(00:00):
Daryl, welcome to give it your all the

(00:03):
podcast where we dive deep intolife's biggest challenges and
victories through a biblicallens. I'm your host, Daryl
Baptist junior, and I'm excitedtoday to introduce to you my
friend and my sister in Christ,Tiffany kelp. Me and Tiffany go
back from high school, but ourrelationship, as far as you
know, just the Christian starteda few years back, pretty much

(00:23):
right before COVID, you know, she kicked it off with my wife,
and we just kind of been coolever since, you know, I was with
her through her singleness. Nowher marriage. She's not white.
No more. I keep calling her TWhite, and I'm like, Nah, it's
kelp. T kelp, right, right, beautiful. So,
Tiffany is a devoted disciple ofJesus Christ and the licensed

(00:48):
minister with years ofexperience in ministry, recently
married to her husband Asherkelp. Tiffany has a passion for
sharing God's love and truth.
She enjoys traveling, findinginspiration in God's creation
and her favorite scripturefirst, Corinthians 13, four
reflects her commitment toliving a life rooted in love.

(01:08):
Tiffany's heart for people andfaith make her a dynamic voice
in the faith community. Welcometo the show tea. Thank you.
Thank you for having me. I'm soblessed to be here. So blessed
to be here. It is awesome. It isawesome. So
yeah, just wanted to let theaudience know, Tiffany's

(01:29):
definitely been an inspirationin my walk. She helped me in
some of my earlier years, stillkind of a babe, but just on a
super babe, I guess.
But you know, she definitelyhelped me off as far as just
being bold and courageous in myfaith, because I I knew I was,

(01:50):
didn't have no problem sharingor just being on fire for the
Lord, but just to see her inaction from time to time, it
just just made me step it up toanother level. So and
thankfully for that, I've beenable to help share that fire
with other people and help leadthem to a stronger, more robust
relationship with the Lord. So Ijust want to introduce you all

(02:12):
to my sister in Christ again.
Thank you again. Daryl. Um, Ithink this is more of a iron
sharpens iron ordeal. As youknow, you've mentioned that I've
been a great resource oraccountability partner. I think
you and your wife have done thesame thing for me, both in my
single students and also nowmarried, since you guys, you

(02:32):
know, have tied a years beforeus. So just thank you, thank you
again for being that for for usand and I'm excited to see what
the Lord is doing through youguys and with this podcast. Yes,
I appreciate that. So that's agood transition. We're going to
dive right into it this evening.

(02:55):
So who has been a significantspiritual influence and how have
they impacted your journey? Oh,wow, is this gonna be live?
No, I'm just kidding. It's socrazy because I've been
privileged, and I say that putan emphasis on privilege,
because many people don't havethat privilege

(03:18):
of having spiritual parents ormentors or people to help guide
them in this walk. But I havebeen absolutely privileged to
have so many different people inmy lives. In my life, I think it
really just depends on theseason. I've had a lot of people
in the season, in differentseasons, who really helped me
with this walk. I can say aspiritual mom is Dr Alford.

(03:42):
Marilyn Alford, AuntJoyce has been extremely also,
as well as Doc, been really goodwith helping me spiritually and
just with this walk with Christand just loving me.
Jocelyn Barnett, loving me how Iam, my pastor, my current

(04:02):
pastor, Norman bins, I just Idon't even want to name too many
people, because I getelder Jul Crawford,
my husband and I aspremarital counselor, but also
has been a hugepart of my process in the
season.
And, you know, had a pastor inministry school, Mama sherry.

(04:26):
You know, I have, I could have abook load of people, and I don't
want to miss anyone. So I'm justgoing to say that I have so many
and I'm just so grateful forthem all. Yeah, that's, that's
phenomenal, just to know thatyou had so many people pour into
you just and it shows itdefinitely shows it just your
demeanor, your character, whatyou stand for, and most joyous

(04:50):
of times and the most darkesttimes, it just oozes from you,
just the Spirit of God and ofcommitment and obedience. So
just seeking and serving hiswill. So you.
That's right, that you had suchpowerful people pour into you
over this time. Yeah, and let meI'm so sorry. And, um, let me
also mention my parents, ofcourse, because I would not be
who I am if I didn't have myparents. And my stepfather is my

(05:12):
foundation, and my my twograndparents, they've been saved
as long as I've known them, andjust to see how their yes to
Jesus has changed the trajectoryof our family dynamics. You
know, being able to be raisedwith not only parents who were
in the church all my life, butalso like seeing my aunts and
uncles in ministry as well. SoI'm really grateful for that,

