Hi penis, Hi
Nashville, Debbie in the house I
love it.
So we're here.
It's been amazing.
We are here with the Lowe'sNashville Hotel.
So excited, we love it.
It's not even a room.
It's a suite.
It's called the Bell Suite.
(02:18):
Yeah, it's the perfect nameyeah they knew we were coming,
they invited us, and here we go.
They found us at Bell.
I wonder if they changed thename for us on purpose.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
I don't think so
because that's the sign is on
the door.
It looks like it's been therefor a while, but I think it's
just like divine, you know, andit's the universe just aligning
yeah and they said that sweetthe singers, the famous singers
that are guests in Nashville, stay in this suite and that's
why it's beautiful.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
And look, our chairs,
which you can't see, are like
gold and there's like achandelier behind us and all
across from us we have afireplace behind us.
So, thank you, lowe's Nashville.
We love you.
This is amazing that we're herein Nashville thanks to them.
Yeah, yeah, it just all workedout.
It really did yeah, in the mostamazing way, and before I go to
(03:11):
banter, I just want to say it'scold in Nashville.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
I have to say it's
colder than New York and you
know I'm a New York pup, yeah, and I'm used to the cold, but
this is a little unbearable forme.
Speaker 1 (03:24):
Yeah, it's a lot Like
we checked the weather before
we came and we did bringturtlenecks and jackets, but
like this is cold.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:36):
It's not fun, but
don't say anything about what
we've done so far.
Speaker 3 (03:39):
I'm not, I'm not
gonna ruin it no.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
ruining it allowed,
no.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
So shall I head to
the banter.
I think we should just startwith Belle's banter.
You don't have any locations,do you?
This week Locations?
Speaker 1 (03:51):
You usually talk
about the locations.
Oh yeah, I got that.
You want me to do that?
Speaker 3 (03:53):
first.
No, I didn't know what we weredoing first.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
Okay, belle's banter.
I'm bantering first, let Allright, let's go.
Here we go.
So here's Bell's Banter forSeason 3, episode 8.
Obviously, as you all know, westart banter from last week
until today.
Yeah, so here's what's happenedso far for us.
We had a bath, of course, wehad to pack, which we waited
(04:21):
until the last minute to pack?
Yes, of course, yeah, we did.
So we left for the air.
We got up minute to pack.
Yes, of course, yeah, we did.
So we left for the.
We got up at 3 am and we leftfor the airport at 4 am.
We had to go to LaGuardiaAirport.
It was so dark, yeah, darkoutside.
We walked out and I was likewhy is it so dark?
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Anyway, the carpet
was there.
I feel like we haven't reallyleft for a flight in a while, so
you're not used to it, belle,I'm used to it.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
We went in flight,
but we went to London, but that
was not in the early morning.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
No, that was night,
that was like a night flight.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Yeah, that was night
flight.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Yeah, so we arrived
there in the afternoon.
Speaker 1 (05:01):
And then, prior to
that, I was crazy.
This was extra early, so we havenot flown out of LaGuardia
Airport in so long.
I can't remember the last time,I know because we keep going to
JFK, because that's like ourairport, anyway.
So we got to LaGuardia Airportand we had the best surprise.
It took no time for us to gothrough security because we're
TSA and everything, but we hadthe best surprise, with TSA and
(05:22):
everything, but we had the bestsurprise.
So one of our favoriterestaurants in New York City is
called Bubby's.
Yes, and it's there and here.
Tink and I are like Bubby's.
Is this our Bubby's?
How could it be our Bubby's?
I was like Bubby's is here andit was so early that they
weren't open yet, but theworkers were there and we were
(05:43):
like I'm sorry we can't get onthe plane without going to
Bubby's?
Yeah, because we needed thatBubby's coffee.
Yeah.
So the workers were like, comeon, we're not open, but we can
get you coffee.
So we had coffee pre-opening atBubby's.
We shot some content and it wasthe best coffee ever.
So good, so much better thanthe I'm not going to say brand
(06:03):
names, but those chains that youwait in line for coffee at the
airport for forever yeah, somuch better.
So that was a really funsurprise and LaGuardia Airport's
actually really nice.
Now, Well, the terminal we wentto.
It's brand new.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Brand new.
Yeah, gorge.
Yeah, I was not disappointed atall by it.
No Kind of.
Made JFK look terrible.
