Speaker 1 (00:19):
Amen, hallelujah, amen.
We could, but I won't.
You heard me Because Everythingis made for God.
Amen, this is God's word.
I just have to live.
Come on somebody, amen.
God has a plan For all of us.
If you don't know, know who Iam.
My name is Catherine Amen, pastor of Esposa In the home

(00:42):
here.
God has called me To open mybook and verse by verse, in the
word of God.
I have went through most of theBible, not all amen.
Different seasons, differentplaces.
I've been all over the word ofGod, teaching and preaching amen
.
But I just wait and lean on theLord, amen.

(01:04):
Wait for him to tell me what todo next.
Amen.
So that's the posture we oughtto have when it comes to the
things of God.
So if you're ready, I am ready.
So let's go ahead and pray, father.
We thank you so much for yourgrace and your mercy.
Thank you, god, for allowing usanother opportunity to get into
your word.
I pray, father, that you woulduse me to your glory.

(01:25):
I pray for every diamond thatis here that their hearts and
minds and their ears would beready to receive, hear and
understand what it is that youhave to say.
Pray, god, that you would speaka word into us that you would.
At the end of the day, your waywould prevail.
Father, we love you so much.
We're so very grateful and sothankful.
We pray it in the accident.

(01:46):
In Jesus' first name, we dopray, amen, amen, hallelujah.
So we are picking up here inGenesis 7, verse 11.
Verse 11.
I hope that you listenedyesterday.
I hope that you are not comingin the middle of the chapter.

(02:09):
If you did not, I would suggeststopping right here and going
back to Wednesday's episode.
Yeah, so that you can hear theentire chapter at least, if you
haven't heard the whole book.
Yeah, okay, so we are ready.
Verse 11 says in the 600th yearof Noah's life uh, so he's 600

(02:31):
years old in the second month,in the 17th day of of the month
the same day, were all thefoundations of the great deep
broken up in.
The windows of heaven were open.
Okay, so what was once theearth?
His life couldn't even see theearth anymore.

(02:53):
It was just water, water, water, because the heavens had opened
up, it says, and the rain wasupon the earth 40 days and 40
nights In the self same dayentered Noah and Shem and Ham
and Japheth and the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife and the three
wives of his sons were with them.

(03:15):
Into the ark, all the cattleafter their kind, and every
creeping thing that creepethupon the earth after his kind,
and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort, he
says.
And they went in unto Noah, into the ark, two and two of all

(03:38):
flesh.
Wherein is the breath of life?
Therein is the breath of life.
And they that went in went in,male and female, of all flesh,
as God had commanded him, andthe Lord shut him in and the
flood was forty days upon theearth and the waters increased

(04:01):
and bare up the ark and it waslifted up above the earth and
the waters prevailed and wereincreased greatly upon the earth
and the ark went upon the faceof the waters.
So it just means that I want toon top of the water, because he
was, you know, a very, you knowa very, you know the majority

(04:22):
of the ship.
Okay, and it says and the watersprevail exceedingly from the
earth and all the high hillsthat were upon the whole heaven
were covered 15 cubits upwarddid the waters prevail and the
mountains were covered and allflesh died that moved upon the

(04:44):
earth, both fowl and of cattle,of beasts and of every creeping
thing that creepeth upon theearth, and every man, all in
whose nostrils was the breath oflife, of all which was upon the
face of the ground, both manand cattle, and the creeping

(05:09):
things and the fowl of theheaven, and they were destroyed
from the earth and noah onlyremained alive and they that
were with him in the ark.
And the waters prevailed uponthe earth and 150 days.
So it rained for 40 days, itrained for 40 nights and then,

(05:32):
after it finished raining, itsays the water was there on the
earth for 150 days after that.
So 40 is that's going to be amonth, and nine to 10 days,
because you know some months got30 days, some months got 31
days, so, um, and then you got40 days, you got 40 nights, so

