What Makes Adrin Smith with Touchless Colon Cleansing a Good Neighbor?

A surprising moment in a therapy room sent Adrin Smith on an 18-year mission to make gut care simple, safe, and effective. We sit with the founder of Touchless Colon Cleansing to unpack what colon hydrotherapy really is, why hydration of the colon can reset digestion, and how a calm, spa-like, client-controlled session helps people feel lighter, clearer, and more in control of their day. If you’ve ever wrestled with constipation from meds, stress, or diet—or just felt “off” without knowing why—this conversation offers clarity without hype.

Adrin walks us through her personal turning point, the shift from Mississippi food culture to a wellness practice in Dallas–Fort Worth, and the results she’s seen working with clients across backgrounds. We talk about the connection between the gut and bloodstream, why dehydration slows elimination, and how thoughtful practices—water intake, fiber, movement, and targeted sessions—can restore rhythm. She also opens up about collaborating with healthcare professionals, from primary care to gynecology and podiatry, to support patients dealing with post-surgery slowdowns, antibiotics, and pain medications that stall digestion.

What stands out is how approachable the experience can be: touchless setup, privacy, no pain, and a steady focus on education. Whether you’re curious about colonics, confused by conflicting advice, or searching for a non-pharmaceutical option to get regular again, you’ll find practical insights and a grounded path forward. Listen for the takeaways you can use today, then share this with someone who needs a nudge toward better gut health.

SPEAKER_01 (00:00):
This is the Good Neighbor Podcast, the place

(00:02):
where local businesses andneighbors come together.
Here's your host, Sophia Yvette.

SPEAKER_02 (00:10):
Welcome to the Good Neighbor Podcast.
Are you in need of a coloncleansing company?
Well, one may be closer than youthink.
Today I have the pleasure ofintroducing your good neighbor,
Adrian Smith with TouchlessColon Cleansing.
Adrian, how are you today?

SPEAKER_00 (00:26):
I'm doing great.
I'm doing great.
Thank you for asking yourself.

SPEAKER_02 (00:30):
I'm also doing great.
Now, um, we are so excited tolearn all about you and your
business.
Can you start off by telling ourlisteners just a little bit
about your company?

SPEAKER_00 (00:41):
Yes, absolutely.
Um, we have actually been uhserving the DFW Betroplex here
in uh Dallas, Texas, since 2007and specializing in the service
of colon hydrotherapy, which isbasically colon cleansing, um,
colon irrigation.
Um, some people consider it tobe colonics.
People that have been knowingabout colonics for years call it

(01:04):
colonics.
But um, basically it's justcleaning the gut.
Um, it's a medical service, andthat depends on how your
facility is established.
But with the equipment that weprovide, we actually have a
little edge in the industry.
So just uh providing thatservice of colon hydrotherapy,
colon cleansing in a spaambiance.
It's really nice.

SPEAKER_02 (01:26):
Wow, Adrian.
And how did you originally getstarted in a business like this?

SPEAKER_00 (01:31):
Oh my goodness, that's a great question.
Uh, my own personal experienceactually introduced me to colon
hydrotherapy back in 2005.
Actually, um, I received myfirst colon hydrotherapy session
after doing what's called themaster cleanse.
And from doing that mastercleanse for about two and a half
weeks, I lost 21 pounds duringthat time.

(01:53):
But ending that process, Iactually got my first colon
hydrotherapy session where Ilost an additional three pounds.
And I l I uh released pills,just a vitamin, women's
one-a-day vitamin, that I hadtaken three years prior to that.
And so um, when that happened, the therapist called me back

(02:13):
just in awe about what happened, and I was actually able to see
those vitamins with my own twoeyes, and I actually have those
in my office for people to seeum basically um that you know
what we eat could hang aroundfor a very long time.
And so after that was over, Imean, I was so devastated.
I was reading about good health,I was asking about good health,

(02:36):
I was online researching aboutgood health.
I was just snatched by thathappening, and I wanted the
therapist to give meinformation, you know, on how to
get started with this journey.
Because where I'm fromoriginally, which is
Mississippi, we eat and wecelebrate everything by eating,
and everywhere we go, food isthere, and people know how to

(02:56):
cook.
And you start at a very youngage, learning how to cook.
And so I asked the therapist atthat time, I said, How did you
get into this?
You know, because I need to takethis back to where I'm from, and
um, which was Mississippi.
And so she said, I would love tohelp you.
The industry is very quiet, it'svery silent, and we need people
to promote uh gut health andspecifically colon hydrotherapy.

(03:21):
A lot of people don't know aboutit.
And so just to educate people onit, and um, you know, to get the
knowledge that she gave me andthe direction that she gave me
to help me get established, youknow, go into school to choose
the best that was recommended atthat time, I did that.
And uh basically, you know, myown personal experience and her

(03:42):
giving me that information andexecuting on that and finishing
school um in 2007, movingforward to be active in the
industry now um will be 18 yearsthis coming November.
And so I absolutely love, love, love what I do.
It's uh very different.
You have to definitely love it.
You have to have a passion, youknow, for gut health.

