Welcome back to Girls Gone Hallmark! In this episode, Megan (a longtime Hallmark fan) and Wendy (a former Hallmark hater) continue their Fall Into Love Again series with a look at All of My Heart: Inn Love. Originally premiering in 2017, this sequel to All of My Heart reunites Lacey Chabert and Brennan Elliott as Jenny and Brian—engaged, in love, and preparing for the grand opening of their bed and breakfast. Of course, no Hallmark romance would be complete without a few complications. A massive storm, endless renovations, money troubles, and a very opinionated food blogger threaten to derail their happily-ever-after. And that’s before Jenny’s passive-aggressive streak really takes hold. In this review, Megan and Wendy share their first impressions, favorite likes, biggest wishes, and “Did You See That?” moments, all with their signature Girls Gone Hallmark blend of fun, honesty, and (let’s face it) a little sass.

got another recommendation for you, and that is Meghan and Wendy.
That's us on Patreon. I often say that it's lighthearted.
Sometimes it's not.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
It's real life, but it is a little bit of escapism.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
It is.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
If you want to talk about someone else's problems, we
can do that.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
We also talk pop culture.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
All the stuff we're watching, reading and listening to you
that's not on a Hallmark. It's a good time over there,
I would say, and we would love to have you
give it a listen. As mentioned, the first week over
there is completely free and you could probably listen to
quite a few episodes in that time to decide is
this something I want to give my time and my
five dollars a month too. We'd love to have you
try Patreon dot com, slash Meghan and Wendy.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
I mean, I feel like in a week people can
listen to months and months of for sure, I mean
I could for sure. Absolutely, don't go too far back.
I be a little embarrassed.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
What Every once in a while someone's like, I listened
to this episode from twenty twenty two, I'm.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Like, yikes, what did we say? What did we say?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
I don't know, I don't know. Are you ready to
talk about all of my heart in love?

Speaker 4 (02:02):
Hit me with the synopsis.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Brian and Jenny are engaged in preparing for the grand
opening of their bed and breakfast, but when a big
storm hits Bucks County, all their plans end up stopping wet.
With funds running low and time running out, Brian agrees
to go back to Wall Street to make quick cash,
while Ginny scrambles to keep the opening on track.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
Terry Ingram directed all of My Heart in Love. He
will go on to direct All of My Heart the
Wedding spoiler alert. Terry has a packed resume of movies
including Three Wise Men and a Baby, Three Wise Men
and a Boy, and the forthcoming Three Wisest Men.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Let's put it Astra care because I want to come
back to the director when we talk about Okay, thanks
later on. Karen Berger is the writer of this project.
She's written on sixteen Hallmark projects, including all three movies
in the All of My Heart collection as well as
two of the Wedding Veil movies.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Lacy Srebert stars as Jenny. Lacey has racked up one
hundred eighty three acting credits and shows no sign of
slowing down, as she will appear in haul Out the Halloween,
the third in the hall Out the series, as well
as she's making a list alongside Andrew Walker this holiday season.

Speaker 3 (03:09):
Gotta Talia, I'm super excited for haul Out.

Speaker 4 (03:11):
The Halloween as am.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
I I don't even know why, other than the cast.
The extended cast in that movie series collection is so good.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
I loved hall at the Holly. At the end of
that movie, I was just smile. I found it so
happy and so I'm very excited. I agree the cast
will be great. We don't get a lot of Halloween movies,
so bring it on.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Love it.

Speaker 3 (03:34):
Brennan Elliott plays Brian. Brennan and Lacy have appeared in
eleven movies together throughout their careers. Brennan himself has eighty
six acting credits, last appearing along with Lacey in last
year's twenty twenty four His and Hers.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Heather Dorkson plays Bestie Casey, who brings the wise words
of wisdom. Heather has ninety six acting credits, including recent
Hallmark appearances in Wi mccomber's Joyful Missus, Miracle and A
White Water Romance.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Time Out is Brennan Elliott in a count on a
Christmas movie this year. He's not I don't think so interesting.
Daniel Cudmore plays Tommy, the Strong Silent Handyman. Dan Daniel
appeared in all three All of My Heart movies, although
those appear to be his only Homewark credits. He appeared

(04:21):
in four of the five Twilight movies as the character
of Felix, and Asner appears briefly as Vern. He passed
away in twenty twenty one at the age of ninety
one with four hundred and sixteen acting credits and seven
Primetime Emmy wins. He's best known for The Mary Tyler
Moore Show and Elf. He also returned for the final
All of My Heart movie. Barbara Barbara Pollard plays Alice.

