Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey, Tyrone, how are you doing, Patty?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm doing well, Thanks for asking, Tyrone. At last check,
the Giants rushing game was ranked tenth in the league.
Can you just talk about the progress that unit is
made and also the job done by the offensive line
in terms of the run blocking.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Yeah, I mean the office line has been doing a
phenomenal job.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Obviously, you got every team has their own tricks that
they try to come out with each game, try to
get us with and our aline does they do a
good job of just you know, blocking who needs to
be block having had in my hat and then you know,
making the lane for the running backs, whether it's me, Motor,
Motor or Scott. So I definitely commend the Office of
Line on the job that they've done up to this point.

(00:41):
And the I also want to you know, tip my
hat to the to the Office of Line Coach, running
back coach TK, the Titans coach U officer coordinator because
they come up with a with a great run scheme
each and every week, allowing us to put a little
wrinkles here and there, you know, like I said, whether
it's on the outside zone and the enside zone, on
her whatever it may be. They do a great job of,

(01:03):
you know, getting a ball into our playmakers and also
having a good rescue up each week.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
And can you just speak briefly about your contribution to
the running game. I mean, it looks like you're having
a pretty good year, and you know, do you just
feel more comfortable? I mean, what what do you think
attribute you know, your success to this year.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
Oh yeah, I mean to be honest, I feel, you know,
the same that I felt last year. It's really no different. Yeah,
I'm I'm a little more comfortable. But I feel like
the market the ball are better the better I play.
So you know, if you give me the ball, you know,
twenty plus times, I should give you one hundred yards,

(01:41):
whether it's you know, passing, receiving, just scrimmage wise.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Just that's just me in my head.

Speaker 3 (01:47):
That's my my goal each and every game. If I
if you're going to give a playmaker the ball, which
I do believe I'm a playmaker, I want to be
able to.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Give positive yards to the offense.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
So I think my my running style compliments are on
line as well. I think I look at myself as
like a slasher. I'm not really a thumper, but I
will turn to a thumper if needed. But yeah, I
think look at myself as a slasher. I like to
make moves, you know, may people miss get vertical pretty quickly.

Speaker 1 (02:16):
Like I said, I think that that really helps out
our our line. Thank you, Thank you.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
Evan Barnes, Hey turn, how you doing man? How you
doing good?

Speaker 4 (02:28):
Good?

Speaker 2 (02:29):
With three games left.

Speaker 5 (02:30):
I know a lot of you know, outside noises talked
about you know, oh, you know, we're at the Giants
falling draft position, looking at the number one paig. But
obviously you guys are focusing on one game at a time.
So I'm just curious, how do you guys as a
team not worry about that or even think about that,
because obviously there's a lot of outside chatter about, you know,
focusing on you know, draft position and whatnot.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
Yeah, I mean, to be honest with you, it's just
taking a day by day. We don't really look at
you know, three games ahead or you know, three weeks ahead.
More so just taking it week by week, day by day,
you know, whatever is important in the moment, like what's
what what are we doing right now? Where your feet
are at, be where your feet is at, So like
we try not to look to tomorrow, just try to
continue to stay present and then understand that, like we

(03:13):
can't even get to you know, week three without taking
care of you know, week one, you know, so we
have to do the things necessary to you know, stay
in the moment with our brothers, with the coaching staff,
understanding that we have to you know, go out and
win this week so we can get to next week.
But we can't get to next week without obviously winning
this week. So that's really that's really how we do it. Again,

(03:35):
we have a we have a tight knit bond our
locker room. Everyone is on the running the same track,
running the same way. So I mean, I don't think
that anybody is uh looking elsewhere.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
We all are, like I said, looking towards the next game.

