Have you ever wondered how personal health challenges can spark entrepreneurial innovation? Meet Tiara Harris, founder of Juice-ology, whose journey from battling serious health issues to creating a thriving wellness company offers powerful inspiration for anyone seeking natural healing solutions.

Tiara's path to creating her cold-pressed juice business began with her own health struggles. Facing ovarian cysts, fibroids, and endometriosis, she turned to juicing as a natural remedy. What started as a personal healing journey quickly caught the attention of colleagues who recognized the potential benefits of her nutrient-packed concoctions. This organic interest transformed her personal practice into a mission-driven business dedicated to community wellness.

Beyond just selling delicious juices, Tiara is passionate about debunking common misconceptions in the wellness space. She eloquently explains that juicing isn't merely a weight-loss trend but a powerful way to deliver essential nutrients that support digestion, energy, and overall health. With her science background (reflected in the clever name "Juice-ology"), she approaches wellness from both practical and scientific perspectives, creating products that are as effective as they are enjoyable. Her inclusive marketing strategy reaches everyone from parents with athletic children to senior citizens, reflecting her belief that proper nutrition benefits everyone regardless of age or lifestyle.

What sets Juiceology apart is the heart behind the business. Tiara's commitment to quality ingredients, scientific understanding of nutrition, and genuine desire to improve people's lives "one juice at a time" creates an authentic connection with her customers. Listen to discover how this remarkable entrepreneur is changing her community's relationship with wellness and how you might incorporate some of her insights into your own health journey!

(00:34):
How are you Great?
Well, we are so excited tolearn all about you and your
unique company.
Can you start by telling us alittle bit about your business?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Yes, I'll start with explaining.
Juiceology is a wellnesscompany all natural juices.
We're rooted in the belief ofhealing starts from within and
from there.
We can see it from internal orexternally.
We offer cold press juices, wellness shots and we're

(01:03):
health-focused on drinks, andall of them are made with real
and all-natural fruits andveggies.

Speaker 2 (01:12):
So, Tiara, how did you get into this business?

Speaker 3 (01:17):
So it started off with just me personally.
I was juicing for myself.
I had internal issues with.
I kept getting ovarian cysts, fibroids and dealing with
endometriosis, and so I alwayshad internal issues going on.
So I started doing someresearch and found out that

(01:39):
juicing was very, verybeneficial, was very, very
beneficial.
And so from there, I startedjuicing and some of my
co-workers were like, are youselling it?
I was like, no, not at all.
And then I was like you knowwhat?
This can probably benefit otherpeople as well.
So, um, once I started doingmore research on how the
business side worked, I branchedout and started um selling to

(02:01):
my co-workers, having them tastetest and then move forward to
friends and family from thereamazing, and what is the most
common myth or misconception youcome across in your industry?
oh my gosh, um.
One of the big misconceptionsin the juicing industry.

(02:21):
Most people think it's just atrend or that it's just only for
weight loss, but really thetruth is, juicing is for your
body to build that powerhouse,to give your body nutrients that
you don't get on a daily basis.
It's also good for digestion, energy and then overall wellness

(02:45):
.
Another myth that I come acrossis that healthy juices always
taste bad, and that's not thecase if you have the right
ingredients and juiceology hasthe right ingredients.

Speaker 2 (02:58):
So, tira, we know marketing is the heart of every
business.
How do you currently marketyour business?

Speaker 3 (03:05):
is the heart of every business.
How do you currently marketyour business?
So I do a lot of my marketingthrough Instagram, facebook,
mostly social media sitesplatforms.
I do it through pop-up shopsand then I also go to business
professionals and just haveconversations with them Parents
as well.
I've done local communicationwith parents who have athletes,

(03:28):
children or people who even forsenior citizens at home, just
going out in the community andkind of just teaching them about
what juicing really has tooffer.

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Wow, so it sounds like your target audience is
pretty wide range.
Is that correct?

Speaker 3 (03:47):
Yes, definitely wide range for sure, and I appreciate
everybody that has been alistening ear about what the
benefits are of juicing.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Now, Tira, have you ever thought of having your own
podcast?

Speaker 3 (04:05):
I actually haven't.
Not really I've offered to helppeople with podcasts, but to
have my own, I don't think so.
I don't think that really hascrossed my mind, not for the
juicing business, at least.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
Well, you are missing out and outside of work.
What do you like to do for fun?

Speaker 3 (04:29):
Oh well, first of all , I have to tell everybody I
love naps, because after juicingand then also just being a
full-time worker, I literally amlike let's take a nap.
But other than that, I love.
I'm a big foodie, so I do liketo go try different food places,
and that's always fun.

(04:49):
I am an athlete for many yearsand so I do still go and run.
I like hiking, just being outin nature, so those are some of
the things that I like to dooutside of business.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
So those are some of the things that I like to do
outside of business.
Awesome, awesome, and I feelyou on those naps.
So important, yeah, literallyso.
Tiara, please tell ourlisteners today one thing you
would like them to rememberabout Juiceology you would like

(05:23):
them to remember about juiceology.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Well, I would love everybody to remember that juice
ology comes from the heart.
We set standards in followingthrough with our flavors, our
technique, our uniqueness.
Juice ology started from notjust me having my problems, but

(05:45):
when I have the name juice ol, Ihave a science background, so I
like to digest the, the sciencemechanisms of the fruit, the
veggies.
So it's just not something that, as I mentioned, the myth of
just a trend.
It's something that reallywants to benefit you long term
for longevity in your future, your, your well-being and just
your daily activities.
So if I can do anything for youin Juiceology, that's to give

(06:10):
you a better day, one juice at atime.
And where can our us there aswell?
