In this episode, Tom and Kelly welcome a panel of experts in the field of emotional health in children and teenagers. Listen as panelists discuss what they feel are the common roots of emotional health issues and a wide range of other topics relating to this subject. 

Our panelists for this episode include:

Dr. Richard Keezer:
Dr. Richard Keezer is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist currently working for the US Army at Fort Liberty, North Carolina. He now works mainly with young adults, conducting psychotherapy and psychological testing. Dr. Keezer obtained both his masters in clinical counseling and doctorate in clinical psychology from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. He has published research in the areas of adult ADHD and psychological testing. Before obtaining his clinical psychology doctorate, he was a licensed professional counselor working with adolescents in the suburbs of Chicago. Dr. Keezer's interest in psychology grew from his own experience in high school learning about behavioral economics. Dr. Keezer's input in today's discussion is entirely his own opinion and does not reflect the official policy, opinion, or beliefs of the US government, DoD, or US Army. 

Mrs. Lorna Wolfkill:
Mrs. Wolfkill is Assistant Principal of CCS Secondary and works in High School Guidance. She also is a Volunteer Crisis Counselor, trained in Biblical counseling, and certified in Mental Health First Aid for both Teens and Adults.

Mrs. Austyn Van Der Linden:
Mrs. Van Der Linden is a licensed clinical social worker in Florida and Georgia is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She has been working as a clinician since 2018.

Dr. Nari Jeter
Dr. Jeter holds a Masters degree and PhD in Marriage and Family therapy. She also has additional certifications in three different couples therapy programs. She has worked in mental health in a hospital, at a residential treatment facility, and in private practice. Dr. Jeter has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She is currently a teaching professor in Human Development and Family Science at FSU and has a private practice as a marriage and family therapist.
