(00:00):
Welcome to the God's Goodness podcast, where our mission is to encourage and highlight God's
(00:12):
Goodness and modern-day miracles.
We are your hosts, Josh and Shelley Hankins.
Today we have with us a special couple.
We have Delise and Justin Buckles.
They are evangelists that we met just last week and oh my gosh, I, we were going to a
healing ceremony at Wendy Lawson's.
She has had a couple episodes with us, so go check her out.
(00:33):
There's a playlist in YouTube and she said, come to a healing ceremony, check it out.
And I had no idea what that went until and turns out there was a whole sermon and it
was so good that I said, hey, can we go live?
And so there is actually a live in Facebook with Justin and Delise.
Yeah, so you get to see what they look like and if you're interested in that and they
(00:55):
were just, it was on everything is on fire that night.
It was so good.
People were getting healed and it was just God's goodness being revealed.
And with that, the Holy Spirit, it was obvious they had to come on and they're too evangelists
and they're going to tell you a little bit about that.
Oh, that's my jam because on the gifts test, that's what I tested very high for.
(01:16):
And so they're my people.
So with that, but we're first, we're going to have them open us up with an opening prayer
and then we'll get into it.
Father, we just thank you for this evening in your presence with these wonderful people.
Every person that listens to this broadcast, God, I ask you to touch them in a special
way, a profound way that does something great to their life and the increase of your kingdom.
(01:40):
In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray that out of this service that people get saved and
that believers are raised up to be mighty soul winners for you before you come back,
Jesus.
Amen.
Amen.
Thank you for that.
So tell us, tell everybody a little bit about you guys and then what the Holy Spirit led
(02:03):
you to share.
Yeah.
Amen.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you guys for having us on the show.
Thank you so much.
Appreciate it.
Thanks for coming.
We do appreciate it.
Thank you very much.
We've been on radio, we've been on television, but never podcasts like this.
We're the first.
Checking all the boxes.
Checking it.
Yes, definitely.
And it's new.
We've had a couple of people say it was their favorite interview.
I believe it's going to be our favorite.
(02:25):
We believe it.
But I'm evangelist Justin Buckles.
This is my wife, evangelist Delisae Buckles and God called us to Central America Honduras.
That's our main mission.
We're evangelists here in America as well.
We come back every couple of months and we're here right now and we're going to do a couple
of months tour here.
We're going to be preaching in New York next week.
(02:46):
Then we'll come back to Pennsylvania and do a big meeting here and then we'll go out
to North Carolina, back to Pennsylvania, Alabama.
And then in Jesus' name, we'll get back to Central America.
When we preach every night of the week.
So tonight I'm preaching a message called doing the work of an evangelist.
And we believe with all of our hearts, according to the Scripture and Bible prophecy, that
(03:09):
we're living in the last seconds of the last days.
And then Jesus is coming soon.
And the Bible says the only reason he hasn't returned yet is because he is waiting in heaven.
He's being patient because he wishes that none perish.
So we're giving our all to the ministry of the kingdom of God and I couldn't do without
(03:31):
my wonderful wife, evangelist, Delisae Buckles.
Do you want to say hi to the people then?
Yes, definitely.
I just want to say thank you to Shelly and Josh for having us here.
It's amazing.
And I do believe in divine connections, you know, and I believe we met them for such a
time as this.
And as my husband was saying, we do believe we're in the last days.
So if you're listening to this podcast, I just want to tell you, listen to every second
(03:55):
of it because there's something for you today.
God has a word for you.
God has called us to preach the gospel.
And we were just talking to my husband that this is what we love to do the most.
You know, we were on the car saying the Bible says our nourishment comes from doing the will
of God.
Like our fulfillment comes from doing the will of God.
(04:16):
Seeing souls being saved, seeing people's lives transformed.
And we are a miracle.
You know, we came out of the darkness into the light.
And as the Bible says, God has called us to bring the lost, those that are lost into Jesus
Christ.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.
So that's what we believe we're preaching nonstop.
(04:40):
And we believe that the soon return of Jesus is right here, you know, and that's the message
that people need to hear.
So he can't get here soon enough.
Even in the New Testament, they were always praying Lord Jesus come soon.
Come.
Amen.
That's one of my favorite songs is come Jesus come.
(05:00):
Amen.
And he is coming.
But the Bible says the gospel must be preached across the whole earth.
And then the end will come.
And that's why this message is so important because it's up to us as believers to get the
gospel, the good news out to the entire earth.
You know, Jesus said, occupy until I come.
(05:23):
What I love that Jesus told Peter, he said, Peter, I'm going to make you a fisher of men
now.
You know, I'm an evangelist.
The gift of an evangelist is to be able to win people to Christ in mass, really.
You know, we do mass crusades and you see that in the book of Acts where we'll see thousands
come into the kingdom in one night.
But Paul also told Timothy, he was a pastor.
(05:47):
Timothy, do the work of an evangelist.
Make full proof of your ministry.
Paul was telling Pastor Timothy to make full proof of your ministry.
Do the work of an evangelist.
And then the Bible says that every believer has the ministry of reconciliation.
(06:09):
And that's why tonight's message is so important because yes, there are gifts in the kingdom
of God, like a pastor, an evangelist, prophet on and on.
But the Bible is very clear that every believer has a ministry.
And I believe the greatest ministry we can have is winning souls to Christ.
So tonight I really want to see, as I'm preaching to people, to get hunger in their hearts for
(06:33):
souls and actual Bible tactics on how to do it.
You know, I found out, Josh, is that a lot of believers have the desire to win souls,
but they don't know how to do it.