(04:04):
And I think my own personalexperience is what, like I said
earlier, snatched me into it.
I can't say that walking into anoffice, having or getting my own
colon hydro therapy sessionwould make me say, hey, this is
what I want to do.
And I can see myself doing thisfor the rest of my life.
So I've seen miraculous, when Isay miraculous moves of God with

(04:25):
this uh service and causingthings to happen in the body
that no offense to physicians orhealthcare practitioners or
whatever, but I've seen colonhydrotherapy wake some things up
in the body that had nomovement, that had absolutely
diagnosis that this would neverhappen again and you'll never do
this again.
And so I've seen that happenwith my own two eyes.

(04:48):
And I absolutely love, love, love what I do.
But, you know, just to kind ofclose that, my own personal
experience allowed me to see thebenefits of colon hydrotherapy
and how it hydrates the colonand allow things to be moved
that's just been hanging around, housed in the gut, you know, um,
and everything that we eat alittle bit stays behind, you

(05:11):
know, every time.
So just experiencing that mademe want to know more about it,
made me want to take it back tomy hometown to show people
because you know, Mississippihas a really high rate of
obesity.
And also, you know, hey, highblood pressure, diabetes, high
cholesterol diseases, you know, like that, um ramps the state

(05:34):
and other places as well, butMississippi ranks really high
simply because of the food, thestyle, the fashion in which, you
know, we eat, um, it's needed.
And I thought that taking it toMississippi would be it, but
we've been here in Texas, whichhas been really, really good.
And so um getting started inthis industry has changed my
life.

(05:54):
Um, it has allowed me to make alot of changes to myself
personally as far as what I eatand how I eat and the choices
that I make.
And it's all about education atthe end of the day.
But my own personal experience, again, I share this with so many
people of how I got started init.
People always ask, Woo, MissAngel, what made you get into
this girl?
And so when I tell them, youknow, how I got into it and how

(06:17):
I got started, and how I can seemyself doing this when I get 99
years old, they're like, Wow,really?
Yes, because I've seen howimpactful it is.
And uh, you know, when your guthealth is down, it will let you
down.
Your head can hurt, your arm, your foot, your back, everything
can hurt.

(06:38):
But when your gut is not right, you're gonna cancel those plans.
I'm not gonna be able to makeit.
So I definitely want to say myown personal experience is what
got me into it.
And we've been rolling for quitesome time, you know, here in
Dallas and definitely plan to douh much bigger, much better, and
greater things.

SPEAKER_02 (06:59):
Well, that's amazing.
Thank you for sharing your storywith us.
Now we know marketing is theheart of every business.
Who are your target um clientsor customers?
And in terms of marketing, howdo you currently attract them?

SPEAKER_00 (07:14):
Okay.
Well, basically, um I always, you know, have that question
asked.
And I always say each and everyliving person is our target
because no one is exempt.
We all have a gut, we all arefull of it.
Basically, what we've beeneating since day one of birth,
right?
That's how the mom got ready togo home from the high, you know,

(07:36):
home from the is basically whenyou lay evidence that your gut
is working from start to finish.
And so um basically every livinghuman, you know, needs what we
have.
And um our target definitelywould be healthcare
professionals.
We want to connect with morephysicians, any walk of life,

(07:58):
regardless of where it's thepodiatrist caring for the feet,
if it's a you know, gynecologistfor the women's health, you
know, whatever it may be, wewant to connect with um
healthcare professionals becausethey have the people, uh, the
patients that are coming in thatare experiencing pain and they

(08:18):
prescribe pain medicine, thathave infections or may have had
surgeries and they want to giveyou that antibiotic to fight
against infection uh in thebody.
And that also more than likelycan cause constipation, which is
basically digestion.
You know, um your body wants todigest every single day, or it
should, but because of beingdehydrated in the gut, the body

(08:41):
is not eliminating properly.
And so that's what we come in atis to aid in hydrating the colon
and allowing it to do what it'sgonna do regularly.
Um, and that is to um help withelimination you know of that
waste in the body.
So our target would be anyhealthcare professional, uh,

(09:02):
anyone that can refer, anyonethat can say, hey, I have
something that you've probablybeen looking for, and more than
likely they have, because we allwant to focus on our good
health.
So that would definitely be thetarget.

SPEAKER_02 (09:16):

I have, I have so many times.
Yes, yes, absolutely.

make and how you feel.
So, touchless colon cleansingfirst educates people on the
benefits of the service and notto be afraid of it.

(10:19):

it's a spa ambiance, you'rerelaxed and you'll leave telling
everyone that you know aboutthis experience because you have
experienced something thatthey've been looking for.

SPEAKER_02 (10:34):
