Speaker 1 (00:00):
Any Christmas Christmas Eve traditions where you got anything.

Speaker 2 (00:05):
Yeah, just like Mells is kind of the big one.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
My mom makes like the best crescent roles and they're
all out here right now. So it's gonna be cool
to have, you know, our first Christmas in New York
and be as as a family.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
So just excited that they're out here for it. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:21):
Yeah, I went and saw the tree. It's my first
time seeing it. I did think it was gonna be
a little bigger than what it was, but.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
It was cool to see that, you know, iconic tree.

Speaker 4 (00:31):
How many we you have getting together? Family one?

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Just the seven of us?

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Yeah, for six of us, sorry, six of us.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
What's what's your feel about kind of the bounce back
after I know you were disappointed on Sunday and just
kind of you haven't really had a game like that.
How have you approached this week and how much are
you looking forward to getting back out again.

Speaker 3 (00:54):
Yeah, obviously you look back at the tape, look at
the things that you can correct you at the same time, like,
you know, I know that you know the kind of
player I am, Like I'm gonna bounce back, Like you know,
I think everybody in their careers is going to have,
you know, a game that they're unhappy about. But you know,
I've done some really good things too, And I know

(01:15):
that you know my work ethic and you know my
ability to perform.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
I you know, I don't doubt that at all.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
So I'm excited to have that opportunity and play close
close to home.

Speaker 4 (01:24):
You have like you know, like any of the two
veteran quarterbacks come up to you to say stuff since
they've been through everything.

Speaker 1 (01:30):
Obviously times.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
Did those guys that say anything you after that career
in the in between Sunday and today just about about
you know, hey, I've been through ten of those things.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Yeah, no doubt you know that they've they've been through
it all. They've played at the very highest level and
have had bad games as well, so you know, to
get their perspective, and obviously you know, have the urgency
to clean up some you know, mistakes you know here
and there, but this same time, like you know, also
don't like overreact to it, like you know, you know,

(02:05):
keep playing your game, and you know there's there's a
lot of really good things uh this year to to
continue to stack on and you know, excited for another opportunity,
and I think it's great.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
You know, uh, this league's week to week, so it's.

Speaker 3 (02:17):
A quick turnaround for us and you know be able
to go execute and play the high level.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
Is there anything you would like to do more of it,
whether it's run, uh, pass, throw the ball down the
field that maybe you haven't had the opportunity these last
few weeks.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Definitely love all that stuff.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So you know, you just go back and communicate with
the coaching staff and you know, have those conversations and
you know, just excited for for this week and like
I said, like you know, being able to to clean
up on some things individually, and you know, just like
as an offense, you know.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Try to just do our best to get back and
seek you.

Speaker 5 (02:55):
Would you say those things that you want to run,
throw deep and all our coaching staff is great and
they've been great, you know from the moment that I
got here, you know, with that communication and you know,
I know that like as a rookie sometimes it's not
always the case, but you know, to have those.

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Conversations and those heart to hearts, you know, it's something
that I definitely respect.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
You see a difference in the way you're being handled
post concussion and is it do you feel restricted in
any way? There was a post that you know, it
was your account life that kind of stated that point.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (03:29):
I mean I just I have, you know, all the
confidence in this coaching staff and you know, and and
and their ability to you know, you know, put me
out there and put me in good situations. You know,
there's there's definitely things that you know, I need to
improve on myself. So you know, I definitely take accountability,
you know, when it comes to mistakes here and there.

(03:51):
But you know, I think that offensively, you know, for
the most part this year, like we've done, you know,
some really good things.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
So you know, I think for us.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Just having communication and being on the same page with
things is huge and then going out there and executing
at a high level.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
Ye how much good?

Speaker 1 (04:08):
How much would it mean for you to help onand'll
get to that A thousand yard market?

Speaker 3 (04:12):
Yeah, it's huge, you know, just a milestone in his career.
And you know, I think that he you know, told
me that you know, there's a statistic of of something
you know, in his size, you know, nobody's ever done before,
so you know, really looking forward to going out there
competing with him. He's a great player and has done
you know, amazing and and uh has been a guy

(04:34):
who you know, I love playing with just you know,
his ability to compete you know, each and every play,
and you know does such a great job of leading
and working hard and you know making place. So you know,
definitely gonna you know, do my part to help him.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Actually with with with Mike Kafka, I mean, obviously the
early part was was the relationship with him? Was it
as an OC? What's it been like in your eyes
as a head coach? Obviously your first year players, you
don't have a lot to compare to, but you know,
you know, as it has it been different with him
as a head coach with you personally between the two
of you, guys or remain fairly the same.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
I mean, nothing to like nothing has really changed too much.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
You know for him, he has you know, more of
a responsibility for you know, all three phases of the game.
So from like a time standpoint, you know, you definitely
you know lean on you know the other coaches, so
you know, from a conversation standpoint, you know there's maybe
been just like a little bit of a difference, but
he's still priority is is uh, you know, the quarterback
and the offense.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
So we still have great conversations and you know, I
love playing.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
With him, and obviously you want to win a game.
Everybody who that locker want to win a game for
your for yourselves. Uh, he's has not won a game
as the interim coach yet. Is there an element in
there you think amongst you guys that wants to get
him that first win?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
Yeah, I just you know, we're sickle who's in. So
you know we definitely are you know, just wanting to
get that failing back and you know it's hard to
you know, go week to week and have these close
games where you know you put in a ton of
hard work and uh, you know, things just haven't you know,
really paid off for us this year.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
So you definitely want to play hard for him and
just

Speaker 3 (06:14):
As a locker room from a morale standpoint, like it'll
be huge for us to, you know, these last two
weeks to give everything we can to to try to
go get a one