Yeah, it makes JFK look dirty, but unfortunately they don't do
any international flights fromLaGuardia, so that's why we go
to JFK, yeah.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
And that's the way it
is.
We got on the flight and welanded, Got on the flight.
Speaker 3 (06:41):
It was so strange.
It said it was delayed, but itwasn't Last minute landing.
It got on the flight.
It was so strange.
It said it was delayed but itwasn't, yeah, last minute.
Yeah, my paws were on the phoneand it said your app said that,
but my app didn't.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
I was like tink, your
app's nuts, mine isn't saying
that.
I don't know what's going onwith your app.
So we left on time, we landedon time and when we landed we
saw snow here on the ground yes,we landed in snow.
Speaker 3 (07:03):
thank goodness the
plane landed safely, took off on
time landed, yes, we landed insnow.
Speaker 1 (07:06):
Thank goodness the
plane landed safely, took off on
time, landed on time.
Then we had to go to the runway, all that good stuff.
So we have a rental car yes, because we did not want to take
public transportation around andall that kind of stuff, because
we just wanted to make sure, because it was cold.
Speaker 3 (07:24):
Us divas on public
transportation.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
The hotel was so
funny no why do you want to use
just the public transportation?
And I was like I don't thinkTink is gonna want that and I'm
not waiting in the cold for abus.
No, thank you.
So we have a car which is.
Speaker 3 (07:47):
Well then we opted
for Ubers.
We thought, maybe Ubers, butthen it was too stressful.
We were like we just need a car, we just want to have, we can
just go wherever we want.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah, when it's here,
it's here, it sits downstairs
for us.
We tell them we're on the waydown, it's very easy, and then
the cold is much better for us.
Yeah, yeah, and so we arrivedat the Lowe's Vanderbilt,
nashville, and it's called theVanderbilt because it's across
the street from VanderbiltUniversity, yes, which we just
found out, our friend, Debbiewent to and graduated from.
(08:20):
So that was fun and it'sgorgeous.
It's all meant to be, I'mtelling you.
It's like a divine moment intime for us, yeah, and then we
get out of the car andeveryone's like welcome
Tinkerbell and Belle.
Welcome Tinkerbell and Belle.
Yeah, it was crazy we had awhole welcoming committee
downstairs.
The doorman, yeah, the dooreverybody it was so fun,
(08:41):
everybody's so nice here.
Yes, so they take us up tolet's go to your bell suite and
we're like, is it really calledbell suite, or did they just
like teasing us?
Well, we get up here and on thedoor it says Literally bell
suite.
And it's engraved in thereforever.
Yeah, so you're right, tink.
(09:02):
I told you we open the door andwe have this humongous suite
that has like three bathrooms, afull kitchen, a dining room,
like a living room, a fireplace.
Yep, we got the fireplace.
We forgot to turn it on.
It's on, not really, okay, letme turn it on.
(09:22):
Go, turn it on, tinker, while Ikeep talking.
Yes, so we have a fireplace,it's going to go on.
Maybe you'll hear it.
Let's see.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
Maybe that's what
makes the noise.
Hey, did you?
Speaker 2 (09:32):
turn it off.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Oh there it goes,
it's on, it went poof.
No, that's not the noise, guys,if you hear a lot of background
noise, but the AC makes thisreally loud noise, listen,
that's the AC, or heat, whateverit is.
Speaker 3 (09:52):
I think the fridge
just made a noise, but it's gone
already.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
The fridge has aliens
in it.
Seriously, Literally, Becausethe fridge is like all of a
sudden oh wait, it's coming.
Speaker 3 (10:05):
It's like wow, it's
speaking back to us.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
So if you hear a lot
of background noise, you'll know
we're on location doing thisand that there's a lot of things
in the background that wecouldn't turn off.
Yep, Okay, so we get hereStunning amazing.
Tink and I ran laps everywhere.
It's huge.
It's bigger than people'shouses.
This, I think so it's crazy, yeah, so the first thing we did
when we got up here was createthe content, because we always
(10:38):
try to do it right away so wedon't make a mess.
Yeah, because we have stuffeverywhere, because the room was
perfect.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Yeah, so we have to
get it in pristine condition.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
Yeah, so we did that.
We created the sweet content.
Then they sent us up gourmetmeals prepared from the chef.