(05:37):
and my husband, of course, I'mreally grateful. That's amazing.
That is amazing. Sorry. So tellus about the moment or time
where God called you to stepinto your purpose, and how did
you respond? Oh,I was fighting the age of the
Lord.
Um, it was, it was tough, andsometimes it still is tough, and

(06:03):
it looked differently indifferent seasons. I think when
I first found out,you know, I think I was okay
with being a Christian sittingin the back of the church, I was
really okay with that, you know, and I still am okay with that.
But then when the Lord started, you know, revealing to me the
purpose of ministry. I thinkthat's when I fought that more

(06:24):
so, becausemaybe sometimes we don't think
we're worthy, maybe we feel likeGod can choose other options,
other better options. Sometimeswe don't even want to deal with,
um,all of the things that come with
it, right? You know it. You knowministry can be messy. At times.
You have to deal with people.

(06:47):
People are human as well. Andsometimes you just feel like,
you know it just, I'll just sitback here and just love on
Jesus. But God has not called usto do that. He's called us to
serve his church, whether or notthat's a pulpit, being a pulpit
minister or not, but all of usadminister the gospel. So again,
a lot of that was me, not wasfighting what the purpose of the

(07:11):
Lord was. And then eventually Igot, I got. I got tired of
losing, because every time Iwent against God, I lost. The
Angel of the Lord beat me down, real bad. So I then I was just
like, You know what? Let me justfollow the will of God. And so
even though I'm surrendered toHim for the call and purpose of
my life, obviously, now itdoesn't mean that it still

(07:34):
doesn't get hard, but it lookedmore like me fighting all the
time.
Yeah, definitely, I can attestto that. I definitely ran
a lot, so anything for hisgrace, you know, decided to
continue to follow me untilI gave up, like I'm gonna fight,
ain't gonna run, because you'regonna find

(08:01):
me. Oh, that's amazing. So whatis your favorite Bible verse of
passage that helps you stayencouraged during challenging
times, and how does that look inaction?
Ooh, again. I think when westart off, you put them in my
bio. Talked about FirstCorinthians, 13, four talks
about love, right? And honestly,it changes a lot in different

(08:23):
seasons. Sometimes, you knowwhat I may feel closest to, I
think right now,in Matthew low, I am with you
always, even to the end of theage, and that has been something
that I've been standing on.
Because no matter what I see inthe world, no matter what I
feel, no matter where myemotions are, I know that he

(08:44):
will always be with me, even tothe end of the age. And so I've
literally been standing on thatscripture that's
that's phenomenal. Soyou know just that promise, that
He will never leave us norforsake us, you know he will
always be there. That's such acomforting feeling, knowing that
you know your Creator, yourmaster, your Lord, is just that

(09:06):
committed and dedicated to youregardless. I won't say
necessarily regardless, but youknow, regardless of how much we
fall. But you know, have a hearttowards him. He just seems to be
just so faithful.
Yeah, that he is.
That's awesome.

(09:27):
So how do you navigate momentsof doubt or questioning in your
relationship with God?
Ooh, these some good questions.
Um, I don't have a choice but totrust him. Um,
and I think we look,we have to look at our our

(09:49):
carnal nature. That's our flesh, right? We have to understand
that no Paul talks about it's aworrying between the spirit and
the flesh. And so I know.
So and my flesh does not want todo the things of God right. So I
have to not only have a posturein a heart to do the will of

(10:09):
God, but I have to ask the Lordto help me to do what's right as
well, even when it comes to mystruggles. So I have to pray and
ask him, Lord, help me withthis. Help me to maintain. It's
helped me to sustain. It'shelped me to move forward in
this. And even when it's thethings that I don't want to do,

(10:30):
wow, especially, I think that'sreally when it comes to hardest,
the things you don't want to do.
Yeah, and again, sometimes, obviously, we're gonna deal with
a lot of doubts. And it almostfeels like every nowadays I'm
questioning God abouteverything. I'm like, is this
you like, really, we reallydoing this? And so again, I

(10:52):
think it's just, you know, spending time in His Word and
just spending time with him andallowing him to direct our path
and just, and just let us know, you know,
let us know and also understandthat he knows what's best for
us. Yeah, yeah, good. I like how you started off
saying that you have no choice, and we were speaking a little

(11:17):
bit before we actually startedthe podcast, just just being a
mature in the faith, right? Justcertain things, especially when
you're walking in your callingand walking in purpose, right,
being to that higher standard atthat point in time,
you know, just justunderstanding that concept,

(11:37):
like, Hey, listen, we, we reallydon't have a choice. These are
literally commandments to notfear and don't be afraid. You
know, this is not suggestions, yeah, you know, these are
literally commandments. Now, youknow,
So Justin, I'm telling you,right?