(04:46):
She has thirty five acting credits. Is a regular on
Virgin River and has shown up in Hallwark films like
Confessions of a Christmas Letter, Good Morning Christmas, and A
Ki Christmas.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Laura Gilchris plays B and B blogger Denise. She later
appeared in the last All of My Heart film, and
her most recent Hallmark role was twenty twenty's Matchmaker Mysteries,
A Fatal Romance. Lauren k Robock plays guest Nora, with
one hundred and twenty two acting credits. She was last
seen on Hallmark in the Real West and Junebug, both
in twenty twenty four. All of My Heart in Love

(05:16):
premiered on September twenty third, twenty seventeen, on Hallmark Channel.
We are going to take a quick break, and then
we're gonna come right back with our first impressions. Hey, Wendy,
what was your first impression of All of My Heart
in Love?

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Well, I guess I need to watch the first movie
in this series because IMDb tells me it's Casablanca compared
to this one. So I did also read the reviews
on IMDb, and people really really liked it the first movie. Correct, Okay,
that's what I let me, I said, let me put

(05:56):
in an astrak here. Apparently the first movie had a
different director. It was the Delaese Yes, Peter Delaise, yes, correct.

Speaker 4 (06:05):
And I read all.

Speaker 3 (06:06):
Those IMDb reviews too, and people are like, what happened
because they were so excited for a sequel in this
movie and her same writer, what happened?

Speaker 4 (06:15):
What happened?

Speaker 3 (06:16):
And they're saying they're blaming Terry Ingram Ingram for dropping
the ball. Like, I don't know, I haven't seen the
first one. Kind of feel like I have to watch
the first one because, like I said, like everybody said
it was so great.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Everyone said the first one was so great, everyone says.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
Lacey's characters choices in the second movie were I'm gonna
talk went me too, but went against the way her
character behaved in the first movie. Let me tell you
my first impression?

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Yes please? Much like the roof at the end, this
plot is full of holes.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Oh okay, can we talk about some likes? I do
have some like as do I I was into the
bed and breakfast premise here, sure solid Hamewark territory. Sure
you starting a new business like it? Give me that
hosey framework. It got overloaded with all these subplots agree

(07:05):
and I was like, well, I don't even know what
to care about. You Sure, I know I like sandwich.
It's okay, the like it's okay. This like wish but whatever,
that's your podcast, thank you, thank you. I like the goats,
but I loved the goat. Do you feel like I'm
missing some contexts here, because something must have good happened

(07:26):
with the goats at in the first movie.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Oh, we don't hear the.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Goats are just there, like they don't talk a lot
about them, but they're so cute, and I want to know, like,
what's what's the backstay?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Why do we have goats? So cute?

Speaker 1 (07:37):
Though?

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Like when she's holding the goat as he's leaving, I'm like, that's.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
So cute there a little baby, right. Part of me
is always I have I want to I live in
this like romanticized life of like living on like a farm,
like a big farm. I that's not an easy life.
I feel like I could do it, But you want
to get up at five am? I know jack shit

(08:03):
about farm life.

Speaker 4 (08:04):
I just yeah, And you can never take a day off.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
No, I just see like having like dogs and fun
animals and just being like hello, my children, like coming up.
You know.

Speaker 4 (08:13):
I totally understand. I totally understand.

Speaker 2 (08:15):
I would love that if I could just like walk outside,
as long as somebody else to take care of them,
because quite frankly, I don't want to care for that
many animals all day every day.

Speaker 3 (08:22):
I want to do it like on a fun basis,
not like I have to keep you alive basis. Yes, yeah,
this had some nice fall touches, Like it reads like
a Fall movie.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
Uh huh.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
You got baked goods, cozy vibes, pretty flowers, like execution.
They I have some I have some more thoughts about
it in the digits of that, but like it gave
Fall like and that's what I guess I wanted from this.
Mm hm rewatch, that's what I liked. What about you?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Well, I enjoyed the pacing of the opening of the movie.
We're dropped right into the story. We learn about the
troubles surrounding the opening of the inn. I thought it
was real, rapid fire. It's the kind of dial I like.
It got me right into it. I think Lacy and
Brennan have a ton of natural ease on camera. They're
very comfortable. I believed them as a couple in a relationship.
Thought there were some fun money pit vibes to the

(09:13):
renovation scene that I really liked. I thought that was
you know, in the beginning. I thought it was fun.
It added some levity. I enjoyed Vern. I would have
actually liked to see more Vern. At one point Brennan
touched him. He's like, don't do that again. Great love
Vern a lot, and let's talk wishes.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
I wonder if Vern had a bigger role in the
first time he did. Okay, based on the reviews that
I read, did Emily have a role in the great question?
Because I did write Who's Emily?