Yes, so up comes a deliciouschicken and carrot dish, chicken
and carrot dish, and then I gota steak tartare, steak tartare
(11:09):
and eggs With an egg yolk in thecenter.
Yeah, like the chef prepared usgourmet meals, yep, so we
prepared, we did our content ofthat, but we also ate that.
We got to eat it, guys, it wasamazing.
Tink loved her steak.
It was pretty good.
Tink, tink, loved her steak.
It was pretty good.
I think you loved it.
It's good and the egg was umsoft on top and it went
(11:32):
everywhere and you were like Imean I didn't make those noises.
Speaker 3 (11:38):
But okay, bell, yes,
she did she did.
Speaker 1 (11:42):
It was delicious.
So thank you to the chef.
Um, and I have to say, thelowes loves pets program is
amazing, the best.
They provide bowls and treatsand um, potty pad container.
What do you call those bags?
Oh, you, what?
(12:02):
What they give us those bags, those things?
Oh, to pick up the poops, yeah, poopy bags in holders.
What are those actually?
Speaker 3 (12:13):
called bags.
Speaker 1 (12:24):
So yeah, well,
they're beautiful.
Anyway, they say Lowe's lovespets and we love Lowe's too, so
it's fabulous.
And I have to tell you again, the water is the best.
I think I drank an entireLowe's bottle when we got here
they're literally.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
everyone says poop
bag carrier, poop bag holder.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Okay, there we go.
That's what it is.
Yeah, and delicious water thatsays Lowe's, the water is very
good.
There you go.
So then, after finishing theroom, we went down to the lobby,
shot some more content thereand then we went on our first
adventure.
We went to this place that'ssupposed to be like the number
(13:10):
one because we were hungry.
We were right, we're always,I'm always hungry, so that's
just whatever.
So we went to this place.
Shout out to joy land, joy landit was.
It was allergy friendly and socute and colorful and delicious.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
And, like human
needed gluten free, so it worked
out.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
It worked out.
So, yeah, we always go to thegluten free locations because
human can't have wheat, glutenor dairy.
So we always.
So that was our first one, joyland, that was excellent, so
good.
Then we walked all over andshopped on Broadway.
Yes, we did.
We went to the boot store andall those fun things, that was
(13:54):
the tourist thing and we werelike, okay, we did that, we're
not going back there.
Speaker 3 (14:00):
Yeah, we walked the
whole block and I have to tell
you it was pretty chilly, it waschilly but we did it.
We walked the whole block and Ihave to tell you it was pretty
chilly, it was chilly but we didit.
We did the whole street.
We saw every bar.
Yeah, jelly Rolls Bar One anddone Jason Aldean's Bar.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Miranda.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
Lambert's Place,
everything was open, yeah it's
open, everything's open, andthere was one of the restaurants
, because every restaurant hasperformers.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Well, a bar.
I don't know if they're.
Oh, I guess the bar restaurantsare over there.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
So there's like giant
glass things.
They're like windows but doors, but they're above ground.
They open up and this guy wassinging and poked his head out
the window and was like talkingto me while he was singing.
I was like what's going on here?
Yeah, so that was funny.
There was a lot.
There was some people walkingaround that shouldn't be walking
(14:50):
around, because they had alittle too much to.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
Yeah, they really
enjoyed seeing us.
Yeah yeah, we were kind of thehead of the block.
It was like they've never seena dog before.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
I know I was like
what's wrong with her Tink and
Tink's like Belle, just be quietand just be nice, don't say
anything, and I was like okay, but it was really fun to get to
see that strip and everything,so we did that.
Speaker 3 (15:19):
We got some swag some
merch.
We got a little swag merch.
Yeah, a little bit.
Speaker 1 (15:27):
We did swag some
merch.
We got a little swag merch.
Yeah, we did.
It was pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (15:29):
I'm not thrilled with
mine, but it was no, not great
options well, I feel like, because we thought that was the
only option and then we ended upfinding had breakfast in bed.
Okay.
(15:52):
So we went from being onBroadway to then waking up.
We came home, we blacked out,it was nighttime, we came home.
Speaker 1 (15:59):
We were tired from
everything.
Yeah, then we came home, wewent to bed and we woke up with
cowboy hats on.
Yes, we woke up with cowboyhats on and in comes his
beautiful she was.
She's very nice.
I don't remember her name.
(16:20):
That served us.
