SPEAKER_01 (00:00):
Hello, and welcome
back to the Glory Culture
Podcast Show.
Today we're hanging out, we'retalking about some things, and
I'm sitting here with my can ofCoca-Cola with a nostalgic Santa
Claus drinking a glass bottle ofCoke on it, and that just makes
me happy.
And just baked some cookies, andwe thought, you know what?
(00:20):
We were having this awesomeconversation about the fore face
of God.
Let's sit down and talk aboutthis.
So hello, sitting here withDavid Yancy.
Hi.
Hi.
I love being real.
I hope you know that yes, we'reprofessional ministers, but
(00:40):
we're also real people that havea heart to see transformation in
other people.
And like for you to get to knowGod and feel his presence in
your daily life.
And it doesn't have to be overlycomplicated all the time.
Absolutely.
SPEAKER_00 (00:57):
I think there's a
simplicity of the gospel that
the Lord is really wanting tousher in right now.
It's gonna take uh a little bitof pride swallowing for a lot of
ministry leaders, um, whichwould we're no different than
any of them, but it's about justmy goodness, coming a
(01:18):
reintroduction to the compassionof Christ and the purity of the
Lord.
SPEAKER_01 (01:23):
Right.
I feel like God is just bringingus back to the simplicity of the
gospel, like truly, like he'sreintroducing himself in a new
way so that we could know thefullness of who he is, and we're
not just ascending into theheavens and like I love all that
stuff, but we have to havecompassion and love paired with
(01:49):
the mystical no, and and ifthey're not gonna identify that
uh and identify with it, there'sgonna be zero transformation
because you're speaking adifferent language.
SPEAKER_00 (01:59):
Shoot, most of the
church can't identify with it,
and that doesn't negate it, ofcourse.
The mystical supernatural stuffis the Lord's will for you.
And I love it.
Oh, it's wonderful, but thereare, as we were talking earlier,
there are four faces to theLord.
And for anybody that's like, ohmy gosh, what are they talking
(02:19):
about?
Well, we should read the Bibleagain, and we could look at
Ezekiel, and you've got thelion, the ox, the eagle, the
man.
And what this is, is this is aconstant, completely in full
agreement and unison, differentaspects of the Lord.
SPEAKER_01 (02:36):
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (02:37):
And we've been
guilty of focusing on one and
ignoring the others.
And, you know, it's like, excuseme, we talk about like my stream
is this, your stream is that, that stream over there that we
don't really like.
They they carry this, right?
Well, okay, I don't know whocame up with the the euphemism
(03:03):
or the the the metaphor ofstreams, but it's actually
really brilliant because all ofthe streams branch off of one
thing, right?
What would that be?
The Lord, the river of God, theriver of God that th flows from
the throne and of the Lamb, right?
We all come from one source, souh each stream is just an
expression of the main source, which is the thing that comes
(03:27):
straight out of the LordHimself, right?
And there is not a disagreementin the Lord about his natures
within himself, and so uh Ithink one of the things that the
Lord is doing right now is he'sattempting.
Now you have the ability to sayyes or no, Lord, but he is
attempting to express the otherfaces of himself to you.
(03:52):
Um, you know, the body ofChrist, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (03:54):
Right.
I feel like one, God is bringingus back to the simplicity of the
gospel, and that's not to belukewarm and do whatever you
want.
It's like, oh, I just read myBible and go to church.
That is not what I'm talkingabout.
I'm talking about the fullnessof who Jesus is, power and
demonstration, sharing thegospel, carrying the fruit of
(04:16):
the spirit, because Jesus was aman, fully God, yet fully man,
who had the fruits of thespirit.
He is our perfect example.
SPEAKER_00 (04:26):
So what it means to
be fully human, right?
The humanity aspect.
Jesus was fully in humanity.
SPEAKER_01 (04:34):
Right.
And if we're gonna, you know, bemade into his likeness and his
image, we need to havecompassion and love and power,
not just power.
Like I I love thedemonstrations, but there's
gonna be no transformationwithout the compassion because
(04:57):
all miracles flow out ofcompassion and love.
SPEAKER_00 (05:00):
Yeah.
And at the risk of going downthe critical road, which I'm
gonna try to avoid doing, whatwe are have seen for a while is
uh a lack of purity in motive, alack of, you know, the XYZ of
(05:21):
basics of this fruit of thespirit, right?
People that are flowing in thishigh-level prophetic or these
high-level miracles, but they'renot kind.
I'm sorry, uh kindness is afruit of the spirit, and we're
seeing that come back.
SPEAKER_01 (05:35):
Right, right.
My heart in this season, my cryto God, my God, is God make me
pure, God make me holy, God makeme righteous, and God expand my
heart, expand my capacity tolove people with compassion.
