Before you knew it. All of a sudden, it seemed
like it was seventeen to nothing there in the first quarter.
They struck quickly and in a variety of ways. How
difficult was that to come out of that early hole.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yeah, I mean we definitely didn't start the game we
wanted the way we wanted to. We had a lot
of opportunities to come back, but definitely not the way
you want to start a football game.
Speaker 1 (00:18):
This team has done a good job on its first
drives for a lot of the season and getting quick scores.
What wasn't working right that was this joint that that
did not allow you to get an early score.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Yeah, I think they had a good plan for us
coming out. I think we just got to do a
better gud of executing the players that were called. But
I think they had a good plan for us.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
You were one of the players who wound up taking
a helmet hit. It seemed like they were overly aggressive
from the very beginning, almost like they were trying to
prove some kind of point. When stuff is borderlined like that,
how does that impact how you're going to play the game?
Speaker 2 (00:54):
I mean, every single time you played your helmet on
and you're expecting to play a physical brand of football.
That's how we do things here, so we kind of
knew that going into it. That's kind of what they
try and hang their hat on. I think we need
to do a better job of combating that.
Speaker 1 (01:10):
When you look at Jackson today, it was his first
game back after being in the protocol for a couple
of weeks. What did you see from him in terms
of his confidence, his demeanor in the huddle, at the
line of scrimmage. How do he look to you?
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I mean, he looked like the same confident you know,
a young kid we've seen all season. I thought he
did a great job today. Just got to keep building
across the board.

The Brothers Ortiz
The Brothers Ortiz is the story of two brothers–both successful, but in very different ways. Gabe Ortiz becomes a third-highest ranking officer in all of Texas while his younger brother Larry climbs the ranks in Puro Tango Blast, a notorious Texas Prison gang.
