And I can tell you from personalexperiences in a few months that
I've known this brother, everything that I just read and
said was true. And welcome tothe show, akin
my man, what's going on? Man,what's good?
(02:11):
Man, it's a blessed man. I'mso honored, so honored to have
you here. Man, this, this isjust a distinguished gentleman.
Guys like you have no ideayou're about to learn something,
but you have no idea.
So, yes, sir. Man, how youfeeling today?
I'm good. Man, it's, it's, it'sa joy to be alive. Man, you
know, every day you wake up, youknow life is, life now is sweet,
(02:36):
wow. Man, okay, life now issweet. Man,
Yeah, I'm good to be here.
That's good man, that's goodman. So, but doing Cookman
University, how was thatexperience like up there?
Man, and so, man, my Cookmanexperience, man, it's, it was,
it was fun. Y'all had some gooddays and some bad days. Oh, man.
(03:01):
But honestly, I think myexperience at Cookman, it helped
me to to become a better man, abetter independent man, um,
growing up in a household whereyou know life has been, you
know, I wouldn't say shelter, but when you you're coming from
a low poverty of family, youknow, you got to make sure that
(03:22):
every step had like, every stepmatters. So, you know, you
can't, you know, I like to say, man, like, Life is a mystery,
but it's, it's really what youit's really what you make it.
You know what I mean. So youjust gotta move on faith. Man,
so my my equipment, experiences,my friend always told me, man,
you gotta network. So that wasmy biggest thing my freshman
(03:43):
year, the SGA. How was the SGA?
The freshman class, I'm sorry, freshman class president or
director of affairs. So I wasdoing, you know, chapels and
with my good friend and fratbrother, Claude Cheetham. Shout
out to him, you know, yo to thebarn. So he brought me on. Man,
it was just a bond that just, you know, really just grew from
(04:06):
there. And I'm grateful for it.
Man, I'm grateful for theopportunities. Man, got in rooms
where I didn't think I wasqualified for, oh, that's the
God we serve. You knowhim, amen. So that's, that's a
beautiful transition into thisfirst question, man who, who has
been a significant spiritualinfluence, and how have they
impacted your journey?
(04:30):
My my mind been, been, beenrolling. My mind goes back to
when I was, I would say, maybewhen I was seven years old. Man,
lady by the name of Miss BarbaraWilson took me up under her
wings. She was a Palm BeachCounty educator. She was a
activist in the in the city. Sheshowed me the ropes. I met her
(04:54):
at my own church. She was themusician about her being a T.
Year, and what she did in thecommunity, all I knew was Miss
Wilson being a musician, a goodorgan player. And come to find
out, she started so many choirs.
She was a big pillar. Um, shepassed away this year of 2024
um, but we, we had a goodservice for her, man and, um,
(05:17):
you know, that's my girl. Sheliterally gave me a chance. Wow,
me a chance. And I think it was,it was the year of my, my junior
year in high school, my juniorin high school. It really, it
really stretched me to be who Iwho I am today, man. And so she
saw my little self, where I wasjust and keys, transposing in
(05:39):
one key, having a good littletime. Man, having a little Casio
board. I don't know if I couldplay the same thing now, but so
I'm excited for her and what sheinstilled into me. Man, yes,
(06:00):
that's amazing. So you say shegave you a chance, it was more
so at leading or just playing.
What? What? What did thatlook like? When I say she gave
me a chance, man, that's good. ISo, like I said, I'm a musician.
So you know, back in the day, ifyou wasn't good, they'll scoot
(06:22):
you off the keyboard, man. Soyou had to be somebody. So it
was between her and God rest hissoul. Anthony ciders, Tony
siders, they gave me a chance toplay drums when I knew I wasn't
the best, and they still let meplay. You know, they'll turn,
turn the volume down a littlebit, but, bro, it was, it was
(06:47):
solid. Man, I'm grateful for it.
Man, so they, they will put mein platforms. Man, I would do a
lot of, a lot of likecompetitions and stuff like
that. I get second place, but, man, it was tight. It was tight.
It was tight work. Man, I'mexcited for
it. Yeah. Man, that's tight.
Man, the fact that you know, like you said that, that I'm
sure that helped you in so manysignificant ways. Because if it
(07:09):
was just straight up skill, youknow, you're like, hold on, you
might not make the cut. But thefact that they saw something,
that you believed in you atleast, and to help you to where
you are today is that's just, that's amazing.