(11:59):
So the fact that you even justtook the mature to that point,
like, hey, it happens I'm humanenough and real enough. I'm not
super, like, super, super pseudospiritual on to say, you know, I
never doubt, or I neverquestion, you know, because
life, life be life and andso. But at the same time,
despite the how much life, life's and you, you know, just

(12:22):
have that mindset, you know, asyour foundation. Hey, I have no
choice but to trust, but todepend, but to lean on him,
especially when things don'tlook right, or I still
like this might not be him. Soright, that's great. So good. So

(12:45):
how do you stay calm andbalancing everything?
Whoa, I'm so glad you're askingme this today and not last
month.
Honestly, it's, it's,it's a journey.
And I think it just depends on,you know, what it is in that

(13:06):
season. Um, it's not easy tostay calm at all and I and it's
hard to balance everything. Youknow, I have gone through so
many different transitionswithin the last year. Um, I got
married, you know, moved in myhusband,
my position at work, kind oftransitioned

(13:30):
to something different or more.
I transitioned to anotherchurch. So I've gone through a
lot of transition. And so Ithink what comes with natural
and physical transitions comeswith the emotional
weights that come with that?
Yeah, so you're not only justtrying to balance the natural,

(13:52):
but you're also trying tobalance the emotions of all of
that. And so II've learned how to stay calm.
It's literally spending time inGod's word. I know that sounds
so cliche, but spending timewith spending time with God.

(14:15):
Look, if I'm if it's me, I'mprobably gonna go off. If I if
it's me, I would want to go offevery day, but because I'm
reading God's word, and it'stelling me, do not be patient.
You know, love your brother, love your sister, and all of
these things that the Bible istelling us, then
I have to think on those things, and then those things end up
convicting me, right, andhelping me to stay the course.

(14:38):
I'm also spending time with theLord, right,
I think what's so important,which I was not doing a couple
months ago because I was justdoing so much and was unable to
balance everything and myemotions got the best of me, is
just being able to find somestillness,
being able to find some.

(15:00):
Quiet time, you know, we look atin Genesis, and on the seventh
day, the Lord rested, Godrested. So I think we have to
understand that rest issomething that is ordained from
God and that we need to rest.
And even in the resting, physically and emotionally, we
should be, you know, praying andhaving such a stillness with

(15:20):
God, and so I'm still learningwhat that looks like.
I'm still trying to obtain thateven with all that's going on.
And I find out when I when Istick to that, and when I'm
consistent with that, then I'mable to kind of like, stay calm
mer when balancing things out.
That's good. That's good. Justthe whole concept of stillness,

(15:41):
too. I don't think that'sreally talked about as much. I
know people have mentioned it,but as far as really pushing it,
I guess it's something I don'tfeel like it's pushed enough,
especially in this society, theWestern society, the enemy is
great at what he does. It justlikes to keep us busy. Feel
like, even if we're quote, unquote busy doing the Lord

(16:04):
stuff, right? You know, it's thewhole concept of not
appreciating or not revereseeing the ordination of rest,
right? So, like you said, justunderstanding a guy or dangerous
god rest, you know, his rest iseternal, however, still we work
and we supposed to rest, especially in him. So, right?

(16:26):
I'm glad that yousaid that even in Psalm 23 you
know, I realized one day, youknow, they say he maketh me lie
down in green pastures like yoif you follow in Christ, you
really have no choice. He Hewill make you
right. You make me. You'reright. So,

(16:49):
but that's good, that's good.
I'm glad that. I hope somebodywas able to get free from that
with the whole concept ofstillness, being alone with God.
So alright, can you share anexample of how God turned to
failure or setback intosomething good in your life,
otherthan me being damned to Hell and

(17:16):
turning my life around, amen, but um, because I was failing, I
was I was failing, pick me up. Maybe not
Pentecostal preachers, but um,I think what we can all resonate
mostly is relationships, right?

