(01:55):
I might put things up here andthere on on Facebook, but
primarily, my lives will be onYouTube, I know, monday and
Thursday.
I'm still waiting for the time, waiting for the time, most
likely somewhere between sevenand eight.
(02:15):
So, yeah, y'all, make surey'all join me on there live, and
then I'll be putting up videosin between as well.
Um, that is what is going on.
That is what is happening, yeah, and I am ready to pray, and I
hope that you all, we arepicking up in the 10th chapter
this week.
Well, today I like to call itroll call.
(02:36):
Roll call because that'sprimarily what we'll be doing is
me you'll hear me trying to sayall of these wild names.
You heard me, yeah, uh, solet's go ahead and pray.
Father, we thank you so muchfor your grace and your mercy.
Thank you, god, for allowing usto stay in this time, to be
(02:56):
able to get into your word.
I pray, in the name of jesusgod, that everyone that is here,
every heart, every singlediamond that is listening God,
will be blessed by what theyhear, and not just hear, but
receive from you.
I pray, god, that you wouldopen up our eyes and open up our
ears.
We might see it, we might hearit, we might understand it,
comprehend it so much so that wecan apply it.
(03:18):
We love you and we thank you.
We pray this prayer and all ofour prayers in the precious and
matchless name of Jesus Christ.
Thank you.
We pray this prayer and all ofour prayers in the precious and
matchless name of Jesus Christ.
We do pray, amen, amen, hallelujah, hallelujah.
So where we left off, as I said,we're going to pick up in
chapter 10.
There's a curse on Canaan.
It's Noah's grandson, simplybecause he.
(03:44):
Because Noah's grandson, simplybecause he, because he saw his
make sure I got it right.
Let's see Ham.
No, his son, ham, saw hisfather naked.
He kind of like stared at him, like whoa type of thing, and his
(04:04):
brothers informed him, informthem of what had happened.
And now there's a curse onCanaan.
So you have to know that whenwe read these particular um
stories and we hear aboutcertain people, there is a
history behind it.
Yeah, so Canaan is cursed.
Now we go Into the 10th chapter.
(04:28):
It says verse 1 Now, these arethe generations Of the sons of
Noah, sheem, ham and Japheth, and unto them were sons Born
after the flood, the sons ofJapheth, gomer and Magog and
(04:48):
Mediah and Javan and Tubal andMeshach and Tyrus, and the sons
of Gomer, which is this will behis grandson, or Noah's grandson
?
Okay, this will be his grandson.
Or Noah's grandson, okay, ash, kenis and Raphath and Togarmah
(05:17):
and the sons of Javan and Elisha, shea, shea, elisha Ha, elisha
and Tarshish, kittum and Dodanim, dodanim, do-da-neem.
(05:47):
Okay, y'all gonna crack up.
Y'all gonna crack up every timeI be trying to say these names.
But to God, be the glory and weget it.
Hallelujah, and you can too.
Amen, syllable by syllable.
I love my Bible because itbreaks down each word, syllable
by syllable, especially thesewords that are just just like
(06:07):
how in the world do you say that?
Yeah.
So verse five uh, he says bythese were the isles of gentiles
, divided in their lands, everyone after his tongue, after
their families, in theirnations.
So this is important becausethere were areas and areas and
places of separation.
(06:28):
And so it says in verse fivethat this is important because
there were areas and areas andplaces of separation.
And so it says in verse fivethat this is how they were
divided.
So you had the son Japheth, youhad the grandson Gomer,
grandson Javan, and then you hadthen he lets us know.
So you got three divisionsright there.
(06:48):
So he said these are the Islesof the Gentiles divided in their
lands by their languages or bytheir tongues, and so that's
just one of many.
You know how things areseparated and divided off and
(07:08):
how you got the tribes and allof these different things.
All of that is important inregard to history.
Okay, now going on forward, verse 6, he says and the sons of
Ham, cush, mezriam and Fut andCanaan, and the sons of Cush,
(07:50):
sheba and Havilah and Saptah andRamah and Shabteachah, and the
sons of Ramah, sheba and Dedan, and he began to be a mighty one
in the earth.
Okay, and I'm going to say thisagain, when we see in the Bible
, where you got a bunch of namesand then one name is
highlighted, that means it isimportant.
(08:13):
Verse 9, he was a mighty hunterbefore the Lord, wherefore it
is said even as Nimrod, a mightyhunter before the Lord.
Okay, that's what his namemeant, that's what he did and
that's what his name meant.
That's what he did and that'swhat his name meant.