Do you remember her name thatcame in?
She was very nice.
No, not me either shout out toour friend that we don't
remember your name.
I'm sorry, we're sorry sherolled in this banquet for us.
It had like eggs and pancakesand, uh, oatmeals and fruits and
coffees and everything.
So, yeah, and we took tons ofphotos, tons ofons of photos,
(16:43):
excellent.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
It was really good.
Speaker 1 (16:45):
Lowe's Nashville
excellent food yeah, Thank you.
Excellent breakfast in bed,Thank you.
Yeah, we seriously did wake upwith our cowboy hats on.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
I know.
Yeah, I think there's proof onthe Insta.
Speaker 1 (16:56):
Yes, there is.
Yes, there is, we're there.
Okay, so then that was actuallyyesterday, Mm-hmm, so yesterday
, thursday.
So after that we had anitinerary ready.
So first stop was the CountryMusic Hall of Fame yes, which
was really interesting, mm-hmm,a little boring, well, you don't
(17:22):
have a good attention span.
Speaker 3 (17:24):
I don't have a good
attention span, span.
Speaker 1 (17:25):
I don't have a good
attention but I also didn't know
a lot of the names but I got.
I have to tell you I was soexcited to see jelly roll and
taylor swift yeah, that kind ofstuff.
Yeah, I mean obviously thetaylor swift stuff was like our
favorite yeah, I'm just glad weopted out of the tour guide,
because I would have been likemove along please.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
Yeah, we did it
ourselves, because here I am
standing there reading thedisplay to get some information
and Belle is like 10 millionfeet ahead of me telling me to
hurry up.
I was like, come on, kate, Iwant to find Taylor.
I'm just trying to learn thehistory here.
Speaker 1 (18:04):
Yeah, tink was more
about the reading.
I'm just about give me the foodand show me the Taylor and the
jelly rolls.
So it was really fun.
And then we got to go in andrecord a little fake song.
Oh yeah, so they have therecording booth, yeah they have
like the Taylor Swift Aras tourbus.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
It's like a replica,
and then inside you can record a
song in a studio booth.
It's like karaoke, yeah.
It's basically karaoke, yeah.
So that was fun.
You can also do other differentthings.
Speaker 1 (18:37):
Yeah, you can make an
album cover.
You can make an album cover, you can learn how to mix.
So that was fun, that was cool.
Yeah, we did content there.
It was pretty good.
Mm-hmm, we weren't allowed totake video so we could only do
photos.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
Yeah, no video
allowed.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:51):
So we'll do a country
musical of fame.
Photo swipe.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
Yeah, I mean it's on
the stories, but like, yeah, we
can do it.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
Yeah, we saw Taylor
at the Hall of Fame.
So what would you do next?
Speaker 2 (19:13):
Let's think Gee,
let's go find the bench oh gosh.
Speaker 1 (19:17):
So here we go, so
here we go we go in our
rent-a-car Navigator on take usto Taylor's Bench in Centennial
Park, and it did.
It brought us there, but theproblem was the ground was wet
because of the old snow, so itwas all mud.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
We had to walk
through the mud and humans were
not prepared and I wasn'tprepared.
Speaker 1 (19:43):
I mean my paws were
not prepared for the mud.
We trekked through the mud butwe did get to the bench and
found the bench and we sat on itshivering to death.
It was cold.
But we can say we went toTaylor's Bench in Centennial
Park.
We did, we did.
So you will see that too.
Speaker 3 (19:59):
It was very confusing
to find it, though, at first.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
I didn't find that
confusing.
Speaker 3 (20:04):
Oh, okay, tink was
lost totally.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
She's like wait,
they're saying go this way.
I'm like no, t tink, there'sthe water.
If you look at the pen, what isit called?
Parthenon?
Parthenon, yeah, they're sayingto go to the right of the
parthenon, but we were in theback of it so yeah, so she
didn't understand.
I'm like tink, look, turnaround, pretend you're facing
the other side.
And then I was like it's right, there, there's the tree.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
So of course, we
found the closest spot, which
wasn't closed because of the mudand the cold yeah, and I think
it would look a lot nicer in thespring and summer of course
obviously see you win, debbie.
Speaker 1 (20:42):
Debbie knows I used
to go there as a child.
Did you see the bench?
Well, it wasn't a taylor swiftbench, yeah, but you gotta go
there used to be a train there.