And that's even why we started a Bible school over in Honduras called the School of Evangelism.
And it's for this very reason because we're going to reach people that you're never able
(06:57):
to be able to reach.
And vice versa, you're going to see people on a daily basis and everybody listening to
this podcast who I will never get to.
You will never get to.
And God is relying on his army, that God is raising up an army in these last seconds
of time.
And Isaiah 2, it prophesies that in the last days, the mountain of the Lord's house, the
(07:21):
church, will be the highest mountain of all, the most important place on earth.
And people will be coming from everywhere to come into the kingdom of God.
So before I really get in the message tonight, I want to tell you guys our story, how we
got into ministry.
And I believe it's going to be inspiring to the people that are listening that God not
(07:42):
only can he use anybody, he can raise people up quickly because we were in the last seconds
of the last days.
And God, the Bible says he's looking to and fro through the whole earth, looking for somebody
whose heart is willing.
You know, his heart is a pure heart that wants to win souls.
(08:02):
And when he finds that person, he will show himself off mightily on his behalf.
And I believe tonight, as the word goes out, it's going to touch people and God's going
to see their hearts and he's going to mark them and use them in a great way in these
last seconds of time.
You know, the gospel is the good news.
(08:22):
And that's what we preach to people, you know, that Jesus is the only way to heaven.
Jesus said, I am the way.
I'm the only way.
I'm the truth.
I'm the life.
I'm the only way unto the Father.
And you know, it's only through Jesus Christ that our sins can be forgiven, that we know
heaven is our home.
And it's only by the power of God that we can have a transformed life.
(08:45):
So I'm a preacher.
Amen.
And I think, I think I'm a, I always say this when I'm preaching, I think I'm a pretty good
preacher and I dress nice, you know, and I look presentable and set.
But I wasn't always like that, you know, for most of my life, I was addicted to hair
and went methamphetamine and many drugs and I was bound and I tried everything to get
(09:08):
off drugs.
I don't even want to be on drugs.
I just couldn't stop, you know, I tried rehabs, medicine, herbals, you name it.
I tried it, you know, it ended up coming down to, well, actually on this street that
you guys are on right now, right here on Bower Hill, I got my first DUI driving under the
influence of heroin where I ran into the police station.
Well, I ran into another police station in Washington as well.
(09:31):
And now I say, what kind of idiot runs in two police stations?
The kind of guy.
Somebody under the power of the devil.
The kind God wants to get sober.
Amen.
Exactly.
That's true, Josh.
So I had four DUIs and I was looking at a 10 year prison sentence and I had never been
to jail in my life, but in one year I went to jail eight times.
Was it the Allegheny County Jail by chance?
(09:53):
Washington County.
Washington County.
A lot of people get saved in the Allegheny County Jail.
Hey, I think God saves a lot of people in a lot of jails.
That's for sure.
So anyways, I was looking at a 10 year prison sentence.
Now I'm in handcuffs for the ninth time and my probation officer says, listen, you've
been to jail eight times this year.
(10:13):
There's no more chances for you.
You're going to go and serve your 10 year prison sentence now.
Chances up, you know, at that point.
And at that moment I cried out from the bottom of my heart and I said, Lord, if you deliver
me and you'll save me, I'll serve you, I'll do whatever you want me to do.
And this judge that I would go in front of, he would always do what the probation officer
(10:36):
recommended.
So if she said, go to jail, he was going to do it.
Well, she recommended for me to go to prison and this day something different happened.
He got this crazy look in his eyes and now I know as the Holy Ghost coming on him and
he dropped his glasses and he said, you know what, I think we're going to give Justin one
more chance.
Instead of sending him to prison, he says, no, we're going to send Justin to rehab in
(10:59):
a halfway house.
And I already told you guys, I've already been to rehab and that never worked for me,
anything like that.
And I determined from that day that I was going to serve the Lord and I was going to
do whatever I had to do.
And it was during that time I started to do what I never did before.
I started to seek the face of Jesus in the Word and the Bible.
(11:20):
I started a Bible study.
I won the whole halfway house to Jesus.
So I became evangelist at that point and I found out it was during that time that I
got totally free from drugs.
It was my relationship with God that destroyed the yoke that I could never be destroyed before.
Jesus is the only way out of addiction.
He's the only one.
He's the only one that has the power to do it.
(11:41):
Amen.
It's very powerful.
You know, the Bible says the devil has come to kill, steal and destroy our lives, but Jesus
said, I came to give you life and life abundantly.
So I went to college to be a physical therapist and I ruined that career because of my 4 DUIs,
you know.
And I was praying one night in the halfway house and I said, God, everything I thought
(12:03):
I was supposed to do with my life is not going to happen.
Now see, I knew what a prophet was.
I don't recommend this prayer, but I said, God, would you send a prophet to me to tell
me what I'm supposed to do with my life?
Everyone wants to be told what to do.
Yeah, everybody does.
So that would be nice, right?
Yeah, it definitely made it a little bit easier for me.
It's like a prophet to do it.
It's very easy to do.
Yeah, right at the same time, if somebody came up to you and said, God told you that
(12:27):
you need to do this, would you hymn and haw?
Would you say, hmm, is this guy really from God?
And so like at the same time, it seems like it'd be the easiest thing in the world to
do it and also not.
Yeah, definitely something to pray about.
I'm going to tell you this part of the story and that's actually exactly what you're saying,
Josh, is what happened.
So after so many months, you're allowed to get a job.
(12:48):
So I have to catch a bus on the other side of town.
I have a job set up at one more job interview and I'm late for my bus.
So I'm going down this road and I decided I'm going to take this back alley to avoid
traffic and just be able to stroll.
