In this episode of "Givers of GovCon," we chat with Anne Choate, executive vice president of energy, environment and infrastructure at ICF, and head of ICF's climate and environmental work. Choate shares why she's so passionate about climate change awareness and conservation, and the work she's doing with The Nature Conservancy (Pennsylvania) board and the National Academies of Science/Transportation Research Board.
Choate also mentions a Nature Conservancy graphic of the “biodiversity superhighway” and how the species will need to adapt along corridors of protected land as they respond to changes in climate. The graphic shows the NE corridor that follows the Appalachian trail and the importance of the work the Nature Conservancy is doing along the Kittatinny Ridge in Pennsylvania.