(17:37):
So I think most people have, youknow, dated and had setbacks and
expectations that have not beenmet, and just really a lot of
trauma and all the things inrelationships. So I think now,
currently, you know, sometimes when you get
out of relationships, especiallyif you're in them for a long

(18:01):
time, and you get older andyou're single, you know, you may
think like, okay, like, youknow, I failed in these
relationships, so, you know, itset me back. You know, I may not
have the time,as much time as I do now, to
find a spouse, or to getmarried, or to do it now the
right way, or all the things.

(18:22):
And so I think you know me justbeing married. I'm about to be a
year married. So we got marriedin January, early January, this
year, 2024,and this was something that we
were both intentional about. Youknow me and my husband Asher. We
were intentional about dating, intentional about, you know,
doing it God's way, and even.

(18:48):
And now I can look back at mylife and say that, okay, even
the other setbacks that I hadbefore with relationships,
whether I was the wrong person,or they were the wrong person,
or whatever that looked like, the Lord has gifted me with a
godly man, a godly husband forme in this season to help me be
and help me and be my purpose, partner for life, right? And so
I think that he's just soamazing. And again, I you know,

(19:12):
we're about to go on a trip thisweek, and I know I've been
stressing him outeverything ready for the
holidays, but okay, so manytimes I have to continue to
remember that the Lord gifted methis, and that my spouse, my
husband, is a gift.
So even when there were wasfailure and setbacks in other

(19:34):
relationships, alert redeemedthat. And so now I have another
opportunity. I have the gift ofmarriage now, wow, I don't think
people look at it as a gift, right?
Yeah,let's talk. Let's talk. In a few
years.

(19:55):
I think when I was dating him, Iprobably was like, I think we
had i.
Got an argument with him orsomething, and think the Lord
reminded me, like, this is myhe's my son, and I'm he's a
gift. He's a blessing, you know, and I want you to handle this
with precious care. And I waslike, This is my time. I'm like,

(20:19):
Oh, I have to remember that, youknow, okay, you know, this is
God's son first before he is myhusband, and this is the gift
that the Lord gives has given mein the season. I hope all
husband and wives are listeningand then and do that
respectively, right? And it'sokay if you haven't, you know,

(20:41):
it's okay to repent.
It's okay don't have to repentdaily, because you're
right. But I think that alsogoes and not just, you know, it
goes to dating, courtship, someone. It goes with, you know,
when you're on the job, you knowyou're at school, it goes in all
your leadership, your past, youknow, all the, all of, all of

(21:05):
that you gotta think about allof that. That's nice, that's
nice. That's a good mindset tohave, God, not even mindset a
heart set, I guess, right, tohave about it. Who's dealing
with people? Okay, well, I thankyou for stopping by today on the
give you all podcast before yougo. Would you like to share any
words of encouragement oranything that the Lord is

(21:27):
leading you to say, thank you somuch. I want to say thank you
first for having me. I'm sograteful to be here. Um, I'm
always excited to be a part ofthings that the Lord has his
hand on, or the Lord is, youknow, moving through,
if I was to just, you know, domy due diligence as a Christian,

(21:53):
therefore the kingdom is athand. No, but honestly, like,
we're just living in suchperilous times where we can see
that Jesus is coming back reallysoon. So it's the best time, and
no time like today to just giveyour hearts, your mind and your
soul, give your life to JesusChrist and repent for the things
that you've done, just to walkin obedience to His will and His

(22:15):
purpose for your life. And, youknow, join the church, get
connected, serve even when youdon't feel like it, and you
know, just continue to establisha relationship with God. He'll
meet you where you're at ifyou're faithful.
Yeah, that is good. So ladiesand gentlemen, um, like, like
she just said, you know, if youneed help, if you need prayer,

(22:38):
need somebody to talk to, pleasereach out. Um, the info is in
the show notes. I'm not sure teagonna let a social media tag
hang, or email or something.
We'll talk off, off toget my instagram or facebook
handle, if I'm you know, sometimes I kind of go off, you
know,things that are important, but

(23:02):
more important, but yeah, youknow we it's, it's a journey.
Being a Christian is a journey.
And we, we need people. Yeah, weneed people through this walk.
So awesome. I thank you againfor stopping by. I know the
audience. Someone in theaudience, including myself, has
received something that's beenmotivational and encouraging

(23:25):
just to continue this walk, tofight the good fight,
of course. Thank you so much. Mybrother in Christ, keep doing
what you're doing. I hope somany people's lives are changed
just by hearing, you know, edifying words on this podcast.
But I'm so grateful to be hereagain. Thank you. Thank you for
