In this episode of the Global Meditation Podcast I had the pleasure of speaking to fellow remote viewer Jeff Bogusz. Jeff has a fascinating story that includes an activation of the psychic phenomena called psychometry after a lightning strike, and the healing of a pituitary tumor using visualization techniques inspired by the healing journey of his uncle, and cumulating in the visit of a helping spirit. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing about some of Jeff's experiences, including the cultivation of "soft beliefs", and I am sure you will too.
Jeff's bio:
Jeff says he has a hard time writing a bio because he does not like to be defined. He has extensive experience in his primary field of confectionery research and development, but shuns the sort of titles that an HR department would apply. He prefers the simple title of “Candy Maker”.
The descriptor he does like is “mismatcher”. Someone who looks at the differences in the world and seeks out the differences that make a difference.
Associated with this, Jeff has cultivated soft beliefs. At one extreme soft beliefs are accepting things that you don’t understand in cases where they work for you. At the other extreme it’s being flexible with things you hold absolutely true - just enough - to also allow other possibilities.
As part of our discussion of Jeff’s healing experiences he mentioned two books. After we recorded the podcast he asked me to mention one more. “The Anatomy Coloring Book” is often an early part of medical school education. By coloring pictures of the human anatomy associated with a disease, patients can gain new insights in how to heal. Both children and adults seem to enjoy this activity.

Boysober
Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
