it.
Memorize your Scriptures.
It's very important to memorizeScriptures.
I can't say that it'sabsolutely necessary.
You have to know all thescriptures by heart.
It's just nice to know wherethey are when you remember them.

(00:50):
But you realize that if youread the Word and the time comes
that you need that scripture, the Holy Spirit will help you
remember that scripture, butit's still good to hold the word
in your heart.
These things are what buildsour armor.
Let's see what our scripture isthis week.

(01:14):
And this week it is John 14, 6.
Jesus said to him I am the way,the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Fatherexcept through me.
Tozer had a quote that wasreally good.
It says Jesus is not one of themany ways to approach God, nor

(01:40):
is he the best of several ways.
He is the only way and he isthe only way.
The scriptures that we've had,the five before, were 1 John
5.11,.
And this is the testimony thatGod has given us eternal life

(02:00):
and this life is in His Son 1John 5, 12.
He who has the son has life.
He who does not have the son ofGod does not have life.
And then we have John 14, 1, 2,and 3 that says Let not your

(02:21):
heart be troubled.
You believe in God.
Believe also in me.
In my Father's house there aremany mansions.
If it were not so, I would havetold you I go to prepare a
place for you.
And if I go and prepare a placefor you, I will come again and
receive you to myself.
That where I am there ye mightbe also.
And then today's is John 14, 6.

(02:44):
Jesus said to him I am the way,the truth and the life.
No man comes to the Fatherexcept through me.
That is so important.
And when you're talking topeople out on the street and
they say well, you know, thereare so many religions, there's

(03:06):
many religions.
There's only one God andthere's only one way to get to
Him and that's through His Son.
So that is your scripture forthis week.
If you like some daily wisdom.
Check out Rick's podcast.

Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today.