So I'm flying down this back alley and I see this African American man coming from a
far distance off way off down.
(13:08):
And as he draws closer to me, I don't want to talk to nobody.
I just drop my head and I pick up speed and I start walking.
And this man jumps right in front of me, puts his hand on my chest and says these words.
He said, the Lord Jesus Christ has sent me to you today to tell you you're going into
the ministry and though you'll lead thousands to Christ before Jesus returns.
(13:33):
And that's why I even said this message says because Jesus is about ready to return.
This man went along his way and guess what?
I didn't believe anything he said.
Never once did I think about becoming a preacher.
I couldn't speak in front of public.
I was never able to do it, you know?
So never did that cross my mind.
I cannot imagine this.
(13:53):
Because I know you now.
Right.
So you guys have seen me preach and I can preach in front of thousands, millions, no problem.
Because that shows you the power of the Holy Ghost.
What's going to help the people tonight?
That power is going to help everybody start to witness for Christ.
So I couldn't do it in my own human strength.
So anyways, two weeks go by.
I never even thought about this because I didn't think it was real.
(14:14):
And somebody asked me.
I've been praying.
I've been praying.
Yeah.
I knew what a prophet was.
But I guess just, I didn't think it was going to be preaching.
So I feel like it was just off the radar, you know what I mean?
For me, as far as faith was concerned, two weeks go by, I get invited to a church service.
I go to the service, the preacher, he's late coming.
(14:35):
And I finally, he makes it there and takes the microphone and I look up and I realize
it's the same man from the back alley.
He turns and he looks at me and he says, I've been fasting and I've been praying all week.
And the Lord told me, showed me in a vision that you were going to be here tonight.
And then you didn't believe anything that I told you on that back alley.
(14:55):
He said, but I'm going to tell you again, you're going into the ministry, you'll leave
thousands to Christ before Jesus returns.
You'll have a ministry of miracles.
You'll pray for the sick and the sick will get healed.
And then he said this, God's going to send you places that nobody else wants to go to.
And the last thing he said, which is very, very powerful is you'll be in a full-time
(15:17):
ministry in exactly six months from now.
I never preached once in my life, but two weeks after that, the first door opened for
me to preach.
I'm still living in a halfway house and a pastor asked me to come preach at the church,
which is a miracle in itself.
And I gave my first altar call at 11 people came up and gave their life to Christ and
it's all history from there.
I never stopped preaching.
(15:39):
And exactly in six months, I was already in full-time ministry, opened up my own church
and was, you know, doing evangelistic services.
So God did that in me so quickly, so quickly delivered me and prusted me into full-time
ministry because time is short.
So Daniel 12 says, I should let me, let me go on with the story a little bit.
(16:02):
That prophet, I used to talk to him on the phone on a regular basis.
And I was getting ready to hang up with him one night.
And he said, the spirit of the Lord's coming to me and wanted me to tell you that before
the month of December, your ministry is going to go international.
And the probation system is not going to allow you to go, but God's going to work a miracle
(16:24):
for you and God's preparing a way for you.
That's what he said.
That was, I believe it was nine months or I think it might, maybe even 11 months away
from December.
He said, but before the month of December, this was going to happen.
But I knew when he spoke, put it in my heart and believe it.
So just like he said, just like he said the first time within, you know, all this stuff
(16:44):
is going to happen and happen.
And the doors opened up to preach in Central America, Honduras.
Went to the probation, I was on probation at this time.
I'm a full-time pastor, so on probation.
I think that might have been the only one in history, but yeah, God has a sense of humor.
He's powerful God and he's funny.
They'll use anyone.
Exactly.
He will use anyone.
(17:04):
It's available.
It's available.
It's just that simple available.
So I asked him, Hey, I want to go preaching Honduras.
They've asked me to come preach.
And they said, absolutely not.
You're not even allowed to leave the county, let alone the state, let alone the country.
Just stopped it like that.
Just like he said, well, there was this lady that started coming to my church.
(17:26):
She liked my preaching.
I didn't know it at the time, but she was the sternographer for my judge.
She worked with my judge and when she found out that they said, no, she made a special
appointment with my judge.
She said, listen, I attend Justin's church.
Like he's God has really transformed his life around.
You have to let him go on this mission trip.
(17:48):
And just like he said, God would work a miracle.
The same judge who was supposed to send me to prison who let me go.
God did that first miracle.
It's the same judge who now said, yes, we're going to let him go on this mission trip.
And it happened in the month of November.
He said, before the month of December, you will go and God is preparing a wife for you.
And that wife is sitting right next to me right now, who was my interpreter when I went
(18:11):
to Honduras.
And I say that because not only to build your faith on the awesome miracle power of God,
but when you say yes to God, when you say yes to building his kingdom, miracles start
to happen all around your life and through your life.
Amen.
And I just want to say something with that.
Like, I remember when he was about to come and everything seemed like he was not going
(18:34):
to be able to make it, but God opened away.
And the lady that was the judge's sternographer, actually you met her through street evangelism.
You used to do street evangelism and somebody at the Christian outreach, saw him do a street
evangelism, connected him with another prayer group.
(18:56):
And that's how he met that lady through doing the work of the Lord.
So God could, those divine connections, you know, and then we ended up meeting in Honduras.
I was his translator.
Then in a couple of months he proposed and I moved up here and we've been in full time
ministry since then.
So God has those mighty, it's like a Wi-Fi, like a spiritual Wi-Fi that he connects us
(19:21):
with the right people at the right time.
Social equity.
Amen.
And I was like, oh my gosh, but that puts the, you know, that's how important it is,
so in seats.
