Speaker 1 (00:00):
How is being back here for year two? How is
it different here?

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Like a year ago at this time you didn't even
know what team you were gonna be on, So, like,
how is it different here coming into the building year tube,
especially with a totally different secondary with Holland.

Speaker 1 (00:14):
And the debo.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Oh it's been great, man.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
Definitely definitely a lot more comfortable than you know, coming
in with like a rookie with his head cut off down,
not really knowing what's going on, you know, kind of
just running around trying to.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
Figure it out.

Speaker 4 (00:26):
But definitely definitely feels good to be bagging around the guys,
especially the new guys.

Speaker 3 (00:30):
You know, I think they're gonna be great additions for us.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
But how are you doing?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
If memory serves, you missed the last three or four
games of last season injured?

Speaker 1 (00:40):
How are you health wise? Do you think you'll be
on the field at all this spring?

Speaker 3 (00:44):
Like?

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Where are you at?

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah? I'm doing good, man, I'm getting better every single day.
You know.

Speaker 4 (00:49):
The staff has been amazing here at training staff with
you know, getting me you know, back to feeling good.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
So definitely definite getting better every day.

Speaker 1 (00:58):
Thanks Jordan ran On, Hey Tyler, how you doing man?

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I'm doing good real quick.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Did you have a procedure or anything of the sort.

Speaker 3 (01:08):
Yeah, I did, yeah, at the end of the season,
and uh.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
Everything has coind of came along find from there.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
Oh yeah, yeah, surgery went great. You know, the doctors
that that they handled it really great. And uh, trains
that has been been really good, you know, with the
recovery process, rehab processes as.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Well, so you don't expect to miss any time. You're
you're good to get up kind of deal.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Uh yeah, I'm still you know, in the process of
you know, getting better, you know, still attacking the rehab
every single day right now.

Speaker 5 (01:35):
What I really wanted to ask you, I'm curious what
did you think about when you heard that Javon signs
ready here adding another safety next to you.

Speaker 1 (01:43):
What did you know of about him? And what have
you come to learn about him?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
Yeah, I've actually it's funny, I've actually been been watching
Javon for a while since I was in college, just
because I feel like, you know, me and me and him,
we we kind of have similar play styles, uh, similar
body types.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
You know.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
He's a longer, you know, you know, bigger guy, so
and I've always just been a fan of his game,
so you know, I was excited to hear that he
was gonna be, you know, part of our team for sure.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
That's what I'm kind of curious about.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
That you do have sort of similar body types and
skill sets that it kind of makes you in a
way I would I would think the defense should help
in that you're interchangeable.

Speaker 3 (02:19):
Right right, exactly?

Speaker 4 (02:19):
Yeah, I feel like, yeah, we definitely definitely have similar
skill sets that we could you know, play off of
each other for sure.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
What's going on? Go see man?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Same year? First off, you got a new digits for
this year? Did I see see that?

Speaker 3 (02:41):
Right? Yeah? I did, Yes, sir? Yeah, twenty seven.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
That means something to you, doesn't it?

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah? Definitely, Man.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
This last year was the first time I ever wore
anything other than twenty seven of my whole football career.
That's definitely definitely something that that that means a lot.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
To me for sure.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
What is the meeting behind it?

Speaker 4 (03:02):
So twenty seven actually started originally with my my uncle,
uncle Steve. He actually he played cornerback at the University
of Michigan oppositely Charles Woodson in college back in ninety four.
He passed away like ten twelve years ago, so you know,
that's that's really important to me. And he actually, my

(03:22):
dad and his other brother they also wore twenty seven
in college too, and they didn't even plan it. They
all went to three different colleges, all ended up picking
twenty seven. So it's kind of kind of like a
family number. And you know, I definitely, you know, it's
it's honored to be able to bring it to the
NFL for the first time.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Oh good man, thanks, wow, Paul Schwartz.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Tyler, How I'm doing good? What aout? You very good?

Speaker 6 (03:49):
You know, obviously there's a lot of draft speculation, you know,
I mean you're behind that right, that's in your rearview mirror.
But you played in the league, in the in the
conference with Andre Carter. What kind of players and you know,
if you guys get him, you know what what could
he hit through defense?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
You think, Yeah, he's a great player, man.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
I mean you guys see it. What what he can
do on the tape. Man, He's a He's a special
kind of guy. I think, you know, anybody that gets
him is going to begin a great player for sure.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
What do you what do you think about pass rushers
in general?

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Some some some you know, if they make your job easier,
right if you know, can you have too many of
them or is it like, you know, the.

Speaker 1 (04:22):
More they want to bring in, the better and it
makes sure you're on the back end.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yeah, I feel like they definitely go hand in hand.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
Man. Pass rush definitely goes with coverage. Coverage goes with
pass rush. We definitely help each other, so you know,
it's great to see you know, you know, guys doing
their thing down there. It helps us and know when
we're locking down back in the back end, it gets
them sacks.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
So they definitely definitely go hand in hand for sure.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
Are you a draft guy, you're gonna paid Thursday Friday,
You're gonna be paying attention and seeing.

Speaker 1 (04:48):
What's going on there.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
Oh yeah, I mean for sure.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
Yeah, especially you know, I mean obviously being in it,
you know, you're definitely gonna pay attention.
