Speaker 1 (00:00):
But Jack and obviously what was going for your mom's.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Kind of Yeah, I was devastated. It's my boy man,
so seeing him go down and obviously like reacting to
to what happened and.
Speaker 3 (00:25):
That just that sucks. It's it's the worst part of
this camp.
Speaker 1 (00:30):
Did you.
Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, of course, I'm gonna keep that between us.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
How doest you guys try to keep playing? And obviously
this was just for that drive to try to keep
going after losing scrib.
Speaker 3 (00:48):
I mean, you know during you know, him getting carted off.
Speaker 2 (00:53):
Uh, it's emotional, but you try to go back in
the huddle and try to uh just reload and you know,
just try to go down the score. No, not at
all to keep losing weapons.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
Right, I mean you believe now, Cam, I mean, obviously
make muchper for you guys and teams you just play niggas.
What's that been like for you?
Speaker 3 (01:26):
Try not to think of it like that.
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Just no, I gotta keep making plays and you know,
do my job to put our team in the best situation.
You know, obviously it's not ideal and it stings, and.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
You know there's more.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
People in the rotation, but uh, you know, I got
I gotta be better too. And making more plays and
you know, putting us in a good situation to win.
Speaker 1 (01:54):
You just played that two weeks ago. What did they
do differently in the matchup?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Did you get a job? Did a really good job?
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Just kind of changed it up on us from what
they did game one and they played sound and yeah,
I thought that, you know, they had they had a
good plan for us coming into the game offensively and defensively.
So you definitely got to give them credit for for
their plan the second half to want to keep you
(02:26):
in the pocket, kept their outside guys.
Speaker 1 (02:29):
Why how much changed anything for you?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
I just think that's just kind of what the plan
is for most teams going forward.
Speaker 3 (02:38):
Uh, the Broncos did it too, So.
Speaker 2 (02:41):
Yeah, they stayed disciplined in their gaps and I just
thought that they played.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
They played a good.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Game and keep.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
No, I'm not ever gonna quit. I don't care what
the situation is. If I'm on that field, I'm playing
as hard as I can. So I'm gonna try to
lead the best that I can. I have the same
expectation every time we go out on the field and
try to preach that to the guys, so you know,
when when when we step through the lines. We should
be competing and and playing as hard as we can.
Speaker 3 (03:23):
Every time.
Speaker 2 (03:26):
Jackson Son of your teammates say, you can tell how
much Jackson hates to lose. You're new here, some of
your teammates have experienced a lot of looser here.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
How does that mentality you have to need the transcends.
Speaker 2 (03:44):
We gotta start figuring out ways to win, because I
do I I I hate it and I'm not used
to it, and I'm not I'm not just gonna accept it.
I'm not gonna be okay with it, and we as
a team can't be okay with it. And we gotta
figure figure this out. You've seen right now as are
(04:07):
emotionally in a way?
Speaker 1 (04:12):
Is there anything that this one that just a little bit.
Speaker 2 (04:20):
I felt like, honestly, I felt like we kind of
got I'm trying to say it's that way. I thought
they did just a lot more things better than we
did in a lot of areas. And I don't like
(04:42):
the feeling of I thought they really kind of dominated
most of the game. And it's kind of it's it's
an embarrassing feeling. So that's just kind of how I feel.
And it's just it's It's frustrating because you know, I
felt confident coming into this game, and you know, I felt,
(05:06):
you know, obviously extra motivated because of how things happened
last last week. And you know, I really you know,
didn't want one to lead to another. So just you know,
disappointed that we.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Lost last week. So how you how you manage the
lad right now? Uh?
Speaker 2 (05:27):
I mean hopefully you know, it just motivates everybody more,
you know, throughout the whole facility. You know, it's just
it's not just the players, it's not just the coaches,
it's it's everybody. So I hope everybody you know can
be more and more motivated to get better, to try
to take you know, another step in your preparation and
how you lead. And uh, you know that goes for
(05:48):
me too. You know, I have to take accountability because
you know, I need to be way better. And you know,
fair or unfair a quarterback is judged by you know,
your wins and losses. So we gotta we got we
gotta bounce back. And I feel confident in the guys,
and uh, you know that's what we're gonna do.
Speaker 1 (06:14):
Is this a feeling?
Speaker 2 (06:25):
Oh, this is this is all fresh? So I know'll,
you know, I'm still gonna be frustrated, you know, tomorrow
about it. But like I said, I hope it's just
motivating for everybody. It's gonna be motivating for me to
be better. And uh, I mean the overall feeling is
I just I hate losing, and everybody here hates losing,
(06:46):
and we gotta figure out how to start winning
