We are on our ninth unit ofassurance this week.

Today, our scripture is one ofmy favorites.
I think it probably gives usmore information on what Jesus

did for us than anything in theNew Testament.
It's in Isaiah 53, and it'sIsaiah 53, 5.
But he was wounded for ourtransgressions.
He was bruised for ouriniquities.
The chastisement of our peacewas upon Him and by His stripes
we are healed.
This is what he did at thecross.

This is such an impactfulscripture.
When you talk to someone aboutwhat did God do, we all look at
the New Testament and read whathappened.
But when you can see that inthe Old Testament, in Isaiah,

they knew that he would bewounded for us, that he would be
bruised for us, that he wouldheal us, I just think that's so
wonderful.
Heal us.

The last scripture we hadmemorization was Isaiah 26.3.
You will keep him in perfectpeace, whose mind is stayed on
you because he trusts you.
And this week's again, he waswounded for our transgressions.