Oh, I don't know if it's stillthere, but it's very confusing
People that live here get lostin that car.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
See Belle Listen.
Speaker 1 (20:59):
I just had my radar
for Taylor Swift Bench and I was
boom there.
I knew, yeah, I was like comeon, tink, it's over there.
And Tink was like I don't wantto walk through the mud.
I'm like we don't have a choice, yep.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
But we did.
Speaker 1 (21:12):
We did and we got
photos and it was freezing cold,
but then our shoes were coveredin mud like everything.
It was bad, but then from there, so we had to hit this hot spot
that I found out about Guys Onthe TikTok yeah, on the talk,
the TikTok Guys.
I don't know if you're inNashville, but you've got to go.
(21:35):
It's called Swig and it's inBrentwood, Nashville.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Yeah, debbie, you
better go, I live in.
Speaker 1 (21:43):
Franklin.
So Brentwood is right next toFranklin.
Oh, what's the name of it again?
It's called Swig S-W-I calledswig, which you will see just
open there yes, well, this placeis very popular on tiktok the
best mix of sodas you could everfind in your life.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
It's also very
popular on um real housewives of
salt lake city yeah uh on,bravo.
Speaker 1 (22:07):
Apparently they
always go to swig oh yeah, so so
we, we got to the street and wegot.
The lobby was closedunfortunately yesterday, so we
couldn't go inside, so you hadto wait in the street to to
order.
Speaker 3 (22:22):
It wasn't bad for us,
but once we well, once, once
we've turned the street to go tothe place, there was a line of
cars, so we knew I I was likethis is the line.
Speaker 1 (22:33):
Yeah, so when we left
though the line of cars was
down to the intersection, wrapped around the block and I
was like how did we time thistink?
It worked out Like we literallyhad maybe 10 cars in front of
us.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
Yeah, that was it,
and now it was, it was meant to
be, because our night community, everybody's going.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
Nope, everybody's
complaining about the traffic,
uh-oh See.
So there we go.
So you have to go to Swig.
It's amazing, we got thegiantest drink, the 44.
They call it 44 ounces and minewas called.
Do you remember my name?
Joyful something, or anyway.
Speaker 3 (23:08):
I don't remember the
names of the drinks.
Speaker 1 (23:10):
Dr Pepper Diet with
uh.
Vanilla and coconut Sugar-freevanilla and sugar-free coconut
sauce in it, and ice is likethis shaved, crinkly ice.
Oh my gosh, it's the best thingI ever drank.
Mm-hmm, and you got somethingwith coconut milk in it.
Speaker 3 (23:25):
I got like, yeah, it
had like coconut cream in it
with like lime.
Speaker 1 (23:30):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
It was really good.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
And the reason we're
giving them a shout out is
because when they saw us theywere like okay, pup cups, pup
cups coming up for you guys, andit was the best little pup cup
ever.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Yeah, it was
delicious.
Yeah, so definitely 100% likeworth it 10 out of 10.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
Yeah, so 10 out of
10,.
You have to go.
Speaker 3 (23:54):
Do you know what I
forgot to tell what we did first
um dutch brothers?
I know we forgot and they're apartner of ours.
I know, I didn't even know,they were in nashville.
Speaker 1 (24:02):
Well, we didn't
either until we landed.
So here's the deal we land inthe airport and things like bill
, I wonder if dutch brothershere.
So I go on the app that theygave us and it says you know,
welcome to Think About, andthere's one.
So, before coming here, wedrove there and we were so
excited because we've partneredwith Dutch Brothers since
(24:27):
Arizona, uh-huh.
And they were so excited whenthey saw us.
They were taking our pictureswith their Polaroid and
everything.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
They gave us Puff
Cups too.
Yes, they did so.
Thank you, Dutch brothers.
That was fabulous, I didn't.
We didn't know it was hereeither.
We were so pleasantly surprisedso we had to detour before
coming here to the Lowe's.
I always learn something fromyou, baby.
Yeah, mission accomplished, you're hardcore, all right.
So then, after we went to swigyesterday, we went to this area
(24:58):
called the gulch.
Yes, it's very nice, a lot ofrestaurants, very nice.
Glad we saw it.
Don't know if I'd go back.
It's not very exciting.
It was okay.
Okay, there was no puppy stores.