(05:57):
all during the day and allduring the night.
Then you gotta add 150 daysthat the water just sat there
and you know it's time and we'reseeing it, and so 150 days,
that's five months.
Yeah, that's about five monthswhere they were on the ark and

(06:23):
God had made provision for allthe animals and for Noah and all
of the family.
Well, no, I'm sorry, no, sothat's six months.
Yeah, for about six months, half of the year, they was on
this ark watching the rain, waiting for the rain or the
water to recede so that theycould start so much rain that it

(06:48):
covered the mountains and thehills 15 cubits above Above.
Remember, that's 15, I mean 15times 18 inches, and that's how
high above the hills and themountains they were.
Man, that's a lot right, allover the world.
Man, that's a lot right, allover the world.

(07:09):
Man, that's a whole lot.
Let's go on to 8 and see whathappens.
Chapter 8, verse 1, he says andGod remembered Noah and every
living thing and all the cattlethat was with him in the ark,
and God made a wind to pass overthe earth and the waters

(07:30):
assuaged, which is they began toreceive.
I think let's see what assuagedmean.
I ain't never heard of thatword.
Let's see is in the commentary.
Um, nope, let me see real quick.
I'm pretty sure it's receded orstarted to go down or began to

(07:55):
move.
Let's be sure.
I'm looking at my dictionary onmy phone, quickest thing I can
get to.
What's the word again?
A swaged, swageduaged, assuaged, assuaged.
Y'all bear with me A lot of A'sin the dictionary.

(08:21):
Y'all, make sure I'm spellingit right A-S-S-W.
Okay, so C is swab, a swag Okay, so, okay.

(08:53):
So a swag is to soften in afigurative sense, to alley,
migrate, ease or lessen as painor grief, to appease or pacify

(09:14):
as passion or tumulent, tumulent.
I'm saying it wrong.
Yeah, dissipate in strictnessit signifies rather to moderate
than to tranquilize or reduce toperfect peace or ease, to abate
or subside.
So yeah, they start to start tosink into the dirt, sink into
the earth, the water, becauseobviously he says he remembered

(09:38):
Noah.
So he says the fountains alsoof the deep and the windows of
heaven were stopped and the rainfrom heaven was restrained and
the waters returned from off theearth continually.
And the windows of heaven werestopped and the rain from heaven
was restrained and the watersreturned from off the earth
continually and at the end ofthe 150 days the water was

(10:00):
abated.
Okay, so it was to the pointwhere you couldn't see the water
anymore.
You couldn't see nothing.
I'm sure it was soaking justlike muddy.
The earth was muddy, you know.
Everything was just like.
It was just so soft that youcouldn't walk on it.
Yeah, alright.

(10:20):
So verse 4 says the ark restedin the seventh month, on the
sixteenth day of the month, uponthe mountain of Arat, so inth
day of the month, upon themountain of arad, so in the
middle of the month.
So the waters decreasedcontinually for the 10th month.
So there was only anotheradditional three months in the
10th month, on the first day ofthe month where the tops of the

(10:44):
map.
So they had been on this boat,on this ark for 10 months and
are just now starting to see thetops of the mountains.
Wow, when it came to pass, atthe end of the 40 days, noah
opened the window of the arkwhich he had made and he sent a
raven which went forth to andfro until the waters would dry

(11:07):
up from off the earth.
And he sent forth a dove fromhim to see if the waters was
abated from off the face of theground.
But the dove found no rest forthe sole of her feet and she
returned unto him into the ark,for the waters were on the face
of the whole earth.
Then he put forth his hand andtook her and pulled her into him

(11:29):
, unto him, into the ark, and hestayed yet another seven days
and again he sent forth the doveout of the ark and the dove
came in to him in the eveningand, lo, in her mouth was an
olive Olive leaf.
Plucked it off.
So Noah knew that the waterswere abated from off the earth

(11:51):
because there was a sign of life.
There was a tree.
Yeah, a tree is planted by therivers of the water.
We see that in Psalms 1.
Yeah, we are like trees thatare planted by the rivers of the
water.
Okay, this is actually the seedof a tree.

