Growing up at the heart of Mexico City, Israel Hernandez and his college roommates always had a passion for the fintech space and the behind-the-scenes technology of how electronic transactions were made. Acting on his passion, he created FinTech company, IDEA Co. Mexico which began as an electronic payment service then transformed into an electronic SaaS (software as a service) transactions platform for banks and gas stations in Latin America. After having massive success, he ventured off to the sunny city of Miami, Florida where he met Aaron Chavez and other colleagues. They came together and discovered that there were no financial education services or AI Robo-advisors that served a continuously growing Latino(x) population in the US. As a result, came DINERAZO!
