Speaker 1 (00:00):
I guess we should start with the touchdown catch. Certainly

(00:03):
that's the kind of play that that people want to
be expecting from you. How to feel good?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah, it felt good, Jamis to a beautiful ball. Uh,
you know, kept the red line. You know, kind of
disappointed in my performance. I felt like I could have
made more plays out there. So, uh, it's got to
go back, look at films, see what I need to
correct and uh, you know, get back at it.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
If you did have the three catches on six targets
and and I guess the DBS had some position and
did try to get their hands on a couple. But
you you say you feel disappointed? What what did you
feel you missed out there?

Speaker 2 (00:33):
And I wasn't. It wasn't the dbast at all. I
think the first play that dart through, uh beautiful path.
Really both of them, its beautiful. I gotta come back.
I gotta come down with those. So, like I said,
it's got to correct some things, you know, uha, the
attack the ball, things that I know I can do,
and uh, I gotta you know, continue to work on that.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
You were able to play in two of the three
preseason games. How well do you feel you've acclimated yourself
during this past Yeah, you.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Know, I felt you know, I was banged up a
little bit during training camp, but uh, you know I
felt like I made you know, some good plays. Uh
you know, wish I was out there for all the
preseason games, but uh, you know, I went, you know,
dealt with some injuries, but it was fun to be
out there, you know, fun to be out there with
the guys, especially you know after the touchdown saying you know,
how many of them, how many players have supported me

(01:22):
throughout this journey, and uh, you know, I'm just just
glad and blessed to be honest.

Speaker 1 (01:25):
Team this is as has been very explosive through this preseason.
What's the difference?

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Uh, they believe in us. You know, you know in
that quarterback room is talented and uh you know their
their ball placement on where they you know, through their
passes is uh is beautiful, and uh, you know, we
got to make plays for them. And it starts with today.
I felt like I didn't make another place for Dark
and you know, I kind of disappointed about that.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I've heard you.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Say before that one of the things you do is
handle adversity. Well, is that an example of it you're
not happy with the first two. When you come back
and you make the touchdown on the on the third.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Yeah, for sure. You know, adversity is gonna come with it.
You know, I had adversity when I was at Tennessee,
and I feel like today it was a good example
of that. You know, started off a little slow for myself,
and uh, you know, I ended it with a touchdown.
But like I said, I left too many plays out
there that I know that if I had it back
that I'll definitely come you know, come down with And
I got to play better for Dark. You know, I

(02:20):
was his first time starting, first time out there, and
it was just very disappointed. You know what I did.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
Today, You held up three or four fingers for the
crowd after your touchdown. What was that?

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, it was for you know, it was for uh.
You know one of my brothers, Gage k Zurki, who
he played with me, uh and uh he lost his life,
so you know, it's really a tribute to him.
