So we left off chapter uh, goinginto chapter seven.

Uh, we began to talk about thepromise, uh, that came in the
covenant, um, that was given toNoah.
Amen, talking about, really,the promise, really, um, it put
inside of a capsule that saidyou know that the flesh a male
and female would preserve theflesh.
Uh, the cattle of a male andfemale would preserve the?

Uh, animals that walkfour-footed animals, and the
fowl would preserve the fowls ofthe air, and on and on, it was
one of each, a male and a female, to keep it alive.
Hallelujah, that was the planof god, he said.
Told noah, get all the foodthat you need for your family,

the food that you need for theanimals, amen, so that everybody
will be taken care of.
They will have, uh, theprovision that they needed while
they was in the midst of adisaster.
Really, yeah, amen, they werebeing blessed, but I'm sure they
was watching life justdisappear, one after the other.

So now we come into seven as webegin to see what happened.
Yeah, I don't know if you everread the story before, but
here's your opportunity, so Ihope you got your bibles up if
you're riding along in the car,got your ears open and ready to
hear.
Verse seven, chapter one no, no.

Chapter seven, verse onehallelujah said and the Lord
said unto Noah, come thou andall the house into the ark, for
thee have I seen righteousbefore me and this generation.
So after he told Noah to buildthe ship or the ark, he could

have very well said Okay, now wecan die with everybody else.
No, he told Noah that he waspreserving life and that he saw
the righteousness that was inhis heart, and so therefore,
that saved not just him, but itsaved his entire family and his

generation.
Amen, suppose he had not beenobedient on somebody.
Hallelujah.
Amen, suppose he had notlistened to what God had told
him to do.
Amen.
How many times have God told usto do something and we haven't
done it?
We could have changed historywith our obedience.
Amen, because that's whathappened with Noah.

Verse 2.
He said of every clean beastthou shalt take to thee by
sevens, the male and his female.
And of the beast that are notclean by two, yes, the male and
his female.
And of the beast that are notclean, by two, yes, the male and

Now I've read this story quitea bit of time.
Most of us know the story right, but I've never caught it.
I never caught this.
I'm going to read verse 2 again.
Listen to it.
He said of every clean beastthou shalt take to thee, seven,
take to thee by seven.
So seven, seven cows male,seven cows female.

Seven pigs males, seven pigsfemale.
Okay, so we're getting thatmath right.
He said and the male and hisfemale.
And of bees that are not clean,by two.

So he said Not only Bring theseven Of each animal, he says
Bring another one that's notclean About two, the male and

So you got Altogether.

He said seven.
So you got seven male Of eachmammal, clean, of each animal,
and you got two Males of eachanimal that are unclean.

So will say, well, why, come on, let's let spiritual intellect
work here.
Look, he said, of the fowls,also of the air, by sevens, the
male and the female, to keepseed alive upon the face of all
the earth For yet seven days,and I will cause it to rain upon

the earth 40 days and 40 nights, and every living substance
that I have made will I destroyoff the face of the earth.
Pause just for a second.
So not only do you have thebees, but you got the animals as

well, of sevens and then thetwo that are unclean.
Why would you want to preservethe two that are unclean?
Well, when we think about thisthing logically, if you preserve
the two that are unclean,doesn't that make the problem
still exist?
Yeah, I mean, why would you mixthe unclean with the clean?

I dare to say one word, andthose of you, those that are
listening, they are in the flockof ELCM.
Y'all know the answer.
I know you do, amen.
I know you know the answer.
But for those of you that don'tknow one word Choice, choice,
choice, choice.
It's just the same as in thebeginning, when everything was

perfect, beginning wheneverything was perfect, but he
put the tree that would allowAdam and Eve to know the
difference between good and evil.
Why?
Why did he do that Choice?
That's why Choice, choice,choice.
We live in a world where we havebelievers that take that

dynamic out of the picture andsay it's supposed to be this and
it's supposed to be that, whenclearly, in the word of God, he
gives us choice.
I don't care what is going on,you have a choice.
You don't have to choose theway of the righteous, amen.
You can choose your own way.

This is why he can righteouslyjudge each one one from the
other, because we all get theopportunity to make a choice for
him.
Make a choice for what's right,make a choice for what is pure,
making a choice of what is justand what is honest.
Come on, somebody.

Philippians 4 and 8.
Come on, we all get a choice,amen.
There's a whole lot ofborn-again believers that think
that they have the right to takeyour choice away from you and
then get mad at the ones whodon't take the choice away from
them.
I'm talking about within thefamily of God.

You get a choice.

He says look.
After he talks, he gives us theessence of choice.
He says now you're going to geteverybody, everything and
everybody on the boat, okay.
Then he says everybody on theboat, okay.

start.
So you, I can imagine you gotanimals, you got people banging
on the doors of the ark.

I would imagine they all waslaughing at them.

Y'all all on that, y'all all onthe boat.
It ain't no water, it ain'tnever rain.
What y'all doing, I bet you theylaughed at them, they made fun
of them.
They did all kinds of things.
Look, it's people that'slaughing at you, talking about
you, you know, gossiping aboutyou.
Then you see them doing that.
It ain't even never did that.

Why are they doing that?
They ain't nothing but a bunchof fools.
But you know what God told you.

Dismiss what they think,dismiss what they say, dismiss
whatever mockery they are doing?

They was mocking him, they waslaughing at him.

time it's going to destroy theentire world.
Verse 5.
And Noah did according unto allthat the Lord commanded him.
And Noah was 600 years old whenthe flood of waters was upon
the earth.
And Noah went in and his sonsand his wife and his sons wives

with him into the ark.
Because of the waters of theflood, of clean beasts and of
beasts that are not clean and ofvows and of everything that
creepeth upon the earth, therewent in two and two unto Noah
into the ark, the female and themale, as God had commanded Noah

, and it came to pass afterseven days that the waters of
the flood were upon the earth,pausing right there.