Speaker 3 (25:12):
It was a nice little
area.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
Yeah, very nice, it
was very nice, yep.
And then we ended our nightgoing to a barbecue at Martin's
Barbecue Joint.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Yeah, but you didn't
talk about the funny part that
happened before this week.
No, the peg leg porker.
Speaker 1 (25:29):
Okay.
So we're trying to find thebest gluten-free barbecue in
Nashville and this place comesup on the TikTok again.
Yeah, called Peg Leg Porker, yes, so we go.
Okay, let's go there.
So we go there and we walk inand Tinka and I are looking at
(25:49):
each other like I don't knowabout this.
This place.
This place is a little uh.
Speaker 3 (25:54):
But then the biggest
red flag was that on the soda
machines it all says no soda outof CO2.
Yeah, out of oil.
So we're like wait and.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
I was like oh heck,
no.
So, it's like wait, belle, there's no soda.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
I was like, okay,
let's leave.
Speaker 1 (26:11):
We're out of here,
we're out, so not recommending
that place at all.
Guys, if you're here, don't go,but Martin's Barbecue Joint was
excellent.
Yeah, and they loved us andpeople would say we met Tinker
fans there.
You know, I've got to say we'vegot to change the name Tinker
fans Because they're my fans too, I know.
(26:33):
But oh well, I know it's how itstarted.
I get it Tink, but like we met, what do we call it?
Bell Sweet fans?
I don't know.
Bell fans, how do we change?
Speaker 3 (26:42):
the name?
I don't, we'll figure it out.
Speaker 1 (26:46):
All right.
Speaker 3 (26:46):
We'll figure it out.
We met Tinker fans anyway.
We met Tinker fans At.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Martin's Barbecue Joy
in Nashville.
Yep, it was quite excellent andeveryone was so nice, so nice,
taking pictures of us Having fun, with us Asking if we needed
anything else.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
There was soda.
Speaker 1 (27:01):
There was very good
soda, yeah, delicious soda.
And that brings us to today, where we are here.
That was a long answer, val, Iknow.
It's like a half hour becausewe had so much to cover.
So we're going to have to getto.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Well, do we talk
about where we're going today.
Speaker 1 (27:19):
No, that'll be next
week.
Okay, rude, we can't go ahead.
All right, we banter whathappened for the week.
Yeah.
So, guys, that means stay tunedfor part two of Nashville next
week, hit.
That means stay tuned for parttwo of Nashville next week, hit
it Tink with your pop culture.
Speaker 3 (27:35):
Pop culture.
Finally I talk a lot how longhas it been.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
It says 27 minutes.
Okay, but it's a specialepisode and we have a special
guest and we never have had aspecial guest, so this is great.
Speaker 3 (27:52):
Thanks, debbie, go,
tink go.
All right, right, so here we gowith pop culture.
First story I have is thatMartin Short got COVID after SNL
50th special.
Steve Martin says the SNL 50thCOVID curse is real.
I know that now.
I thought this was reallyinteresting because, bell, yeah,
you have had the snl covidcurse.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Yeah, when you were
on in december, the first time I
was cast on snl.
We um go to set.
I worked a whole day.
We go to set the next day andall of a sudden I'm like like
something's wrong, something'swrong, something's wrong.
This is just before the liveaudience.
The crew all had COVID, so itgot canceled the episode, Like
(28:38):
everyone had to go home.
So I was like, wait, this wasmy first time in SNL, but I kept
saying this is not a Christmasskit.
I could come back, and I didand you did, yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
So anyway, on
Thursday february 20th, the
comedy legend said he and martinshort will have to postpone
upcoming shows in knoxville, tennessee, and durham, north
carolina.
After short got covid, heincluded a picture of his only
murders in the building, co-starkissing maya rudolph backstage
at studio on the lips yeah, mayagot uh had covid, marty has
(29:18):
covid.
I wonder why?
Yeah, the snl 50th covid curseis real, it's real, I'm a
witness yes, so I guess I didn'tknow they canceled in tennessee
.
So this really weird thisarticle says that too.
Speaker 1 (29:31):
It's weird that we're
here too.
Okay, so they're not cominghere.
Speaker 3 (29:35):
No, they said sorry
for the inconvenience.
Wow, so I guess it's stillaround, still around.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
That's SNL.
Too many people in closequarters.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah, that was, and
they probably Too many
gatherings.