Yeah, exactly.
You never know.
You never know.
Yes, you never know.
Seek first, the Bible says, seek first the advancement of my kingdom and I will add
all things unto you.
Amen.
And that time there was a wife and many other things, you know, that I was praying for.
(19:44):
Oh yeah.
And actually that lady ended up paying for part of her wedding.
Wow.
So yeah, it was supernatural.
Incredible.
Yeah.
And it was after miracles, but let me get into this now a little bit.
The word of God.
Start off that testimony.
Daniel 12 says, and it's actually speaking of the rapture the last days, right before
Jesus comes back.
(20:05):
And in verse three, it says, those who are wise will shine brightly like the brightness
of heaven.
And those who lead many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever.
So you become a star for God when your number one focus is the advancement of his kingdom.
(20:27):
And you know, yeah, go ahead.
The tagline in my emails is we're here to make God a star, something they'll always
remember.
So for you to say that the star, I love it.
Amen.
And that's exactly what we want to do.
We want to make the name of Jesus famous on the earth.
(20:48):
So the question is, is how do we do these things?
You know, and you have to look at the book of Acts.
Now the Holy Spirit gives us many ideas on how we can reach people, but today I just
want to give some practical things on how we can reach people and get people hungry to
do it.
Get out your pens.
Get out your pens.
Exactly.
I see Jesus said, go out into the highways and byways and compel people to come into
(21:12):
my father's house so that my father's house might be full.
Jesus also said, you know the saying, four months between planting a seed and harvesting
a seed.
Then Jesus said, wake up and look around for the fields are already ripe for harvest.
I'm going to tell you the world is hungry for a savior.
(21:34):
It's actually not that hard to lead people to Jesus.
We just need the skill, the knowing how to do it through the word and the power of the
Holy Ghost flowing through us and the willingness and the willing.
Yes, once again, when you're willing, but that's good.
That's such an important thing when you're willing.
When you see that's how it started for me doing street evangelism.
You know, when I got into ministry, I didn't have any preaching opportunities right away.
(21:57):
You know, God opened things up as time went on, but I decided God, I'm about your kingdom.
See the first commandment, the best commandment of the Bible, it will fill all the commandments,
the Bible says, love God with all your heart, all your strength, all your mind and love
your neighbor as yourself.
So I decided, listen, I'm going to go out in the streets.
(22:18):
I'm going to lead people to Jesus because every person that walks by you is a soul that
will spend eternity in one of two places.
And we have to get the compassion of God in our hearts.
And one way to really encourage somebody is to realize that heaven is a real place.
Hell is a real place.
(22:38):
And everybody will spend eternity in one of those two places.
And we see from hell that it is, Jesus talked about hell more than he talked about heaven.
He is more about hell than heaven in the teachings of Jesus.
Why?
Because Jesus was warning us of this terrible place where there's weeping, gnashing of
teeth for all eternity.
(23:00):
And the thing about it is, is Jesus never made hell for human beings.
He didn't.
The Bible says he doesn't get any pleasure out of seeing the wicked perish.
The Bible says he set before us life and death, blessings and cursings, how he wishes we would
choose life.
So everybody has to make a choice.
But for me, it all started with the compassion of Jesus for the lost and dying souls of this
(23:25):
world, realizing that every person is going to spend eternity somewhere.
And Jesus already did all he can do.
He did it all.
He laid down his life for God.
So loved the world that he gave everything.
His only begotten son that whoever would believe on him would not perish, but have everlasting
(23:46):
life.
Jesus said, I am the way.
I am the truth.
I am the life.
See, even the Pope, he's one on national television and said, the Pope, this is, you know, so
supposedly a Christian denomination.
It doesn't matter if you follow Buddha.
Doesn't matter if you follow Muhammad.
Doesn't matter if you follow Jesus.
God knows your heart.
And ultimately one day you'll make it to heaven.
(24:08):
That's the biggest lie from the pits of hell.
Jesus said, I hold the keys of death, hell and the grave.
So when we have the willingness to go out, I always say this.
It actually takes more faith not to believe that Jesus is the only way than it does to
believe he is.
And this is how the early church evangelized a lot.
(24:29):
They evangelized through proof.
And that's what I'm going to teach tonight.
It is a fact that Jesus is the Son of God and he's the only way to heaven.
And how do we know that?
It's the same way Paul evangelized.
It's the same way that Philip the evangelist evangelized.
Number one is through prophecy.
Buddha never prophesied anything that came true.
Nothing.
Muhammad prophesied nothing that came true.
(24:50):
No so-called God prophesied anything that came true.
But 33% of the Bible is things that were foretold by the prophets thousands of years ago and
they have all happened with complete and total accuracy except the soon return of Jesus Christ.
(25:11):
And we know why he hasn't returned yet.
One through prophecy.
Two, and you don't have to necessarily go through this, but it is good for people to
know that the resurrection of Jesus, there's more proof of the resurrection of Jesus than
there is of many famous people who've lived on the earth.
I could take you to Buddha's grave.
I could take you to this grave.
(25:31):
Muhammad, all of them.
They have a grave and you can go to it.
But the most famous man that ever lived, and this is not my opinion, this is a fact.
Jesus is the most famous man that ever lived.
They have never found his grave after 2000 years because just like the Bible prophesied
that he loved us so much that he's seen us when we were in our sin and Christ still loved
(25:53):
us and died for us and that he rose from the dead.
He is alive today.
He's in heaven waiting for us to do the great commission and get the gospel out.
So prophecy, the resurrection of Jesus, the word of God, which my wife's going to teach
you on a little bit tonight on how to lead somebody to Jesus in one minute.
