This is a different kind of inspirational podcast, meant to motivate you, and also me. This will be a real-time journey, from now until I reach my two ultimate goals, and beyond. One day I will be a millionaire, and run 100 miles without stopping to walk. I haven't achieved anything extraordinary yet, but I plan to, and I know you do too! So follow along WITH me on my journey, and together we will take down our Goaliaths!
Only 2 training sessions this week, but they were both phenomenal efforts and I feel I still got better this week! It was also a full week of work so the paycheck should be nice! Also, the financial advice from last week was terrible lol, don’t listen to it. Maybe listen to the financial thoughts in this episode instead. Also, I went to the Library, got a card, and checked out a book! It already feels so much better to read on...
Honestly this week was close to the perfect, ideal work and training week! 4 double shifts, and my last shift going home early after getting close to overtime. 4 training sessions where I stayed focused and consciously trained. And most importantly, making time for Adri. That is more like it! The only thing that could make it better would be even more time with Adri, and having an HVAC job for work instead of a restaurant. Soo...
Another week full of double shifts with training sessions on my days off. So Still a full productive week!

And Adri was there to support me the whole way. Time to rest for a week or two, and begin training for the next race!

Seventh week of 5k training down! Late episode upload but it was a good, full, crazy week! I have officially ran the second longest distance I have ever run. This training is feeling so good, it gives me more and more confidence that I really can achieve the ultimate goal of 100 miles! The search for an HVAC job continues, but I am earning more money at Fogo for the holiday season so that is definitely relieving some stress.
Sixth week of 5k training down! My joints and conditioning feel better than ever! I also visited an HVAC job in person this week! Let's gooooo! Nothing has come of it yet, but still it was an amazing step that I've never taken before. I have a lot of good hours at Fogo this week, so that's nice too. It's gonna be another great week!

Third week of 5k training down, still going strong! This whole month has been a little tight financially since I didn't have any extra income from the father in law, but I've already had 2 interviews for jobs, and one of them looks promising! So hopefully this coming month we'll have a bit more income.

Second week of 5k training down, going strong! I spoke to my father in law letting him know that I wanted to search for an official HVAC job for steady work, and also I'm in the capstone module at school, and they said I am not required to appear, just search for jobs and come in whenever I want to practice something, so now my schedule is open for an HVAC job! I sent out applications and got a reply from one of them already...
First week of training down, 10 to go for the Doral Christmas 5k! The running journey is well underway! Unfortunately the financial journey isn't going that well. There just isn't enough work with my father in law. I'm now in the market for a job at another AC company. I am graduating from school very soon though so my schedule will officially open up! There's always something to look forward to!

I have waited long enough! It's time to stop waiting. I am officially beginning my running training for 100 miles, starting with a 5k race! I have an 11 week training plan mapped out, I race in December. The goal is 21 minutes! After that race, I'll start training for a 10k, half marathon, full marathon, and finally 100 miles! I may do multiple races in each category depending on my performance. But starting this w...
