Electricity powers our modern lives, but finding trustworthy professionals to handle your home's electrical needs can be challenging. Meet Cale Horner, founder of All Circuits Electrical, who's changing that narrative one customer at a time.

Cale's journey into electrical work began at just 15 years old, following his father who wired schools throughout Northern Colorado for three decades. What started as summer work blossomed into a consuming passion—so much so that his wife jokingly calls it his "first wife." That passion fueled the creation of All Circuits Electrical in 2021, which now employs 15 electricians serving northern Colorado with a refreshingly customer-centered approach.

The conversation dispels common myths about electrical work—particularly the notion that projects will inevitably cost "an arm and a leg" or might be impossible to complete. Cale's philosophy? "Anything's possible." His company even creates educational content to help homeowners troubleshoot simple issues like GFCI resets before calling a professional, demonstrating a commitment to transparency rarely seen in the industry. Whether for residential service calls, remodels, or commercial projects, All Circuits Electrical approaches each job with their core values of integrity, customer experience, and humble pride.

What truly distinguishes this family-owned business is their dedication to customer satisfaction, conducting follow-up calls to ensure their high standards were met from start to finish. Discover how Cale and his team are elevating the electrical industry by visiting allcircuitselectrical.net, where you can learn about their services and meet the technicians who might be coming to your home. Here's your host, Nick George.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Welcome to the Good Neighbor Podcast.
Are you in need of an electriccompany that can handle jobs,
large and small, residential andcommercial, and that comes
highly rated?
Well, one might be closer thanyou think.
Today I have the great pleasureof introducing your good
neighbor, Cale Horner, with AllCircuits Electrical.
Cale, how's it going?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
It's going pretty good.
How about you?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Excellent.
We're excited to learn allabout you and your electrical
business.
Please tell us about yourcompany.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
So All Circuits Electrical is a family-owned
business in northern Colorado.
It started in 2021.
We employ 15 electricians, including myself, two office
staff.
We're based off of our corevalues of integrity, customer
experience, humble pride to tryand elevate the electrical

(01:09):
community and a passion thatI've had since I was, I think,
17.
So, yeah, yeah, it's a littlebit about us.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Speaking about that passion that you've had since
you were 17,.
How exactly did you get intothe business?
Did you ever do anything else,or just follow in the footsteps
of the family?

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Yeah, so I worked at a gas station for a summer.
My dad was an electrician for30 years in Northern Colorado.
He worked on big schools, stufflike that, so any of the
schools in Fort Collins, loveland, windsor area he
probably wired.
And then I kind of followedinto that footstep, started my

(01:52):
first summer when I was 15 andthen kind of dabbled in it more
and more and then I kind of justdeveloped a passion and love
for it.
My wife kind of says it's myfirst wife because I love it so
much.
You know they say if you lovewhat you do you don't ever work
a day in your life, and that'strue.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
What are some myths or misconceptions in your
industry that you notice thatrun through people's mind before
they call, when they haveanxiety about calling an
electrician that you dispel withyour service?

Speaker 3 (02:23):
Well, a couple of things, depending on the avenue,
I guess, you know, and remodels, people are like, well, I don't
know if this is possible, uh,and I always tell them
anything's possible?
Um, it all depends onsituations, but we can make that
happen one way or another, whatever that dream might be.
Um, another one that I run intoa lot is this is going to cost

(02:47):
me an arm and a leg, and that'sjust not true depending on the
situation.
Right, we try and be fair acrossthe board.
Um, a lot of times we run intopeople who just missed a gfi.
You know what I mean, or don'tknow what that is.
So we're working on uh tryingto create content so people,
before they call an electricalcontractor, can see oh, these
are things that I can look forat home as a homeowner rather

(03:11):
than call an electrician rightaway to try and help them
navigate that a little more ontheir own in safe areas.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
So yeah, we talked before we started recording
about how you do everythingright, but do you guys have a?
Marketing is the heart of everybusiness.
Who are your target customersand how are you trying to
attract them right now?

Speaker 3 (03:36):
So our target customers right now are
homeowners in our servicedepartment and then remodel
companies and contractors.
We're really going after that.
That's a niche that takes aspecial skill to do, but we love
doing it, and then smallcommercial tenant finishes stuff
like that.
We can do larger commercialscale stuff we have a couple of.

(04:01):
We have a couple of high ratedelectricians right, myself, one
of my lead estimators, andrewand then Dustin.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
We're all fully skilled to be able to take that
on.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
So, yeah, we kind of dabble in all of it, but our
target customer right now is ourservice department and
homeowners and pretty muchresidential remodel companies.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Not every business is as interested as it sounds like
you are in educating yourcustomers, especially before
they even call you.
You said something about beinginterested in producing that
content.
Yeah, well, freely have youever thought about doing your in
producing that content?
Yeah, well, freely.
Have you ever thought aboutdoing your own podcast?

Speaker 3 (04:48):
I've never thought about my own podcast.
I know, um we're going to workon some stuff on youtube, just
quick content.
Um, I have one of my socialmedia uh people here in the
office working on that so we canum build that content and try
and help homeowners more nice tohave somebody on the inside
that knows how to do thatoutside of work.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Outside of work, what do you do for fun?

Speaker 3 (05:10):
um, well, I go camping with my family.
I have a wife and three kids,um, so we go camping, stuff like
that, uh.
But ever since I started thecompany, it's taken a lot of my
time.
So, yeah, we're trying to buildand grow and do that the right
way, with a steady pace.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
So yeah, Cale, please tell our listeners one thing
they should absolutely take awayfrom this podcast about all
circuits electrical about allcircuits electrical.

Speaker 3 (05:45):
What I would say is all circuits electrical is
definitely driven on, like Isaid earlier, honesty, integrity
, customer experience is verylarge in everything that we do.
We do callbacks just to makesure, from the top to the bottom
and beginning to end, wefollowed our standards to be
able to help them in the bestway possible through that

(06:07):
customer experience.
So that's one of our corevalues and that, like I said
earlier, anything's possible.
Um, we just have to talkthrough it and try and figure
out what their dream is and we'dbe happy to realize it I like
everything you're saying, cale.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
How can our listeners learn more about All Circuits
Electrical online and theold-fashioned way with a phone
number?

Speaker 3 (06:29):
So you could go online to
allcircuitselectricalnet andlook through our website that
has each one of our leadtechnicians in it, a little bit
about us and what we like to do.
That way, you can see who'scoming to your house, you can
see projects that we've done inthe past and it gives a good
vision of where we're trying togo in the future.

(06:51):
Or you can feel free to givethe office a call or me a call
at any time and we'd be happy tosit down and go over who we are
and see if we can help in anyway.

Speaker 2 (07:02):
Awesome, Kale.
We really appreciate you beingon our show and we wish you and
your business the very bestmoving forward.