Because we want to be a little bit practical tonight.
(26:14):
You know, because like I said, people want to do it.
They just don't know how.
So for me, it all started with willingness, Josh.
I started going out in the street, not getting a lot of results, getting a little bit.
I started leading people to Jesus.
People would think, what do you even say?
What do you start with?
Exactly.
What do you start with?
So, you know, I did the best I could and God gave me results, but I got hungry for more.
(26:35):
I knew God, there's got to be something that works.
And ultimately it is the word of God, which she's going to get into in a second.
And it's just preaching the word.
That's what Peter did on the day of Pentecost.
He preached the word to them and it pricked their hearts.
You got to lead people to a decision with the word of God, which she's going to get
into.
And one of the things I want to talk about is miracle signs and wonders, what the early
(26:59):
church had.
And we've seen great results with it.
The Bible says many believed on Jesus seeing the miracles that he did.
Romans 15, Paul said, I have fully presented the good news, the gospel.
Why?
He said this way.
He said the Gentiles are fully persuaded that Jesus is the Messiah through miracles,
(27:27):
signs and wonders, and through the power of the Holy Ghost.
And in this way, I fully presented the good news of Christ.
See the gospel of Jesus Christ, the good news, it's a miracle signs and wonders.
And the church of America and around the world has to get back to that place where miracles
are the regular.
And that's the problem is people go through church for years and they don't see miracles
(27:48):
and then their faith isn't alive.
But when people start experiencing the power, we see blind eyes open, we see deaf ears open
all the time.
It's not like a random thing.
It's a regular thing.
And many believe on Jesus seeing it.
Babe, I want you to tell him the story about the crusade we did.
Let me just give you a little underline.
(28:08):
I gave an altar call like I always do from preaching the word, because the word works.
You have to have a little extra for some people who've been in religion for a long time or
you know, and just don't believe, you know, I don't like the Christian thing.
And so anyways, the altar call was full.
I don't know how many of them there was 50 to 100 people.
It was packed.
And then tell him what happened after that.
But well, usually whenever he does the altar call, then he just prays for people, right?
(28:33):
But he tells me the Holy Spirit is leading me to do something else.
Let's do another altar call.
So he does a second altar call call for salvation.
He starts doing the altar call.
But before doing the altar call, he said, I feel there's people here that are deaf
and God's going to heal them right now.
So there's this girls that came to the altar and he prays for them.
(28:57):
Two deaf girls.
Two deaf girls, one of them immediately.
She was only deaf in one ear and immediately the power of God hit her.
She fell down on the floor.
She was crying.
She could hear for the first time.
The other girl was totally healed as well.
Both were immediate.
And both are on the floor crying, right?
So then he does the second altar call.
(29:19):
Which I never do.
That he, like honestly, since we've been in ministry, I don't even remember another
time he has done that.
And I'm like, he's doing a second altar call.
Like, but that's just me, right?
Because I'm translating.
So the second altar call powerful and the altar is packed.
And there's this tall man in the back, like Josh, he's tall as Josh because 101 people
(29:39):
are not tall.
Josh is tall.
For us, for us, man, he could pop up in the middle of the crowd.
He's in the back.
He was staring at us full of tattoos, arms crossed like he didn't have a face.
He was like, but as he does the altar call, he comes to the front, right?
(30:01):
He gives his life to Jesus.
He's holding the girl's hand.
She was his daughter, one of the girls that got healed, that she was deaf.
And they both come to the altar crying.
And I remember Justin praying for him.
He went out into the power of God on the floor, touched by the Holy Spirit.
(30:22):
And we have talked to the people from the church that was their first time coming to
church.
And since then, the whole family is saved.
They're all serving God in that church.
They're all together.
And their lives have been totally transformed.
And it all started with one miracle, actually being obedient and hearing the voice of the
(30:44):
Holy Spirit.
Because the Holy Spirit told us and prayed for deaf people, then do a second altar call.
They got saved and their lives are totally transformed.
And the awesome thing is that they're serving God.
And also, we just give glory to the Lord.
And the second altar call was bigger than the first one.
Because the people witnessed all the miracles.
It really awakens people up.
(31:05):
Amen.
I just want to say this.
We've ministered tons of times in many places.
The last four months, we preached almost every night.
But that night, probably, it's in our hearts.
It's one of the biggest moves of God we've ever seen.
It's just for being obedient to the voice of the Lord.
And that works out anywhere.
(31:26):
Back when I used to do a lot of street evangelism, I remember going into Walmart.
And I seen a lady.
She just looked like she was in pain.
Wasn't like God told me she was in pain.
She just looked like she was in pain.
And I went up to her and I preached to her, like, we're going to teach you guys to do,
which is a very high success rate of working.
And she said, no, no, I don't want to hear about God.
(31:47):
You know?
I said, well, you look like you're in a lot of pain.
Where's your pain at?
You know?
And I said, in my back, I said, what if God healed you right now?
Wouldn't you do it then?
She was another lady.
You look pretty mean, rough.
And I was quick.
I said, I'm going to pray for you.
Pray for her immediately.
All of her back pain left.
And I said, one out of 10, there was a level 10 back pain.
So full pain, you know?
Immediately she bends over before she even reaches back up, tears are streaming down her
(32:10):
eyes and she gives her life to Christ.
The woman whose heart was so hardened towards God was immediately opened up to God.
So we have to, as the body of Christ, we have to believe for the power of God to be manifested.
And early on in my ministry, I didn't see results right away.
I prayed for people in the end to get healed.
(32:30):
But I kept going because I knew that it was the master key of the gospel.
Jesus said, go into all the world.
