Speaker 1 (00:00):
So today is day five of TIFF, toronto International
Film Festival, and it's also dayone of Content Canada 2024.
And I started off TIFF threedays behind in my schedule.
My dog and I moved, I moved mydaughter to university.
The organizing, the prep, thepacking, the unpacking, the

(00:25):
coordinating, the last minuteappointments, the bloopers, the
timing, the requests, themiracles, the three days of no
prep that I really wanted andneeded, I had to accept.
They just were not showing up.
So I just showed up Contingencyplan, plan B, I let go of

(00:46):
overwhelm and just started tolive the story.
For four days I was in a movieof my own making.
So this morning, on day five ofthe conference, I woke up really
accepting my destiny as awriter, as a creator, as a
storyteller, as a writer, as acreator, as a storyteller, as a
coach and a continuing nurturer.

(01:08):
I woke up understanding thatnurturing my sweet time will
give me that confidence I needto start my.
It's never too late, becausethese past four days have
nurtured my focus, my confidence, my identity.
They nurtured my self-healingin magical moments, they reset

(01:31):
my clairvoyance and they gave metime to say goodbye to what I
really needed to leave behind.
May I always be three daysbehind.
I'm Jenny Connan and welcome toNurturing.
So today I'm nurturing sweettime with you.
I'll be sharing my thoughtsabout time created by the films

(01:55):
I've seen so far, and I'll bereally impressed if you can
figure out the title.
I want you to take time to fillwhat's relatable for you right
now.
If you're at the conference,perhaps you're finding time a
challenge.
Well, sweet time comes when youbecome aware of what's coming
to you for your bigger picture, perhaps your next project,

(02:17):
perhaps your destiny.
At the end of the podcast, I'llbe allowing time for you to
write or reflect with music.
I'll be allowing time for youto write or reflect with music.
I'll be using some tracks fromSoundstripe that attempt to
capture a small essence of theproduction.
This is a concept I've createdto make this nurturing podcast
more interactive Time just foryou All.

(02:40):
Right, here we go, running outof time, running from time.
Time to use your resources, time to help out others, time to
realize who's on board and whowants to leave, time to learn
from previous patterns, time tohonor those who have been

(03:01):
immortalized in time, time forplay and connection, time to use
what shows up right in front ofyou.
And time to be grateful forthose who have sacrificed their
time.
I actually watched this filmwith a film critic from LA and

(03:22):
at the end of it, as the creditsfinished, we stood up and we
just gave each other the biggesthug.
That's one of those magicalmoments I spoke of earlier.
It was a moment of connectioncreated by that film, by that
filmmaker, by that story, bythose characters.

(03:45):
Oh, that might have given you alittle hint there.
Okay, this one gave me just gaveme goosebumps Time to dream,
putting in the time, time torise, time to appreciate family,

(04:07):
time to look back, time toreflect on conflict, time to
separate, time to come backtogether, time to find a greater
purpose, time to make adifference and time to bring a
nation together.
Okay, that last one might havegiven it away.

(04:29):
So the last film I'm doing onNurturing Sweet Time.
Again, I want to share thewoman I was sitting beside At
the end.
Emotion brought us together andin that line, leaving the
theater for the last threeminutes, we organically shared
what we are doing in our liferight now.

(04:50):
That emotion brought connection.
The Q&A afterwards was a wholenew story, a new perspective on
why the film was done, and tolisten to the actors play roles,
some reverse to what theyactually lived, just to be, in

(05:13):
that moment, again magical.
I want to thank Tiff CameronBailey and his team for giving
this film a world stage.
All right, here we go Time tobe innovative, time to collab,
time to be disappointed, time tocome up with a new plan, time

(05:40):
to make a quick decision, timeto help, time to thank your
angels, time for karma to bite, time to make a change slowly and
when I have more time, I willbe posting on my socials for

(06:03):
your guesses, conversations,feedback, inspirations.
And now here's sweet time foryou.
Perhaps notice what shows up orwho shows up afterwards.
Take this time to write, create, meditate, think If you're

(06:24):
driving, don't do any of that, just enjoy.
I'm Ginny Connan and thanks fornurturing.