They were all together for solong from like rehearsing it oh
yeah actually doing it because, then partying afterwards.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Yeah, probably was
like just a breeding ground
where we're not when I'm on it.
I'm only there friday andsaturday, but everyone else
humans are there from tuesdaypracticing skits, learning skits
, rewriting skits, cutting skits, making new skits.
So rewriting skits, cuttingskits, making new skits.
So they're from Tuesday, sothat's a lot of time together
and there were a lot of people.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
Mm-hmm.
Speaker 2 (30:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (30:21):
Yeah, especially
because that episode was like 8
million hours long.
Speaker 1 (30:24):
Yeah, Whatever it was
, it was so long I didn't watch
it only a tiny bit of it Only alittle bit.
I had no attention span.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
Sorry, all right,
anything else you want to say
about that?
Speaker 1 (30:37):
I love you, SNL.
Hope to see you soon.
Feel better, Marty.
Speaker 3 (30:41):
Yeah, feel better.
Marty and Steve Yep, all rightNext.
Next, this is a little newsabout the queen.
So Taylor Swift had a hand init Ends With Us casting process,
justin Baldoni reveals inresurfaced interview.
So apparently, taylor Swiftallegedly played a bigger role
(31:02):
in the production of it EndsWith Us than what sources have
led the public to believe.
The film's director, justinBaldoni, and actress Isabella
Ferrer, who played a supportingrole in the drama, have said in
separate interviews that the popstar was involved in the
latter's casting.
In a resurfaced clip from asit-down with access, hollywood
(31:23):
baldoni claimed he cast ferrerto play a younger version of
blake lively's character lily, because they resembled one
another and the hollywood newbiewas a phenomenal actress.
And then he says I had actuallybrought in and showed her
casting tape to Blake and Taylorand they were both like yes,
her, and that's a true story.
Speaker 1 (31:43):
They're trying to
drag Taylor again.
Speaker 3 (31:46):
I know I was like how
could?
Speaker 1 (31:47):
they that's why
Taylor went to Italy Get away
from this.
Like how could they that's whyTaylor went to Italy Get away
from this?
Speaker 3 (31:53):
She was running.
She was running away from allof this crazy drama.
Speaker 1 (31:58):
Yeah, stay there,
away from all these crazies,
taylor.
Speaker 3 (32:02):
But apparently she
had some influence in getting
her the role.
That's what the actress Ferrerhas said on Extra there's
another clip too.
Huh, interesting.
So I mean she obviously was apart of it a little bit.
Speaker 1 (32:16):
Yeah, that's why he
dragged her into the lawsuit, I
guess.
So I think she was more a partof it than we knew.
Mm-hmm, oh boy Taylor, stay inItaly.
Speaker 3 (32:26):
Yeah, I know, is that
really?
Are they really there?
I don't't.
It doesn't really say that, like in some articles.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
It says that they're
vacationing in privacy okay,
privacy in private privacy, privacy, okay, yeah, um, hairy
face is there with her, I know.
Yeah, okay, she got off theplane with hiding under
umbrellas, sorry, Always.
Speaker 3 (32:53):
She's like, really
like a big fan of those
umbrellas.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
Yeah, I guess she
doesn't want to wear makeup all
the time.
Speaker 3 (32:58):
Can't blame her, no,
but why Think about it?
Why are there 8 millionumbrellas Like?
Why can't you just like Hideunder one, put Hide under?
No, not just, but you can putlikea.
I don't know that would beweird, put like a hood up or
something what are we in squidgames?
Speaker 1 (33:13):
I don't know, that
would be weird, but one umbrella
that's like a million umbrellas.
There's so many, I see there'slike, it's like a team of
umbrellas like you see her fromthe waist down walking off the
plane.
It's so strange.
Yeah, like one umbrella wouldbe.
Speaker 3 (33:27):
Suffice me too, too I
don't know, maybe whatever,
whatever I know anyway, nextstory, yeah, wow, we're like
pushing through boom okay socynthia arrivo.
Yes, fresh off the box officesuccess of wicked, will host the
78th tony awards.
(33:48):
I heard she takes over as emceefrom Ariana DeBose, who hosted
the past three shows.
Speaker 1 (33:55):
Yeah, I'm over Ariana
anyway.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
Yeah, me too, we need
to move on, but I don't know if
that's a good choice, but goahead.
