Speaker 1 (00:00):
When you guys look back at the film, obviously that
that fourth quarter six out, but just that last drive
you guys led with Jackson, I mean, just kind of
looking back at it, just how impressed were you with
how Jackson kind of you know, showed some poise on
that last drive.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Yeah, I thought you did a great job handling the pressure.
Obviously tough environment to play in and you know, too
many drive to win the game. I thought he did
a good job executing. You go back and watch the film.
There's definitely some things we can clean up as an offense,
but I thought all the guys for hard.
Speaker 1 (00:35):
And then as an offensive line, you guys that obviously
gotten better each and every week. It seems license you've
come back for three quarters. You guys seem like you
did a really good job kind of limiting this this
Denver defense. Does that feel like something you guys can
build on, even in the fourth quarter they start to
get a little bit more pressure a.
Speaker 2 (00:50):
Little bit well, I would say early on in the game,
just watching film, there's some things we can clean up,
especially in the run game, some of our play action stuff.
And then going later to the game, I think just communication,
they brought a lot of pressure, you know, just communication
between us, the backs, receivers and hots and things like that,
(01:12):
just to make sure we're all on the same page.
Speaker 3 (01:15):
Thank you as hey, Andrew, you doing good. Good as a.
Speaker 4 (01:22):
Feel, I mean, there was a lot of attention to
your matchup with the Benito going into this game. He
let was leading the league in sacks, and you certainly
lined up for him across from him, but he also.
Speaker 3 (01:32):
Went to the other side at times. What it goes
through your.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Mind as a as a run you know, a running
pass protector and blocker, when the sack leader is against
you and then he tries maybe his luck on the
other side.
Speaker 3 (01:45):
Of the line.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Yeah, the beauty of planning offensive line is we have
to play, you know, a complete game. Obviously he's a
great pass rusher and they you know, they're leading the
league in sacks. But each play my mindset is to
win my rep use my technique regardless of who's in
front of me, because we have to play you know,
complete game.
Speaker 4 (02:05):
Do you notice that when the game's going on, you know,
he's there, he's there, he's there, and now someone else is.
Speaker 3 (02:09):
There and he's over there.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, you definitely notice, you know when you're looking across,
but especially with that environment as loud as it was, like,
I'm more focused on what's the cadence, what's you know,
what's the call, who's the mic? And then after that,
you know, I'm just trusting my technique. You don't really
have a ton of time to think about, you know,
who's lined up across from you.
Speaker 4 (02:27):
When when you know in your long rehab and obviously
you couldn't do a lot of running or any running
for a while, things like that.
Speaker 3 (02:36):
Is there anything you did that you think is helping
you now as far.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
As your upper body, or your your mind or your
game plan, you know, or your physical presence that maybe
is helping now that you're you know, your lower f
is now where.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
It should be.
Speaker 2 (02:50):
I would say in the off season, I did a
ton of upper body stuff. That's all I could do
for a while. I don't know if it's helping or not,
but I feel like I look stronger.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
I mean, do you feel like you're playing stronger? I mean,
you're you're you're you know, the metrics that people.
Speaker 4 (03:03):
Are analyzing offensive Linement with are basically saying you're playing
off the charts right now.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Yeah, I really try not to get too caught up
into that. Like I said, there's so many things I
need to clean up, and the offense, you know, we
need to clean up. So I just you know, trying
to have that mindset and everything else will fall into place.
Speaker 3 (03:20):
But do you feel stronger? You know it's a leaning
on you know, leaning on another man's you know, profession.
Speaker 4 (03:26):
Feel do you feel it sometimes that you're just physically stronger?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I wouldn't say much different from you know, years prior.
I think just making sure my technique is right and
because those guys are you know, they're strong and fast
as well. I think it's more about technique and understanding
my assignment. Thank you appreciate it.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
Aren't stable? Ten? Hey, Drew, what's going on?
Speaker 2 (03:49):
How you doing?
Speaker 5 (03:51):
Apologies because I jumped on late, so I don't know
if you even addressed any of this. But my question
wouldn't be you know, you've been here long enough where
the old cliche about having to learn how to win,
to win games, to be able to put you know,
put games away. I'm just curious what that what that
means to you that when someone says that to you,
(04:12):
and do you buy it?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
Do you do you think that there is something.
Speaker 5 (04:16):
The level of each individual team having to figure out,
you know, what to do when the game.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Is on the line.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah, I honestly don't think it's a secret sauce to winning.
I think it's execution in moments that matter. That's that's
really what it comes down to. And you don't make
those players, you lose. So we just got to figure
out a way how to how to do that. You know,
when it's when the game is on the line, execute,
do your job, and that's how you win.
Speaker 5 (04:44):
Is there any difference going in now you're seeing the
team for a second time, you're used to this, you
play in this division. I'm just curious how much do
you guys take from two weeks ago.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, we'll definitely go back. We'll definitely go back, you know,
watch the game and they'll definitely have uh adjustments for us,
and and we'll have some new things in as well.
But like you said, the divisional opponent, we know who
we're going against, they know us. Is just about like
I said earlier, execution