There they honestly saw theolder me, Wow, and I didn't see
it, wow. So you got to havepeople in your corner. Man, that
(07:30):
can really see the older you andthe mature you, um, you can't
have people that just, you know, want to be a leech. You can't
have. Man, so, you know, legions, they just drain you,
and you find yourself just goingthrough life, like, what is
going on, you know, so you gottareally, I think somebody I
(07:52):
heard, I think Doctor JamalBryant, where he he did a
morning motivation. He was like, you gotta find a cabinet. And,
you know, you gotta have peoplein your circle. You know, Jesus
had 12 disciples, right? All ofthem wasn't the same. I don't
believe. None of them waschurched. So you gotta find
people that that's going to helpyou get to the next level and to
(08:15):
handle your, handle your youknow, your journey in life. So
those two were, man, they werevery infamous, like, influential
in my life, man, and I'm, I'mgrateful for, I still have
connections with a lot of peoplejust through them. Um, you know,
they, they both gone on to bewith God, with going, going on
(08:36):
the glory and, um, yeah,that's, that's, that's, that's
amazing, man, that is soamazing. So tell us about the
moment or time when God calledyou to step into your purpose,
and how did you respond?
I would say, man, yeah, man, it was. It was in my
(08:56):
junior year of high school, I'vebeen playing around the city. I
was a musician, and, you know, the West Palm Beach area I was
playing going to church. Youknow, being a regular musician,
I want to, I want to, I don'twant to say a typical musician,
because that's a bad that's abad look. Now I want to say
that. But, man, my junior yearin high school. Man, they miss
(09:22):
Wilson, Miss Barbara Wilson. Shehad got sick, and I was, you
know, I was young man, and so Ihad to gain the respect at my
home church, because I had tofunction the mass choir, the
male chorus, the U choir and theyounger duck choir. And I was a
junior in high school, so I'mliterally guiding and leading
(09:44):
others in worship. What I'mdoing now. It dropped on me as a
junior in high school, wow, so Iknew that it took another level
of me just just playing because.
I had to sing, I had to teach, Ihad to pick the songs. Um, some
(10:04):
of the songs where we you know,we did. But it was in that
moment where God cultivated me,like, hey, I need to do this for
me. It says, right here, thedeal breaker, alright? And it
literally changed the culture ofthe church, where they begin. I
wouldn't say, to get a littlemore Pentecostal in their
responses on a Sunday. But we,we kind of broke that
(10:26):
traditionalism, where anythingcan happen when we in the
presence of God, amen, amen.
Yeah, man, it was a free spirit.
So my journey, I had to reallyconsecrate myself and really tap
into, you know, hey, this is myreal purpose. And it, I believe
it was a second Sunday, and man,the glory dropped on me. And I
(10:46):
it was a overwhelming feeling.
I'll never forget it. And Iliterally broke down in tears.
And everybody thought I was, youknow, going through it, you
know. But you know, I'm happythat the church, my home church
was a safe place where nobodyjudged me. You know nowadays,
man, church is not a safe place.
(11:09):
Wow, wow. Some, somebody just said that the
other day. Man, that's thesecond time I'm hearing that say
it's not a safe place.
Oh, yeah, man, you you got, yougot to be careful. And I think
we and I don't, I'm not here tobash the church in any any way,
form or fashion. Please takewhat I'm saying out of love. But
church, can you? Can people willjudge you? Or I would say that
(11:32):
like this, people will judgeyour tears and and think they
know what your tears are for.
But sometimes this is just a wayof me expressing my love to God.
I may cry, I may wave my hands,or I may just, I may just get it
in a flat, fledged, you know, position, and lay it out on the
ground and give God all I can.
Mm, so, you know, I believe whenwe get back to the point where
(11:56):
we don't, we're not looking tobe entertained, then I think
that's when, you know, we wouldtap into the real purpose of why
church is church, and why it's asafe place. Man, um, you know,
back in those days, man, inthose older days before me and
you church was a safe place.
That's where they went torelieve themselves. When they
were picking cotton, they had togo back to church, and they want
(12:19):
to be themselves. Mm, yeah. Soonce we get back to that mindset
of church being a safe place,man, I think, I think we're
going to be alright. Doyou think? Do you think the
safety of the church correlatedwith the the hardness of the
times outside of the church?
(12:40):
Uh, yeah, um, yeah. Because, youknow, church has become a
business so, yeah, church hasbecome a business man and um,
you know, some all churches arehard not thinking business
minded. So let me say that. Butsome churches are, you know, I
(13:01):
would say stagnant, becausethey're more so most so more so
looking, you know, to beentertained because they've been
through so much hard time. Mm,so once I get, once I get to
church, I just want to sit thereand, you know, I just want to be
me. You know, some people mayjust be in a stuck position
where I just need to take it in.