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Who's Emily?

Speaker 3 (09:44):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Well, before we eat talk wishes, I do want to
say that we will admit we did not see the
first movie. We are at a disadvantage, and it seems
to be pretty well liked, so perhaps we're missing some
key components.

Speaker 4 (09:57):
But we are watching this movie on the basis of
this movie alone.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
So anybody who feels like, well you should have watched
the first movie, perhaps that is true, but we did not,
and so here we go. Yeah, we were working off
a list of Fall themed movie, yes, and then it
wasn't until I think, like we both loaded it and
we're like, oh, this is a s.

Speaker 4 (10:15):
I knew because it was all of my heart colon
in love. I'm like, I knew this.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
Was a sequel, but we just rocked with it. I
would like to say that my first wish just says,
buckle up, buttercups, just get ready. H My first wish
is it is hard to root for Ginny.

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Whooo. Genny is whiny, frustrating, passive aggressive, passive aggressive, like
she's so supportive to Brian and to his face where
he's like.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I gotta I gotta go work on.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
Wall Street and she's like, yeah, I understand that, and
then turns around it's like you're never huh, okay, okay.

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Jenny has an it'll all work out as long as
we love each other mentality, get out of here, but
she doesn't also have Our reality is bleak and sometimes
that means doing hard things mentality to go along with it.

Speaker 4 (11:11):
He didn't want to go back to this job either.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
You needed money. The BnB needed to be completely rewired.
If you cannot have more than two guests, you cannot
have a financially solvent business. So, unfortunately he had to
go back to a job that took him away from
You deal with it. You are going to be okay.
They were in dire financial straits. Brian took on a
job that would help them out. Yes, it took them

(11:35):
away from each other, but it was a necessity for
a week. Temporarily. This wasn't his future. This was let's
make a bunch of money in this job that I hate.
But they're just gonna throw boatloads of cash at me
and then we can live this life.

Speaker 3 (11:48):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Also in this movie, Brian says I love you to
Jenny so many times, and you know what, she says nothing.
She doesn't say it back. And then and then we
get the scene where they're on the phone and he says,
I love you.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
Have I mentioned that? And she goes, not recently? And
I go.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
This man says it all the time, and you never
say it back. And it's only in this moment that
she says, I love you too, but every other time
he goes I love you, she goes bye. It was
over and over and over again.

Speaker 3 (12:21):
So there was no questioning Brian's devotion to Toualise, to Lazy,
to Jenny. Yeah yeah, yeah, so she shouldn't even have
been questioning, which she gives him the ring back. This
feels sad.

Speaker 4 (12:39):
You need to think about what we're doing here. Oh
my god, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
I complained some more. Yes, how did they get engaged?
Because her friend at the bakery, her friend at the bakery,
whose name is Casey, She many times is complaining about
her life at home and Casey says to her, maybe
you should ask if he's having a hard time with
all the struggles. At the end, Casey has to repeatedly

(13:05):
tell Jenny to just talk to her fiance, and.

Speaker 4 (13:09):
Joey's like, oh, that's a good idea, Like she beats her.
It's multiple times where she has to say to her,
I hear you, and please go talk to him about this.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Stop talking to me about it.

Speaker 4 (13:21):
What is going on for you? Talk to your dude. Also,
we're doing too many things.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Are you running it in? Are you running a bakery,
Are you a stock worker? Or whatever the hell he
does on Wall Street? I wrote too many storylines. The
launch of the B and B Jenny's bakery business and
her distribution, drama, Brian's job, money troubles, Hou's repairs, a
wedding to plan, Jenny's resenting, Brian's schedule, a blogger and
her crush, a house guest and his crush, plus the

(13:49):
returning guest who is like I love thrifteing or whatever
who comes back. There are three movies crammed into one.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
No one, what is it?

Speaker 3 (13:57):
I don't care. No.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
The whole blogger thing, like, that's a whole conflict in
and of itself, and they do that movie crush it
in there, and then never mind, I no, never mind,
I'll come back to it.

Speaker 3 (14:08):
First of the blogger was such.

Speaker 4 (14:09):
A bitch too, the worst. She had a vendetta. She's like,
I'm here to take down the B and b's of
the world.

Speaker 3 (14:15):
I write a takedown blog. Yes, yeah, She's like ugh,
and then she's like, oh, I wrote you have really
good review.

Speaker 2 (14:22):
Yeah, because she gets that sweet, sweet loven from the strong,
silent electrician.

