This is Debbie Egel! An attorney with over a decade of experience working with independent labels. She owns and operates a small indie label called E Music Entertainment for indie artists. Debbie has managed legendary and upcoming artists, is knowledgeable of the Economics of Music & the DIY process, has experience finding music, negotiating the purchase of music, writing producer contracts, registering music with the PRO’s, producing music videos, registering copyrights & trademarks, and soliciting radio play. She has also developed marketing and promotion strategies that include social media, merchandising, and PR. She’s even been on the road. Debbie has written an instruction manual called “For the Record” teaching independents working in the industry the basics from beginning a career to putting out music.