Sometimes I can't move. So evenon a given Sunday, I'm not
(13:24):
looking for I'm not looking fora a wow moment. I'm more so
looking for, you know, results.
I'm not looking for response.
You know what I mean? So, youknow, we got that working
relationship? Man, well, I'm atthe church. I'm not looking for
a response. I'm looking forresults. Wow, yeah. And that
(13:45):
goes, that goes good to a lot ofworship leaders. Man, if you, if
you're doing what you need to doas a worship leader, you can't
you get you really, I don'tknow. Uh, but you, you, you can
get really depressed if you doworship and people ain't moving
(14:06):
that make you feel like youain't doing that right. But you
can't look for the response ofpeople. You gotta look at what
God is doing, wow, in in thatmoment, you know what I mean. So
you got, you got to be a little,a little mind conscious when
even leading worship. Man. Soit's, it's levels to it. It's
really levels to ittrue. So, so that's, that's,
(14:29):
hey, we transitioning perfectly.
So, um, what's your what is yourfavorite Bible verse a pastor
that helps you stay calm duringchallenging times, whether you
know that's during worship, justimpersonal. And how does that
look in action?
Matthew, five and 16,I put it on. It was crazy. I was
at my graduation, man and my mycollege graduation, and I put it
(14:54):
on my graduation cap, andsomebody asked me, what is that?
What is that? And I said. Well,it says, you know, let your
light shine before men that theywill see your good works and
glorify your Father in heaven.
So that goes to say that I'mnot, I'm not the the highlight
(15:14):
here, mm, I'm just a workingman. I'm just a willing vessel.
Alright, all glory goes to God,and I don't take no credit for
nothing. You know, God hasblessed me to be, to be a
blessing man, and I, I neverforget me. At my home church,
(15:35):
had a conversation with mypastor, and he said, Hey, man,
you know it was, it was him andthe trustee, remember, they was
in there before service. Theysay, man, we going to give you a
raise. Uh, how you feel aboutthat? I said, Well, if you do
it, you go ahead and do it,that'll be great. I said, but I
want you to know that I'mclearly not here for money. So
(15:56):
anything that I have received inall and my whole entire life. It
is literally because you know,God has been faithful to me, and
I've been faithful to God. Andthat could sound very spiritual
and deep, but once you tap intoanother Mindset, where you know
where, where you know yourmindset, control your your
(16:19):
outcome, then you know, that's athat's a good place to be in,
man. So, yeah, you got yougotta, you gotta really do, do
the good work, man, and give AllGlory to God. You can't be stuck
in your ways and think it's allabout you, cuz that that that'll
(16:41):
close a lot of doors. I've beena lot of places where people
have thought is, is all it'sbeen all about them, and it's
not, it's not about you, right?
It's not just because you canget up there and shout the
people, just because you cancontrol a great meeting, just
because you can put on a goodevent. It's not about you. It
doesn't matter if it's secular.
It doesn't matter if it'sspirit, if it was in the church
(17:04):
world, or is it doesn't matter, right? It's, it's all glory goes
to God. If you have relationshipwith God, everything all points
back to God. It doesn't matterhow successful you are. You
could be the biggest guru man.
You could be have the highestcredit score in the church,
all glory goes to God. Man, soAmen,
(17:26):
wow, no how that was great. Man,so how do you navigate moments
of doubt, if any, or questioningwhen it comes to your
relationship with God?
I want to get too personal, but how do I navigate moments?
Man, well, you know, like theysay, man, you know you pray
(17:49):
without season, so mainlyprayer. If I can encourage
anybody today, you know, evenwhen you're in doubt, you know,
you have to pray. You have tohave a relationship with God.
But I believe it was BishopTriplett I was starting to
preach as a, you know, youngminister coming up, and Bishop,
(18:10):
Bishop Daryl triple it. He toldme it was actually, it was
really at Mount Calvary. I wasgoing to hear him preach. And he
said to me, I said, Man, what Isaid, Can you give me an advice
for young preachers, startingup? He said, start a devotional.
