said you came up with the restlinger
on your own, But what did you see that made
you think that that could translate, you know.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
Making tackles.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
That's really it's not really to nothing really super deep
about it.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
I mean, wrestlers literally tackle people to the ground, like
that's the whole goal. So it's like just.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Learning just seeing that the part of my game that
I wanted to elevate was the finish and that's kind
of the start to a wrestling match.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
So it's just kind of like just watching it. Yes,
just watching it.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
Is that better for past fresh moves or the wrestling?

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Is that better for pass fresh moves?

Speaker 5 (04:35):
Or is that better for getting running backs to the ground.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Both running backs, quarterbacks, anybody who has the ball. I
think it's understanding leverage and just translating you know, your eyes,
your hips, your shoulders to the you know, attack point.
