Darius, How difficult is it to come out of a
seventeen to nothing hole there at the end of the
first quarter. You know, for a lot of these games,
you guys have been scoring on first drives and that's
made things a little bit easier.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
Yeah, for sure, deVie didn't start tonight as fast as
we have recently, but you know, obviously that's irrelevant. You know,
you got to get it going and find a way
to get points on board.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
Let's talking about your touchdown for a second, first one
you had now since I guess it was the Colts game,
second to last game last season. How to be good
to get in the end zone.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Again, Yeah, it is. It was nice and nice finally
get back in there.
Speaker 1 (00:33):
What did you see from Jackson today as he was
able to get back into the lineup.
Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, man, I think he played well, played hard. You know,
he got out of some bad situations tonight, and Mason
plays with his legs and his arm and you know, overall,
you know, I think he played a pretty good game.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
Some people would call it scrappy, some people would call
it gritty, but there's no doubt that the Patriots came
out well at least some type of agenda early in
this game. How did you think the guys responded to
it and what did you think about the way they
came out.
Speaker 2 (01:00):
Yeah, I mean it definitely came out with some intensity.
You know, you can you can see why they're you know,
tending to and uh, you know, we we probably you know,
didn't get off as fast as star as we needed
to needed to, But you know, I felt we kind
of came there and punched back a little bit, and
you know, we just weren't able to get us all
the way back in it.
Speaker 1 (01:17):
Yeah, you guys did get the two second half touchdowns,
and there for a minute it looked like you might
be able to make it a one score game.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah, you know, we got it's a two position game
and the defense got the stop and we had a
chance to go down and get a one position and
you know, unfortunately we weren't able to go get points
right there.