(12:14):
It comes from out of the water.
Now, ain't that something?
Yeah, amen, hallelujah,hallelujah.
So going forward, it says.
And he stayed yet another sevendays.
So he got two more weeks andsent for the dove, which

(12:34):
returned, not again unto himanymore.
They came to pass in 613 andfirst year, in the first month,
the first day of the month so wewould say January 1st the
waters were dried up from offthe earth and Noah removed the
covering of the ark and lookedand behold, the face of the

(12:55):
ground was dry.
And in the second month, sothey stayed another month after
that, and in the second month,on the, the seventh day or the
seventh and twentieth day of themonth, so almost another whole
entire month, that would beFebruary 27th was the earth dry.
Wow, right, he says.

(13:18):
And God spake unto Noah sayingGo forth of the ark, thou and
thy wife and thy son, son'swives with thee, bring forth
with thee every living thing, that is with thee, all of all
flesh, both of fowl and ofcattle and of every creeping
thing that creepeth upon theearth, that they may breed

(13:42):
abundantly in the earth and befruitful and multiply upon the
earth.
And Noah sent forth his sonsand his wife and his sons' wives
with him, every beast, everycreeping thing and every fowl
and whatsoever creepeth upon theearth after their kinds, which
went forth of the ark, whichwent forth of the ark.

(14:04):
And Noah built an altar unto theLord and took of every clean
beast, of every clean fowl, andoffered burnt offerings on the
altar.
So remember it was seven cleananimals, male and female.
This is why the clean animalswere necessary for the offering.
Okay, the offering is likesaying thank you, father, for

(14:27):
what you've done.
Yeah, it says.
And the Lord smelled a sweetSavior.
And the Lord said in his own,in his heart I will not again
curse the ground anymore, forman's sake.
For the imagination of man'sheart is evil from his youth.
For the imagination of man'sheart is evil from his youth.
Neither will I again smite anymore any.
Everything living as I havedone, while the earth remains

(14:59):
sea time and harvest, and coldand heat, and summer and winter,
and day and night, shall notcease.
So wrap up chapter eight with, basically, the Lord saying you
know, this one man, because ofhis obedience and his
gratefulness and histhankfulness, yet again saves
the world from going throughthis entire thing all over again
, whether it be good, bad orugly, you know.
God, in a sense, said I'm goingto deal with unrighteousness,

(15:24):
amen, I'm going to deal with it.
Nothing will cease.
He says earth remaining.
He said while the earth remains, seed, time for planting,
harvest, planting and gathering, cold, he said look, and summer
and winter, so there's seasons, there's circumstances, trials,
tribulations, seasons.
He said winter, so that'sseasons.

(15:44):
That's um circumstances, trials, tribulation, um uh, seasons.
It's a day and night when I cansee and when I can't.
He says they won't cease, theywill continue on because this is
a part of life.
Yeah, amen, that was a powerfulword.
Amen, a lot of that did not needcommentary.
It was, you know, prettystraightforward hall.
Hallelujah, amen, and I hopethat you received what you were

(16:05):
supposed to receive Hallelujah.
Let's go ahead and pray, father.
We thank you so much once againfor your grace and your mercy.
Thank you, god, for allowing usto make it through.
Yeah, just a little bit more ofyour word.
Thank you for your clarity andthank you for some understanding
For those who didn't understand.
I just pray, god, that youwould do it.

(16:29):
Only you can Bring revelation.
Father, we bless your name aswe bless your people.
We pray this and we do it allin your precious name.
In Jesus Christ's name, we dopray.
Amen, amen and amen.
I'm so glad that you stayedwith me for this entire week.
I hope you did Amen this entireweek of learning to live in
truth.
Make sure you come on back, join me with God's diamonds in
the rough, whomever I interview.
Amen, I hope that you'll behere to hear it and receive the
blessing of the Lord.

(16:49):
Amen.
So much love, so many blessingsfrom me to you.
Y'all.
Have a great night.
We'll see you soon.
Amen, amen and amen.