He said, start a devotional. AndI heard it, but I really, you
(18:32):
know, I didn't, you know, let'sbe honest. A lot of stuff,
people tell us, we don't jumpright in, right? Yeah, that's
all real, right? You know? So Iwas like, okay, that's, that's,
that's nice, that's cute, that'scute, that's cute, man. But, uh,
so anyways, years down the line,um, let's see I'm be honest,
(18:54):
maybe four years down the line,I actually started devotional,
and I would, I had some issuesgoing on at my job when I was
teaching, and I didn't know howto navigate it. And so I said,
Well, God, I know you got mehere to teach, because it's my
purpose, right? You can knowyour purpose, but sometimes you
(19:14):
could doubtit. That's a scary place to be
in, soyou gotta, you gotta be in the
mindset where you have to changethe culture around you once you,
once you change the environmentaround you, or be a chain
breaker there. See, then youknow that that helps. So I was
sending out motivationals toeverybody, every morning my
(19:37):
boss, and she was like, Man, Ireally needed that. And it was
almost to the point where theysaid I took one day off, bro.
And they was like, what theytold you up? It's just been a
long morning. I had a longweekend. It was like, Okay, we
thought something happened. Iwas waiting. I. I said, Okay,
(19:59):
give me, give me a second. I gotyou and, um, just to have that
rapport, man, where people, theywere sending it to their friends
outside of school. So this, itwasn't just reaching three or
four people. This was reaching50 people to 100 people. And I
didn't even know it, so I hadslacked the hour back, and they
(20:19):
were looking like it was goingon. So having a having a good
devotional life, man, Ireferenced him a lot because I
love his, his organizationalskills. But, you know, Jamal
Bryant said one of his, one ofhis mentors or professors, told
him to, you know, when youstarting out, read a Proverbs in
(20:43):
the morning and read a psalms inthe night. So that's something
that I'm getting into now, and Ilike it. Proverbs is, is being
wise is a book of Wisdom in theBible, and Psalms is is book of
praise. So even when you mayfeel like you're starting your
(21:03):
day off wise and you know you'redoubting your relationship, or
doubting something, or you knoweverything can really roll out,
you can still end it with apraise Amen. End your day with a
praise man.
Not like that, those two things, but that the devotional just, I
want to ask you to expand onthat for the audience, what
(21:24):
does, what does having adevotional life look like? Um,
a devotional life? Man is forlack of better words,
affirmations.
Mm, affirmations. So I thinkaffirmation I sent out,
affirmation I sent out thismorning. Man, it was, it was
(21:44):
really good. Man, just, it was,I think, he said, Lord, give me
the information I need toinitiate the work, um, release
the resources necessary to fund, you know, the project, surround
my, you know, surround myselfaround individuals who have the
same insight as me, you know, and keep the fire within me so I
(22:06):
don't burn out. Amen, simpleaffirmation, nothing too
spiritual, you know. And so thatthat was something that, you
know, I received that I kind oftapped in. Maybe we got a
subscription for. They have alot of subscriptions. You always
go on the Bible appsubscriptions. You can google
affirmations. They're on socialmedia pages, Instagram pages.
(22:31):
So, you know, that's a wholeanother story in itself with
social media. But, um, yeah, yeah, that's great. No,
that's great, man. I thinkthat's important people just
having that personal time, sothat devotional life, you know,
that's that's something I evenneeded to hear myself. I had my
personal time, but I won't evensay I necessarily have a
(22:52):
devotional time per se, at leasta dedicated, a dedicated
devotional time, versus wheneverI'm led to do something like
that, versus having that be in alifestyle. So I definitely think
somebody else has been freedfrom you saying that as well.
Yeah, man, you know, like yousay, every day is, is a day of
(23:12):
Thanksgiving. Man, so even ifyou can get so far into every
morning saying, you know, God, Ithank you for waking me up this
morning. Leave it there. Leaveit on the table, and go on by
today, even just a spirit ofThanksgiving goes a long way.
You don't have to stare and reada whole paragraph, because some
people not morning. People, yeah, right, yeah. You know you
(23:32):
you catch me the wrong, wrongtime of the morning. I don't
know what I'm gonna say to you.
I'm just being honest. But yeah, man, all just aside. Man, I
think that's, you know, startedoff gradually from the ones
that's that's not really jumpingout there, you know, just
reading a whole paragraph everymorning, I gotta wake up at six
(23:53):
o'clock. Hey, God, I thank youfor waking me up this morning,
starting me my way, giving meactivity in my limbs and going
by today. Boom, you out ofthere. That's it, you know. So,
yeah, allright. Man, I appreciate that.
All right, so how do you staycalm and balance and everything?