Verse 10 and the beginning ofhis kingdom was Babel and Erech
(08:37):
and Atkad and Talnia, and in theland of Shinar.
Out of that land went forthAsher and builded Nineveh, and
the city were both and Calah andrecent between Nivea and Calah,
(09:07):
and the same is a great city.
And Mazriam begat Ludum andAnamim and Lahabim and Naphtalim
, and hath bruised him and castlew him, out, of whom came
(09:32):
philistim and and hath to him,and canaan begat sidon, his
firstborn, and he and thejebusite and the Amorite and the
Geigite and the Hivite and theArchite and Sinite and the
(09:58):
Arvadite and the Zemurite andthe Hamathite, and afterward
were the families of theCanaanites spread abroad.
Okay, so all of it's important.
This is how we got all thesedifferent lands, different
cities, kingdoms and on and onand on.
(10:20):
Okay, it all started with oneindividual who really began a
heritage.
As they went forth producing,he told them to be fruitful,
multiply.
And what was that word?
Grow in abundance.
(10:42):
That's another word.
I can't think of it.
I ain't going back, but y'allknow what I'm talking about.
You're okay Because it's a lotof.
And I ain't going back, buty'all know what I'm talking
about.
Okay, because it's a lot ofnames.
I'm trying to finish, yeah, finish, at least to finish out
the chapter.
So keep on walking with me.
Y'all bear with me, all right,verse 19.
And the border of the Canaaniteswas from Sidion, as thou camest
(11:06):
, to Gerar, unto Gaza, as thougoest, unto Sodom and Gomorrah
and Adma and Zeboam, even untoLashah.
There are the sons of Ham,after their families, after
(11:27):
their tongue, their country, andin their nations, unto sheen,
which is his last son, noah'slast son, he says, unto shame.
Also the father of all thechildren, of eber, the brother
of japheth the elder.
Even to him were children born, even to him were children born.
(11:57):
So Japheth is oldest, okay, he,and the children of Aram, aram,
y'all, uzz and Ho and Ether andMash and Ar I see Ar Arfaxed
(12:27):
and begat Selah and Selah begatEber.
Now, to Eber were born two sons.
The name of one was Helic, forin his days was the earth
divided, and his brother's namewas Joktan and Joktan begat
(13:08):
Almodad and Sheleth and Hazar, maveth, andla and Obel and
Abima'il and Sheba and Ophir andHavilah and Jobab.
All these were the sons ofJoktan and their dwelling was
(13:36):
from Misha, as thou goest, untoSefar, a mount of the east.
These are the sons of Sheem, after their families, after
their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
These are the sons of Sheemafter their families, after
their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.
These are the families of thesons of Noah, after their
generation in their nations, andby these were the nations
(13:59):
divided in the earth after theflood.
Okay, thank you, jesus, I'm soglad I made it through that.
Lord, have mercy y?
Y'all, but it ain't over.
The name of Genesis is filledwith a lot of history, a lot of
names.
It really filled up a familytree, but that's why I'm so very
(14:21):
grateful for it.
My sister-in-law she gave melike a scroll of the history,
everything that I'm seeing here.
She gave me a scroll that thehistory of everything that I'm
saying here.
She gave me a scroll that, forthe most part, details all of
this.
I believe she got it on.
Maybe type in scroll of Bible,I guess the many entities, bible
(14:48):
, I guess the lineage of these.
It's called Biblical Genealogy.
So type that in into the searchbar on Amazon and I'm sure you
can find it there.
It's very helpful when you are,you know, trying to do some
in-depth teaching and studying.
So I hope that y'all gotsomething out of that.
(15:09):
Even if you just didn't get alaugh out of me trying to
pronounce some words, you heardme Hallelujah, so let's go ahead
and pray.
Father, we thank you so muchfor your grace and your mercy.
Thank you, god, for allowing usto be a part of your history.
Thank you, god, for taking usback to where it all began and
showing us some things thatmight put some things in
(15:30):
perspective for people and be ahelp to them.
I pray that I was a help God.
I pray, lord, that you wouldtouch everyone that comes here
and that they be blessed by whatthey hear and what they
understand.
I pray, god, that you willcontinue to grow us up, continue
to draw us to you as we exaltyour name.
Father, we love you so much.
(15:50):
We're so very grateful and sothankful, god, for who you are,
and we also pray for that onethat said pray for me, whatever
might be going on in their lives, god, that you would give them
a peace to pass understanding.
Again.
We love you and we praise yourholy and your righteous name.
I pray it and we ask it in themighty name of Jesus Christ.
We do pray, amen, hallelujah.
(16:13):