(05:56):
That is where the transformationtakes place.
When you can look at somebodyand give them a word of
knowledge, prophesy to them, andthey feel like enveloped by the
love of God and they feel seenand loved, that is where the
miracle takes place.
It's that heart-to-heartconnection.
(06:17):
God speaks, heart-to-heartconnection.
And if we're supposed to beministers, and and you are a
minister, you don't need aplatform and a microphone.
You are a minister of thegospel, right?
Yeah, we okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (06:32):
Yes, yes, uh, we're
we're getting the Lord is
drawing people back to the fruitof the spirit.
That includes kindness andgentleness.
And you know, I heard, yeah, anyways, I heard someone once
say, but I'm a high-levelapostle, I don't have time for
(06:54):
kindness, I'm dealing withthings in the spirit that you
don't know of.
And that's true, there is sometruth to that, but my lord,
kindness being a fruit or amanifestation of evidence of the
Holy Spirit being in your life.
If you don't have time to showevidence of the Holy Spirit
being at work in your life, thenyou're off course.
unknown (07:15):
Right.
SPEAKER_01 (07:16):
I I just can't
imagine Jesus being like, I
don't have time to be kind, Idon't have time to love.
Yeah, I don't have time forcompassion.
I'm too caught up in the realmof the spirit right now.
SPEAKER_00 (07:28):
Yeah, what we see is
two people being too caught up
in pride, but okay.
But yeah, like I said, so all ofthis came from this morning
because you're listening toother streams.
SPEAKER_01 (07:42):
Right.
Like, like I said, I'm goingafter purity and love and
compassion in this season, likereally, like never before.
There's just something on theinside of me that's like
gravitating toward this side ofGod.
And I want to be a realwell-rounded person, human, and
(08:03):
minister, so that I can portrayJesus to the world correctly.
And my goodness, listening tothis other person speak
different stream than I am,different language, doesn't
speak the language that I'm usedto or that I even speak, but my
(08:24):
goodness, it was pure gold andthe purity and the love from
what they were saying, just bydiscerning like their spirit, it
was like, My goodness, we needall the the facets of God, we
need everything.
SPEAKER_00 (08:41):
The streams need to
not be in disagreement with one
another or in superiority intheir own mind of that there's
no disagreement in the Lord,right?
And if all the streams arecoming from the river, then what
what it's not there's nocompetition in God, right?
(09:02):
And what we've come uh to expectlately is that my stream versus
your stream versus their stream, and you know, I've been cornered
by people from the most randomplaces, like in the church or in
the street, what's yourdenomination?
Like, stop.
(09:25):
There's nothing in the Lord thatis upset within himself, right?
This all streams from God,right?
Everything streams from God.
The river comes out, the theevangelistic side, the prophetic
side, the apostolic side, thethe the revivalist, all this
stuff is an expression ofhimself, and there is no
disagreement in himself.
SPEAKER_01 (09:45):
Right.
Do you think the four faces offour faces of God is like
competing against each other, going, look at me, no, look at
me, no, look at me, no, look atme.
Absolutely not.
No, it's not.
We need to know every face ofGod, not just one part of him.
Like, God, Lord, make us morelike you.
(10:07):
God, open our eyes right now,Jesus' mighty name, to see you
in your fullness, like everyexpression, Lord, show us what
we are supposed to carry.
In Jesus' mighty name, make usmore like you, God.
Draw us into your heart so thatwe can carry your heart, Lord.
SPEAKER_00 (10:31):
Man, yeah, no, it's
it's good.
Um it's yeah, it's it's gonna bea lot of fun to see what the
Lord is doing and to see who'swilling to partner with it.
Uh, because it is gonna changesome things, you know?
SPEAKER_01 (10:48):
Yeah, it's gonna be
messy.
I know that for sure.
This next move of God, like weare in a move of God, but like
it's gonna get messier and it'snot gonna make sense.
And he's gonna use crazy.
SPEAKER_00 (10:59):
But it's a good
mess.
SPEAKER_01 (11:00):
Yeah, it's a good
mess.
SPEAKER_00 (11:01):
It's an oily
smearing fest, it's an
orchestrated mess.
SPEAKER_01 (11:05):
You know, like um
me, I organized chaos, okay.
Like, but I know whereeverything is, that's what it's
gonna look like, right?
SPEAKER_00 (11:15):
Yeah, but it's all
for the perfecting of the bride,
Ephesians 4 11.
SPEAKER_01 (11:20):
Right.
SPEAKER_00 (11:21):
So, anyways.
SPEAKER_01 (11:23):
So, yeah, we love
you so much, and today our
prayer is that you open up theword, you dive deep into the
word of God, and just get toknow Jesus.
Okay.
We love you, and we will talk toyou on the next podcast.
See you later.