(24:16):
Man, that's good question. So,um,
how to stay calm and balancingthings. Man, I would say, my, my
aunt always tease us around thehouse. Man, when I, when I was
younger, she said, You alwayssit in one place and I can read
you a book, and you never gaveme problems. Thank God, my kids
(24:37):
ain't going to be crazy. I said,we thank God for that, but, but,
man, really honestly, I I'm aYouTuber. I like, I like
watching YouTube. I'm justbeyond I like watching YouTube.
You know, I like watchinginterviews,
(24:57):
one of my favorite comedians.
And you can like, like him andlove him, man, I like Bernie
Mac.
You know, sometimes, you know, laugh is good for the soul
when I'm having a real, real badday, man, I may, I may turn on
some gospel music riding in thecar. I'm jamming. It's getting
real funky. Or I just may get onYouTube and just look at some
(25:23):
funny videos, man. Just try toisolate your mind from life a
little bit. You know, let's wetalking real, right? I don't
have to be spiritual, yeah. Youknow, every day you're not going
to get up. Oh, Lord, no. I justwant to get on YouTube, and I
just want to watch my little, you know, maybe a couple of
(25:44):
church services every now andthen, you know, catch up. I'm a
fan of shout out to BishopBrandon Jacobs in Louisiana,
Temple in Indianapolis andHammond. So I watched them a
lot, man. So that's there. Itell people all the time, I
tease, I say, that's, that's mybishop. That's my that's my
second. And shout out to BishopGranger. Man, that's my guy.
(26:08):
Bishop W, O, J, Granger. Man,and Mount Calvary family, they
really take me in. So I love it.
Man, it's, yeah, yeah. Soisolation, man, that's, that's
important, yes, sir. I don'tthink, I don't think, I don't
think people do that. I feellike they, you know. And again,
Satan is, is called the GreatDeceiver in Scripture. So you
know, he deceives us. Feel likewe gotta stay busy and gotta
(26:31):
keep your mind involved andstuff. But like you said, it's
really isolation is, is crucial.
Yeah, isolation, isolation, man,can be a blessing and a curse.
Now, yeah, let's, let's put thatout there, because there's been
moments where we probablyisolated from a lot of people,
(26:52):
and we saw ourselves like, hey,you know, I'm getting to a deep
depression here. And sometimesyou can have, you know, your
that, that little voice. Peoplesay that little voice or that
bad, that bad ear talking to youand say, Hey, man, you know,
just, you know, cut yourself, man, just let it go. Just what
is the new word? Spazz out.
Yeah, crash out. CrashNo, you can't crash out.
(27:22):
Somebody. In here don't crashout. All right, don't crash out,
not today. But, um Yeah, man, just you just, man, really, just
aligning yourself with with yourpurpose,
yeah, um Yeah, that's good, man.
So can you, uh, share an exampleof how God turned a failure or
set back into something good inyour life.
(27:44):
Oh, got a lot on.
I got a lot of man, but um, Ithink um, I'm gonna give you two
Yeah, of course, of course. Um,I was in college at the great
bon COVID University in DaytonaBeach, Florida, um, home of the
Wildcats. You know, go, GoWildcats. We don't like
(28:07):
rattlers, you know, yeah. But,you know, we love y'all, even
though we lost the class, andthat was nice, but anyway, we
still got the best band in theland, amen. So, yeah, man, I was
at Cookman and I was a I was asenior, but I wasn't a
(28:27):
graduating senior. If you know, you know, yes, sir, yes, sir.
Oh, there's a major difference.
There's amajor difference. Oh, I can say
I was a senior. I got anopportunity. Honestly, I got an
opportunity that was, you know, afforded me to be the minister
music in Alabama, um, and I wentup there. They flew me out, you
(28:49):
know, took care of me, and thepastor loved me, um, but the, I
believe, the minister, theadministrator, I just wasn't to
their liking. But they didn'treally see at that time the
anointing on my life. Andsometimes, know who you are, and
some and it's okay to take a noevery now and then. And it kind
(29:13):
of hit me a little bit, and Iwas in the hotel room, and it
just dawned on me, and God waslike, Yeah, this is not your
time yet. He was like, yeah, gothrough this. And just after
that, I got a call. It was like,Well, come out to the church. We
want to hear you play and sing.
And so, you know, I went throughthe motions. And that Sunday, I
(29:38):
played and backed the preacherup, and I led a song, and church
went crazy. I blacked out.