See people already have religion.
Go into all the world.
They've already had something they believe and preach the good news to them.
And these signs will follow them who believe.
They'll lay their hands on the sick.
The sick will recover.
(32:51):
They will cast out demons.
I usually not serve as they go by when we don't see demons cast out of people.
And it changes people and it makes God.
And you start to really realize God is in your midst all the time.
He's here right now, you know, and he's a powerful God.
So miracles are important.
It's something we should be hungry for.
And I got really hungry for it at the beginning of my ministry because I didn't see the results
(33:13):
right away.
Same thing happened in the great evangelist, T.L.
Osborn.
He was preaching in, I believe, India.
And even in their religion, they believe in Jesus.
You know, he was a prophet.
They just cut it off where they say he's the son of God, you know, and they were listening
to his preaching, but he wasn't getting results.
You know, he got hungry.
He started fasting, praying, God, like, you've got to give me something that's going to reach
(33:37):
these people.
And Jesus actually visited him and released the power of God to him.
And he went back to India and it's, we preach in a hundred Honduras and we hear stories
of T.L. Osborn coming and the government coming and the multitudes coming because God gave
them something that was able to reach the people beyond the word.
Now the word is the most powerful thing, you know, it's what pricks the heart.
(34:01):
There's something when you release the word, the Holy Ghost, it's a miracle in itself,
really, because people are just saying it's telling somebody the word.
It's just like a dry thing.
It's not, it is a powerful thing.
I always encourage people, go out and approach people.
Your flesh doesn't want to do it, trust me.
The Bible says your flesh is at war with your spirit and your spirit is at war with your
(34:23):
flesh to keep you from doing the things you really want to do.
See their things as believers, what you really want to do and the flesh gets in the way.
And so I always tell people, go up to somebody with a teardrop tattoo, the biggest looking
guy and start with him.
If you can get to him and you can talk to anybody.
That reminds me of what Todd said in his look for the person in the family that can
(34:48):
change everyone else after them.
In sales, you could call it selling to the monkey, the one who's more agreeable.
So if you're sitting down with a husband and a wife and you're talking and you're using
all that body language and the wife is doing this, you talk to her.
She's going to convince him.
And if he's the one that's enthralled with what you're saying, then you talk to him
(35:09):
and you're selling to him and he will lead the other one.
And so you focus on the one that's more agreeable and let God work through that person closer
to everybody else in his family or her family.
That's smart.
And the Holy Ghost gives us great ideas like that because that's a promise of the Bible
that I said in the book of Acts all the time, you and your whole household will be saved.
(35:33):
Sometimes you got to pinpoint a certain person first.
And what we're about to teach the last part is we do this in a multitude of people too.
Like I'll be out in the streets.
I won't always go up to one person.
Sometimes we'll go up to five people at a time, get a whole group together and hit them
with what we call the soul winning script.
Really though, before she teaches on that, I'm just going to give an altar call to the
(35:54):
other people that are listening.
You know, we're going to teach, finish this teaching on how to win souls, but there could
be people listening right now that even their own soul isn't one.
The Bible says, what is it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his soul?
And there could be people that's listening that they've gone through their whole life
and they've never given their life to Jesus.
(36:15):
I want to just tell you what the Bible says.
Today is the day of salvation.
If there's ever a time in history where you do not want to put off being right with God,
it's in the time we're living in right now.
If Jesus is coming back at 12 o'clock, it's 1159, 59 right now.
The disciple said, Jesus, how will we know when you're going to return?
(36:39):
And he said many things, but he said something very specific.
He said, when you see the fig tree, but again, he was talking about Israel, the generation
that sees it with their eyes will not come to pass before I return.
So Israel was not a nation and people never thought it would be a nation again, but just
(37:00):
like Jesus said, the Bible also prophesied about Israel, could a nation be born again
in one day's time?
So in the 1940s, the devil raised up a man named Adolf Hitler.
See that's an important thing too, a man.
And the devil needs a man and God needs a man or a woman to do his work.
You know, none of them are just working on their own.
(37:21):
They're working through humans.
And he raised up a man to wipe off the Jewish population off the earth, to stop that prophecy
from being fulfilled.
But the devil's a failure.
And just like the Bible prophesied, in one day's time, in 1948, Israel became a nation
again.
And Jesus said, when you see this happen, the generation that sees it will come back
(37:44):
and that sees it with their eyes will not come to pass before I return.
If you do the math and when 1948 was, we're coming to that very end right now.
The last person to be able to live a life, let's just say a generation's 100 years,
you know, people not fully sure on that part, whether it's 80, 70 or 100, still there's
(38:05):
not much time left.
Tick tock.
Tick tock.
And it's up to us.
And if you're listening to now and you've never given your life to Christ, I urge you
to do it now.
Paul said, I work hard to persuade men knowing the soon terror of the Lord.
And Jesus does not want you to experience that terror.
And that's why we're preaching to you tonight.
(38:26):
That's why they have this podcast because we love you and we love people like Jesus
loves you to maybe you're listening now and you once gave your life to Christ, but you
fallen away from him.
You're not living for him as you should.
I got good news for you too.
Jesus leaves the 99 to get the one who has fallen away.
You can come back to him tonight and determine you're going to live for him until you hear
(38:50):
that trumpet sound, which is called the rapture of the church.
It is a real event that's going to happen.
And Jesus is going to come get us soon.
And we're going to catch away out of this world into heaven.
And I'm looking forward to it.
So if you're following any of those categories, I want you to pray with me right now.
The Bible says, if you believe in your heart that Jesus is the Messiah and that he rose
(39:11):
from the dead and you confess it with your mouth, you will be saved.
