That's just the nature of the game. We're playing football
at the end of the day. Obviously you want everybody
to be safe. What the reality is, there are injuries,
Things happen, and I trust the trains to make the
you know, the right decision for him to return when
he's ready, and then we'll do our best to protect them.

You've played with Daniel who had that come up quite
a bit too. Is like, when do you slide when
you got to take better care? Is that just something
guys learn as the older they get.

Speaker 1 (00:23):
I think it's a lot easier said than done. Like
you're competing, you know, to your best of ability, You're
trying to get the first down. Whatever's happening. I think
it is harder to you to pull back sometimes and
sometimes it is necessary. I think, like you said, as
it gets older, he will learn.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
What do you make of the Alliance defense?

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Yeah, physical front we were talking about because we put
in short yarders today, they're top of the NFL in
short yards days stopped. Phillies push multiple times like they're
a physical front, so we have to be prepared for that.
And then they they've had some injuries, so they've been
presenting a few different fronts that were communicat on just

continuity you guys have had upfront and how that's been
helping you guys. You last ye weeks, do you see
that just.

Kind of with you guys has been playing really well.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Yeah, definitely experience group, but this is probably the first
time in a lot that we've played together multiple games
in a row, and I think everybody's done a good
job of just jailing, communicating and just playing the type
of football that we want to play.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
The youngest guy on that group, I mean it's a
veteran group. The youngest guy, Schmidts, who it seemed like,
you know, was up and down his first two years,
maybe has found a little you tell me, but it
seems like maybe he's found a little bit of a
groove as a thirty year guy.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Yeah, I think Sorts has done a great job for us.
He does a lot of heavy lifting in our system.
He makes the hite points to IDs, the front declaration,
and then obviously you got to execute, you gotta block.
But I think he's done a good job of improving
his technique. He's always had the will and want to

a good job with his technique improving this year.