Church went crazy. I don't knowwhat happened, man, we want you
to come back. We want you tocome back. So I'm, I'm really
looking forward to go back. Man,I love those people up there,
and they're, you know, I'm notgoing to say their name, because
I know this is going to. Be outin the wind, right? I thank God
(30:00):
for that experience, because itliterally, you know, what you
think is an open door is reallya closed door. And we gotta
thank God for closed doors. Comeon now, if I wouldn't be where I
am now, if I was in, you know,in Huntsville, alright, alright,
yeah. Soit was that moment, and then,
(30:25):
honestly, that was the one. Butthen I couldn't really get to
that moment, because I'm at theThune, and my advisor says,
Yeah, you can't graduate. Isaid, You must be out of your
mind. I got a job on the line. Igot this, I got that. I said,
What are you talking about? Igot to get out of here in May
(30:47):
Well, sir, I'm sorry. I'm sorryto break it to you, but you may
have to graduate duringChristmas. You I think you may
have another year. I said, Whatdo you mean? Another year? So
they was talking about myelectives, and shout out to all
the college students that that'smaking it happen, make sure you
go with your curriculum. Makesure you check every box. Don't
(31:08):
put extra courses on them. Youdon't need to, okay, go buy the
book. And I had to do an extrayear, man. And wow, a year. So
even I had a job, went for thejob, I still wouldn't be able to
get the job. So that was twoclosed doors, but
(31:29):
I just bounced back. Man, I justbounced back.
I can't lie, I was in my head alot. I was young man, I was in
my head, but I made it happen.
And, you know, I graduated. Within business
with I did a lot of businesscourses, so I changed over to
(31:50):
liberal studies, and graduatedLiberal Studies degree from the
great Podunk University. And I'mexcited for that experience.
Made a lot of connections. Istarted getting close with the
president of the university, andI said, Man, I gotta leave. So
shout out to judge. HuberGrimes, Good man, good lawyer.
(32:10):
Sohe was interim president at that
time.
Yeah. So I'm excited for all theexperiences and the people that
poured into my life. I couldroll down, I could roll down a
list of names, man, but theyhelped me overcome that step.
They helped me overcome thatstep. And I learned a lot of
(32:31):
wisdom in that last year thatprepared me really for today,
I'm actually operating in those, you know, wise words so anybody,
man, somebody, want to talk toyou and drop some wisdom into
you. Listen, don't be hardhitting. People. Go do your
(32:51):
chores. Do your chores, becausethe end of the day that's going
that's going to get you to apoint where, hey, nobody likes a
dirty home. And if you want tomarry somebody, you need to your
chores, so you start thingsearly. Come on, about later in
life. Man, so come on, yeah, they helped me out. Man, I'm
(33:12):
excited for it. I'm grateful, yeah. Man,
that that was so amazing. Man, Idefinitely appreciate you coming
and sharing your story. Man,answering some of these
questions, giving insight andencouragement to the listeners,
is anything you want to sayshare with the people before we
go. Um,yeah. Man, I'm like I said, I'm
grateful to be here. Um, just afew words of wisdom. Man, you
(33:35):
know, going through life creategood relationships.
Relationships is the newcurrency. In my opinion, amen,
amen. You know, like it or loveit. You know, relationships are
the new currency. So just bemindful of the people that you
have in your circle. Um, it willreally reflect to others of who
(33:56):
you are. So if you around peoplethat go out all day, every day,
clubbing people will reflectthat to you. Um, I never forget
Bishop, Bishop McRae, out ofOrlando, of ECC, he told me I
went to ordination. He said, hesaid, You gotta protect your
(34:18):
witness. So you know, numbertwo, protect your witness. So
create good relationships, protect your witness. You know,
be mindful of what you'reposting, because jobs are
looking I've personally been inthe hiring field and had a great
candidate, but they just didn'thave the the great social media
(34:41):
and the influence wasn't there.
Um, it was. It was a littlerocky man. So that's just some
words of wisdom, man. Andliterally man, just, you know,
be creative what you're doinghere. Man is a great. Great way
of being creative, man, this isthe new. This is the new, I
(35:03):
wouldn't say wave, but this is,I would say, becoming the new
norm, right, right, tapping intoother forms of of income, other
forms of influencing, um, soknow, know your purpose in life,
and then you know you'll be likea Daryl one day. Amen. I
definitely appreciate you, mybrother. Thank you so much for
(35:26):
your time and again. Your words, man and I will be putting all
his information, his contactinformation, and the show notes
today again. Hey, If this showhas to touch you anyway, please
share with somebody. I'm suresomebody will be touched just as
much as you were. I know youwere that we just give God the
