The quality of our relationships provides the clearest evidence of our connection with God and our ability to channel His love to others. Like a doctor examining a physical heart, we must regularly check our spiritual heart to ensure we're properly reflecting God's love. This divine love differs fundamentally from human love - it's unconditional, unlimited, and looks past all deficiencies. God demonstrated the ultimate standard of love by sending His Son as a sacrifice while humanity was still in sin. This sacrificial love serves as our model for how we should treat others. True spiritual health manifests through patience, kindness, ready forgiveness, and the ability to love difficult people. The solution isn't found in trying harder to love others, but in developing a deeper connection with God through worship, Scripture, prayer, and community. As we position ourselves to receive God's love more fully, we naturally become more effective channels of His love to others.