This isn't some religious prayer.
Jesus is with you right now.
Don't let this moment pass you by for God so loved you that he gave his only begotten
some that whoever would believe on him would not perish.
(39:31):
So pray this with me right now.
Say it from your heart.
Say it out of your mouth loud to God and God's going to meet you right now in your living
room, right in your car, right in your office, wherever you're at.
Say Lord Jesus Christ, I call on you today.
Forgive me of all my sins.
Cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
(39:51):
Jesus, I believe you're the only way to heaven.
I believe you rose from the dead.
Make me new right now.
And from this day forward, God, I will only follow you.
God you are my father.
Heaven is my home and I will not turn back in Jesus.
If you pray that, I'm telling you your sins are forgiven.
(40:14):
Heaven is your home.
Going into the last part right now, tell them, babe, how to lead somebody to Christ in a
minute's time.
Well, we learned this strategy last summer.
We went to a summer school of evangelism in the River Tampa Bay.
And I remember that they would say, you can lead somebody to the Lord in a minute and
I'm like, how is that possible?
(40:35):
It seems impossible, but with God, all things are possible.
So God gave this, this is just a strategy.
Somebody's listening and you're listening to this.
This is just a strategy.
It's not written down in rocks.
You can let the Holy Spirit lead you on how to do it, but this is how we do it.
First of all, as we were all talking, we have to be willing to go.
(40:57):
And the Holy Spirit is the one that touches people's hearts.
So you have to be full of the Holy Spirit, pray it up and then you just go because God
doesn't sit with the sitters.
He goes with the goers.
So we need to go.
It's not going to happen in your couch.
It's not going to happen watching TV.
You have to go to the streets.
(41:18):
So you just go to one person.
We recommend that you always go in couples.
The Bible says that Jesus sent the disciples in couples, in twos, you know, so there should
be always somebody with you.
It's good to have somebody with you.
I used to go alone all the time.
Just for wisdom, you know.
Just for wisdom.
It's an advice that we give, right?
(41:41):
So the first thing, this is called the gospel soul winning script.
It's in all the languages.
It's online.
You can look it up or we can post it whenever we can put it on the notes in the description.
The first thing you ask a question.
Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that he has a wonderful plan for your
(42:02):
life?
You just approach people.
You don't ask them if they have a minute.
You are compelling people.
There's an urgency, you know, and you know, American people, if you ask them, hey, do
you have a minute, people are going to say no.
So you just go straight.
All right.
Can I pray for you?
No.
And people are going to say no.
Just go right up to them.
So you ask them something.
It's a yes or no question.
(42:24):
Has anyone ever told you that God loves you and that he has a wonderful plan for your
life?
So you say yes.
No.
Nobody has told me or most people say yes.
And then you go quickly to the second question.
Because remember, people don't have time.
This is not something that they want to be all day long.
You got a minute.
You have a minute to do this.
I have a real quick, but important question to ask you.
(42:47):
If you were to die this very second, do you know for sure be on a shadow of a doubt that
you would go to heaven?
Some people would say yes, because I've been a good person.
Other people would say no, I'm not sure.
And that's whenever you tell them, we recommend you to get this script and you just read the
(43:07):
script.
And you say, depending on what they answer, you say, let me quickly share with you what
the Holy Bible reads.
We are teaching or preaching the word because the word always works.
And as I'm telling you this, I remember going out in Tampa, I was in Walmart and I was doing
my training with this old winning script.
(43:29):
We go to this couple and I did the same thing.
I'm like, has anybody told you that God loves you and he has a great plan for your life?
And the husband said, no, we are Catholics and we don't want to hear about it.
So you keep going with the script.
That's what you do.
So then I'm like, let me ask you a quick question.
If you were going to die today, do you know without a shadow of a doubt if you would go
(43:50):
to heaven?
And they said, no, they didn't know.
They weren't sure if they were going to go to heaven.
And then I went with the script.
Let me quickly share with you what the Holy Bible says.
It says that we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God and for the wages of sin
is death.
But the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(44:12):
And the Bible also says that whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
And you're a whosoever, right?
That's what I told them.
They said, yes.
And then we kept going with the script.
And then I'm like, just repeat after me, dear Lord Jesus.
And they said, dear Lord Jesus, as they said, dear Lord Jesus, the wife starts crying like
(44:34):
a baby.
Dear Lord Jesus, come into my heart, forgive me of my sins.
I repent of my sins today.
I ask to be away from my old life.
My sins are forgiven.
Get my name in the Lamb's Book of Life from today.
I'm a new person and they prayed with me, both of them prayed with me, the prayer of
(44:56):
salvation.
Then as we are praying, the Holy Spirit showed me like a vision of her.
She had problems to sleep.
She was suffering of anxiety.
So I started praying for her and she was totally delivered.
She was totally free.
And they asked me for the information of the church and they said they were going to start
going to the church.
Three scriptures.
(45:17):
Three scriptures.
So tell them real quick again, three scriptures.
Three scriptures.
Everybody has sinned.
Everybody has sinned and has fallen short of the glory of God.
And the wages of sin is eternal death.
But then it says, but the Bible also says that the gift of God is eternal life through
Jesus Christ our Lord and whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(45:39):
And all those are the word.
Everything that I said is the word and the word always works.
So we just want to encourage you.
This is a strategy.
As I said, they're going to write it on the description.
It's a way that you can win somebody to the Lord.
And maybe you might be asking, what if I cannot take them to church?
What if I cannot?
(46:00):
The Bible says that somebody plants the seed.
Another person waters the seed and probably another person's going to see the fruit of
that seed that you planted.