Speaker 5 (03:52):
And it feels like to these last especially you know,
this last game, we feel that you guys are obviously
after that bad first time you guys were competing got
you know, had a much better second half, so even
though the loser streaks added up, it feels like the
team is still competing, still trying to fight. He speaks
just kind of like how you've noticed that that that
and from the guys you know, outside of that, papers
game where it was out of hand. But do you
do you speak to the ends you've seen from these

(04:14):
guys still competing, still.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Fighting, Yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
I mean if you look at every game that we've
been in really besides I will say a few games,
but every game we have competed, I mean not even
like compete.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
We've been winning these games.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
We just obviously the ball just haven't rolled our way
towards the end of the end of the game. But
when you, like you look at the film, when you
look at the stats, so you look at really everything,
like we are going out there and we're hooping like
we're doing. We're doing everything that we can to win
the game. And that's not gonna change going forward. I mean,
like you said, in the first half, obviously we didn't

(04:47):
play play well, but we went in to have tim regroup,
calm down a little bit, you know, encourage each other,
and then come out second half and again come out
ready to compete. And that's what's gonna happen each and
every game. Like we're not We're never gonna go out
in in try to lose, or we're not going to
just you know, throw a game away like we can.
We're going out there to win, like point blank period,
like I don't, I don't. We don't care what the

(05:08):
outside has to say about draft Pip. We don't care
about what they have to say about you know, players
in college that you know.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
That we should get or we could get.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
We were about, you know, the coach that we have
right now, the players that we have right now, and
the position that and the opportunities that we get to
to have when we go out there on the field.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Appreciate that, Tyrone, Thank you, Thank you.

Speaker 1 (05:28):
Hi Valentine, how you doing. I'm good.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Hey.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
I wanted to ask you. You had the nice touchdown
catch on Sunday, and obviously you were a wide receiver
in college. Is there is there an adjustment too? Obviously
catching the ball is catching the ball, but is it
different you know as a running back maybe the angles
the ball comes from, the routes that you have to run.

(05:53):
Is there an adjustment to catching the ball as a
running back?

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Uh?

Speaker 1 (05:58):
Nah, not really.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
I mean I was a receiver before, so I mean
I hadn't seen it at all, Honestly high school and
in college, I didn't.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
You know, I don't ran slant routes.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
I don't ran go balls.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
I don't. I didn't did everything.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
So it's really not nothing that the you know, the
quarterback can throw or the office and coordinator can put
me in that I haven't seen already or haven't ran
a round or whatever. But yeah, I mean, obviously I'm
excited to be able to have an opportunity to go
out there and just take care of business man show
really the fans, but also the coaching staff that like,
you know, I can I can run around, I can

(06:34):
catch about down the field, and you know, the more you.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Can do in this league, obviously, the more valuable you become.

Speaker 4 (06:39):
Just last thing for me, any over the last three games,
any real you know, personal goals, milestones, anything that you'd
really like to hit over the last three games.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
I mean not not really like goals, like I said, obviously,
like I want as as many yards as possible.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
I mean I don't I don't even know where I'm at,
to be honest, I don't really look at it. I
don't know like my stats and all that.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
But yeah, I mean, as long as we win, man,
I really don't care what my stat line is man,
to be honest, as long as we win, I just
want to make sure that.

Speaker 1 (07:09):
You know, we take care of his.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
First game, the Vikings, and then obviously we trickle down
to the last two. But yeah, I read stats wise
for me. I mean, it's it's nothing. I don't I
don't care, thank you.

Speaker 5 (07:23):
Last one, Peter Splendorio, Hey, Tyrone, I want to ask
you just I guess about Andrew Thomas.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
You know, obviously he's kind of had a weird season
just with missing the start and then kind of building
up gradually.

Speaker 5 (07:35):
But because he's gone on, I mean, how has he
looked to you as he has he looked like him himself?

Speaker 1 (07:39):
And at what point, if so, did.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
He kind of get there?

Speaker 1 (07:42):
How did he look to you?

Speaker 3 (07:44):
Because I mean, I mean I think to the to
the general public, that boy's a monster. So I feel
like that's a that's just a common common sense. When
you look at his film and you watch it, you
see him dominate, Like am I he the best left
tackle in the league? Like that the man came out
of injury, came back like nothing, nothing happened, you know, So, uh,

(08:05):
that's really hard to do in this league. And mind you,
he's on the island nine nine percent of the time,
like he's not getting no help from guards or chip
from me or anything like. It's just him versus that
d N and he taking care of business, run game
and pass game. So to answer your question, man, I
think the dude is are all Pro Like, he's a
first team All Pro. He should get Pro Bowl like

(08:27):
all these accolades that that come with you know, that
come with the job, especially at the level that he's playing.
He deserves it. He at deserves everything that that's come
in his way for sure.