Speaker 3 (14:26):
Yeah, exactly exactly. I also hated. There were a couple
of things I didn't. I didn't not like Brian. Brian
was fine, But what I didn't like at the beginning,
and these are not exact words, but it was very
much like you're bleeding me dry here like your B
and B that is yes, ours essentially yes, but he

(14:48):
feels like all these repairs are you can't have a business.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
It was such like a like a caricature.

Speaker 3 (14:55):
Of a dude to be like it was costing so
much money? Yeah, And to that, I say, stfu, like.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
Why are you shopping again?

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Yes? Exactly. You know.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I saw a TikTok the other day where this woman
had gotten a bunch of deliveries and someone had commented like, oh,
must be nice, And so the next TikTok was her
like opening up.

Speaker 3 (15:14):
She's like, yes, must be nice. And it's literally like
toilet paper and detergent and shampoo and conditioners. She's like,
everyone gives women a hard time for shopping. We're shopping
for the house and the entire households.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Where are the flow?

Speaker 2 (15:25):
We're the damn flow? Can you tell we're fired up today?
I apologize to our listeners.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Also, the other thing I didn't like, is all the
weird it came from?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Really?

Speaker 3 (15:38):
Like one guess, but like, where's Brian? Where's Brian?

Speaker 1 (15:41):
No one cares?

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Where's the co owner of it?

Speaker 3 (15:44):
He's a mark?

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Oh why did he have to go to work? Yeah,
there's all this manufactured drama.

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Yes, my fiance is at work making money because this
place is a hell hole. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:57):
I was like, we can't plug into I explain to me,
Explain to me, you can't have more than two guests
because the wiring can't support it. But then you can
have the electrician com install two new outlets in that
blogger's room.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Which did we rewire the house at some point that
I was unaware of?

Speaker 3 (16:14):
I don't know. Maybe maybe, he implied, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
That's why Brian had to keep going back to the grind.
Apparently so the salt mines.

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Yeah, are you ready to talk to you to see that?

Speaker 4 (16:27):
I really only have one did to see that?

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Okay, let me hear. Why did that blogger write her
a five star review? It was unearned? Yeah, sorry, I
didn't mean to steal that from you earlier.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
No you didn't.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
You're right, it was unearned. Other than like having a
great meal.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
The vibes, right, Jenny did bring nice vibes. Yeah, but
the bn B itself did need some work. And I
think it's okay to say that, like come for the warmth,
But if I.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Was a blogger, I would have been like the house
manager or whomever was not there, like when she leaves,
like okay, look, she had her friend Alice come and
like run things like I guess, like that's appropriate, like
you you always have to be there. Yeah, but some
of the like some of their guests were like, oh

(17:14):
you're leaving, what am I gonna do?

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Like yeah, that was handily, Like it's a bed and breakfast,
so she needs to be there to serve them breakfast.
She had someone on site to manage if there was
an emergency, she had the friend there. I feel like
they needed to let her leave the house at night.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Yeah, I agree.

Speaker 2 (17:29):
I think a better thing for the blogger to have
done is for her to be like, I'm gonna come
back and we'll do a we'll do a real review,
Like when you've got this, I'll come back.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
That'll be my gift to you. It's okay, we're almost done.

Speaker 3 (17:41):
I have two digitsy, that's one. Is it happens at
the top of the movie and Ginny and Brian are
leaving the house and she's talking about, you know, shopping,
like she's like, we got to get some more like
fall colored flowers. She's like, we need more gold and
some pumpkins. As they walk by a bed of flowers,
all the moms it's fully I'm like, okay. The other

(18:03):
thing is this comes to is a two part It's
a question at the work party that they go to
it in New York, Brian's boss's wife says to Ginny like, Oh,
I've had your muffins and they're life changing, the best
muffins I've ever tasted. And so I have a question
for you. Have you ever been moved by a muffin?

Speaker 4 (18:20):
I really thought the same thing.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
I thought, like, you couldn't have said a croissant or
a cinnamon roll.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
I don't believe it about a muffin. I don't believe
a muffin can be life changing. I've never had a
muffin where I was like, oh my god, this is
the best muffin. I've had a cinnamon roll that I thought,
this is the best cinnamon role I've ever had. I've
had a croissant. You're right, never a muffin. Muffin is
just a muffin to me.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
I don't understand Jenny's business. She appears to make like
twelve items and somehow that's supposed to keep them afloat.

Speaker 3 (18:48):
I don't understand.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
I don't understand how she's supposed to be running a
bakery business and running an inn and she's got a
distributor and understand.

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Yeah, are you ready to rate it? I gave this
movie two point five stars?

Speaker 4 (19:00):
So did I bet?

Speaker 3 (19:01):
I blame it on Jenny Sulking. She's so unlikable.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