But definitely invite them though.
Invite them to church.
But you need to go.
You need to see the church.
You need to go and you need to start going and letting the Holy Spirit direct you because
the time is now.
And as my husband said, today is the day of salvation.
(46:22):
And we've seen tons of people say this thing works.
I've been there for years before we went there.
It works.
Last time I said, do the work of an evangelist and make foolproof of your ministry and Jesus.
Amen.
Amen.
I have listened to a YouTuber.
He does more than you to where his name is Ray Comfort.
Oh yeah, Ray.
And he is a church of living waters.
And his evangelism is almost spot on to that.
(46:45):
He has a few other qualifying things and gets him going.
He modifies it, makes it his own.
He starts off with that.
Are you, or do you know where you're going to go?
Yes.
Yes.
And so when you said that, it's like, hey, that sounds, that sounds very familiar.
And you know, he has, he evangelizes, he has testimonies.
He's got lots of people that have been changed by the power of Jesus in their life when they
(47:06):
realize, like when they get all the pieces laid in front of them, they can see all the
information and they can finally make an informed decision.
Sure.
Right.
I've watched his videos as well.
Yeah, it's, it's a horrible stuff.
Yeah.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, you said that I was like, oh, this is so incredible, you know, that's exactly
what this other guy does.
Yeah, yeah.
That's fun.
Yeah.
What he does works well.
He does it longer.
(47:27):
I think he tells him ahead of time though, you know, take a little time, but yeah.
But you just have to trust the Holy Spirit, you know, because it does work in the last
testimony about that.
One of the girls that was part of the School of Evangelism, she said that somebody approached
to her because in Tampa, this is common.
This church goes out every day with tons of people to do evangelism.
(47:48):
She did the script.
She said that at the moment, I'm like, I don't care.
I'm just going to do it for this lady to leave me alone.
But something was planted there.
Months went by, she was on drugs.
She was addicted to heroin.
She was addicted to meth.
She was about to go to jail.
She was in her car and she said, Lord, I cannot do this anymore.
(48:09):
She said that she remembered the prayer that she did with this lady that was the script.
The power of the Holy Spirit came upon her.
She said that day she was free from addiction, from heroin, from meth.
She found the church, the river church, and she started assisting to the church congregating
there.
She's in Bible school and now she's in full-time ministry.
(48:31):
And she says it started with a script.
I didn't understand what I was saying.
I didn't understand what I was doing, but the Holy Spirit knows your heart.
And He's the one that leads you into salvation.
Praise God.
We praise the Lord for that.
I was wondering if we can end this, if you can end it with a blessing and if you could
translate into Spanish for the start of our new season, to just include another group of
(48:56):
people that we are unable to reach because we don't speak Spanish.
So I'd love to have a blessing.
If you could just speak a blessing and if you could repeat that blessing.
I think that would be a wonderful thing.
That's great.
Well, thanks again for having us on.
And yeah, amen.
Let's pray.
Amen.
Vamos a abra.
Father, we just thank you for this wonderful evening.
(49:17):
Don't let this word come back void, but transform these people into mighty soul winners.
And we bless this ministry in Jesus' name.
Let it bear double the fruit this year than it did last year.
(49:39):
For the glory of your name and the increase of your kingdom.
And every person listening at the sound of my voice.
God is with you right now.
And I call you blessed.
Amen.
And I call you blessed in Jesus' name.
(50:02):
And may the days ahead of you be the greatest stage of your life.
Because the Bible says we go from glory to glory.
Victory to victory.
Strength to strength.
So God bless you.
In Jesus mighty name.
I love you so much.
Amen.
(50:23):
And no bit more pronto.
See you soon.
That's awesome.
Thank you so much.
Thank you guys.
Thank you so much.
I can feel the Holy Spirit.
I got the tears going and stuff.
And it was just a delight to have you guys with us.
We have to do this again soon.
We can do that.
We can do what we want.
(50:44):
That's right.
You guys can.
It's good.
It's good.
And whatever the Holy Spirit wants for sure.
Amen.
All right.
And then if this has been a blessing to you, we ask that you pass it along to a friend
or family member that the Holy Spirit put on your heart.
And we hope that you are encouraged by this and can encourage others with this podcast.
And if you want to join our email list, there's a link for that in the about section.
(51:08):
And if you are inspired to give to this ministry, we got a new studio that we're sitting in.
These are our first guests.
And that money would help and just update the studio.
So it's good gifts for professional studio in-house.
Amen.
What a blessing God has blessed us with.
And it's just, I can't wait to see what he does for this next year.
(51:28):
Amen.
And it's good.
You guys are believing for videos stuff this year?
Yes.
Yes.
I have people that the Lord keeps placing me within like their expertise is in these
things.
And so I just pick their brain.
I'm like, what do I do?
So I got lighting.
So that'll be neat.
And then, well, I got one light that's for social media, but just baby steps.
(51:51):
And we'll have like a wish list and then God will make it happen.
Exactly.
He will.
He will definitely.
So it'll be so good.
He has so far.
Come in.
We are definitely believers.
We have definitely been through some things.
We definitely know his power.
We definitely know he is for us.
Amen.
Amen.
We have seen healings.
We believe miracles.
Yes.
(52:12):
There is nothing in this world can throw at us that would dissuade our belief in our
God.
Amen.
I was also on heroin once.
And I was healed of 17 years of chronic neck and shoulder pain for those of you who don't
know yet.
So we'll just throw that out there.
So I'm a believer.
Come on.
Hallelujah.
Oh, goodness.
Well, with that, we'll talk to you next time.
(52:33):
Thank you.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
Bye.
