What makes Austin Long with Casting Lights a good neighbor?

Light up your life with Austin Long of Casting Lights, your neighborhood expert in all things outdoor illumination! Austin reveals how his company transformed from a strategic seasonal complement to his pest control business into a passion-driven lighting enterprise serving both residential and commercial clients.

Discover the three pillars of Casting Lights' services: professional Christmas light installations that prioritize safety over store-bought alternatives, innovative permanent landscape lighting systems controllable via smartphone, and custom event lighting solutions that create magical atmospheres for special occasions. Austin debunks the common misconception that "all lights are the same," emphasizing how professional-grade products deliver superior safety and longevity.

What truly sets Casting Lights apart is their approachable, family-focused philosophy. Austin and his wife built their business specifically to help families create community spaces and memorable moments through thoughtful lighting design. Their commitment extends to jobs of all sizes—whether you need a complete holiday lighting installation or simply need someone to fix that troublesome garden light you've been struggling with. As Austin puts it, they're your "one-shot need for anything that's outside lighting."

Beyond the business insights, we get a glimpse into Austin's personal life, from his love of fishing and beach trips with family to his consideration of starting a podcast.
