Unlikely underdog for christmas slasher "classic", 2022's The Mean One is an odd take on the Dr. Seuss children's story. Jacob and Peter do their first recording session physically in person together, just after a lively Christmas party. They discuss where the Grinch might come from, the baffling motives of the town leaders of "Newville" (not Whoville), and their own interpretations of what it is to truly love the unlovable Grinches in our lives.
