to him. What's been your perception of him in these

Yeah? I mean he's preparing each and every day.

Speaker 3 (00:17):
Even whenever he was announced that he wasn't playing, he
was still acting like he was preparing to play. And
I just think that goes to show his maturity and
him just being a pro.

Given how the season's gone for you, have you given
much thought about just kind of you know, obviously beat
a free age after this scene, you thought about that
at all, as far as like how this will affect
things or whatnot.

Speaker 3 (00:36):
Yeah, I try not to think about it too much, obviously.
You know, I have family and friends that will call
and say something about it. But at the end of
the day, I'm just trying to go out there and
play my best ball and all that. My agents handle
that whenever the time comes, and yeah, just trying to
help this team.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Is that difficult though? I know, guys to talk about
how it is, but it's that difficult for you to
just kind of focus on that one guy. If people
are talking about it the family.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
No, I say, I know, I know it'll all take
of itself whenever it's supposed to, and there's no need
for me to stress about it. At the end of
the day, I know it's gonna come, and just continue.

I feel like what you did, even going all the
way back to week two, kind of gave them the
proof that you've been waiting to show them that, Look,
you know, put me in these different places and I
can I can really deliver here. And it seems like
since then it was almost like it took the took
the top off, you.

I would say a little bit of that to say,
even in week two, I wasn't even really playing on
the outside. I guess you could say I was still
doing a lot of those from the slot, especially because
we have ELK, But I really I think more so
whenever Molik went down, it was just like, you know,
we got to fill that void and continue to try
to get get you moved around and just get explosive.

You're closing on a thousand yards. Does that mean anything?
To you, wouldn't mean anything to you, no doubt. I
mean just from the moment.

I mean I was a rookie and tore My a CEO,
and just to get to this point just kind of
goes to show the work that I've tried to put
in just ever since I've been in the league, and
just to prove that you know, I can play in
this league and I can do big things in this
league too.

Did you during that offseason one day, did you do
any like Drake May tape study in case he was
going to be your quarterback?

NA?

I did not, unless he would have got drafted, then
I would have started watching some stuff. But yeah, whenever
the rumors of whoever may be coming to floating around,
I don't really try to get into that and just
wait to see what we actually take playing.

In primetime games before. Is there any extra juice knowing
that you're going to against a team that's at the
top of the AFC. I mean, you know, all the juice,
you know, all the the high profile that they've gotten
this year for the Patriots as a matter for you.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
I mean, not too much, ya say.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I mean, you know, whenever it's a prime time game,
everybody's going to be a little bit more juiced up.
But at the end of the day, you got to
bring it in, you know, just go out there and
play football.

Around statistically and see other receivers that might.

I don't really go.

so I'm going to see them, but I'm never looking
around to go, I'm chasing this guy or I'm chasing
this guy.

So no, not specifically.

I mean there are categories where you can look at
the guys that are behind you, and there's some pretty
elite guys that are right now listed behind Wandel Robinson
and catches and yards and touchdowns.

Yeah, like I said, just just trying to go out
there and play good football, continue to get open for
our quarterbacks whoever is back there.