Erivo is a former Tony winnerherself, having captured the
Best Actress and a Musical Prizein 2016 for her turn in the
Broadway revival of the ColorPurple.
She is currently nominated foran Oscar for her work as Elphaba
and wicked, and she's done abunch of other stuff.
But yeah, what do you think ofher hosting at the Tony's?
(34:21):
I don't think it's a goodchoice.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Hmm, I also, as you
know, I'm not a big fan of the
movie.
Okay, fan of the movie, okay, Iknow You're like.
So I think if you want to seeWicked, go to the Broadway show
and see people who are reallyperfect for the roles and can
sing, like the movie just, Idon't know, didn't do it for me
(34:44):
and I'm so sick of all the pressand publicity that they're
paying for and getting and itdoesn't end Like when is this
ending?
And it's not going to endbecause it's coming out again in
Thanksgiving.
But do I think she's a goodchoice?
I don't know.
I don't know how she actsnormally.
I've never seen her in anything.
I know how she acts normally.
(35:05):
I've never seen her in anything.
I think there's a lot ofpiercings going on and stuff
what, which is a little weird.
What are you talking about?
She is?
She's got like no, I know.
Piercings kind of everywhere.
So I don't know, is thatappealing for an audience?
I don't know A televisionaudience is I don't know, it's a
a little, she could be a littlescary well, I feel like if I
saw her in a dark alley, I'd bescared oh right, I just don't
(35:27):
think.
Speaker 3 (35:27):
Like I don't think
that she's, even though she's in
, wicked and like getting allthis fame right now.
I don't think people in likethe general public like know who
she is, like that's not gonnamake them tune in no, but it's
done because of the pr team ofwicked yeah, I know, because the
next movie's coming out correctand they're pushing for it.
Speaker 1 (35:46):
They're pushing for
it.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
I'm like so sick of
being pushed wicked everywhere
um, I know, but I don't thinkshe's like a big name, like I
don't know, like I'd rather likesomeone like kelly clarkson
hosted, or someone who's like Iagree, who's I don't know how.
Speaker 1 (36:00):
I also don't know
what her personality is like, I
think, even like dina andkristen chenoweth oh my god, now
that would have been the best, yes, but that's, that's broadway
talent which is what you'resupposed to have.
If, if dina and kristen hostedit, it would make sense, yeah
total make sense and that couldhave still pushed their pr for
the movie because they make anappearance in that first
(36:20):
dreadfulful movie.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Yeah, and you know,
like there's so much personality
, especially from Kristen so itwould have worked out.
Speaker 1 (36:26):
Yeah, that would have
been good.
Guys, change your plans.
Okay, I hope they listen.
Speaker 3 (36:31):
I hope they listen.
They better listen.
I just like don't see how it'snot gonna.
Is she funny?
I don't think so.
She's great.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
She's talented, but
I'm bored already.
Yeah, all of the times I seeher on the step and repeats get
interviewed.
I'm like she's got no realpersonality like that, mm-hmm.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
It's very Like.
Even if I said Ariana washosting it, I'd be like uh, yeah
.
Uh Like I wouldn't understandeither.
So, yeah, and it's weirdbecause it's I don't know,
although it would have madesense too if they both hosted it
.
Like why is it just her?
I don't know, it's a confusingthing.
Confusing.
I don't agree with that castingeither, but it is what it is
(37:13):
and it's not going to do well, because every year, the Tony
Awards, after the Tony Awards, they complain how no one watches
them and how the ratings arelow.
Well, guess what?
Because you make these terribledecisions.
Speaker 1 (37:22):
Yes, and you need to
broaden your horizons.
If you're going to have aBroadway theater award, you need
to have someone who's at leastdoing movies in box offices,
like Kristen and Idina, becausepeople don't go to Broadway
shows, but they do see moviesand TV, so this would draw those
(37:43):
people into yeah, yeah anyway, anyway, yeah, those are my
thoughts and opinions of tank.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
Yeah, okay, your
favorite girly?
Oh no, which one?
I'm scared?
Meghan Markle.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Oh no, she needs to
go away too, so.
Speaker 3 (38:09):
I'm surprised I
didn't ask her to host.
Earlier in the week she changedher American Riviera Orchard
brand yeah, and announced thatit was going to be called as
Ever.
Yeah, Okay.
And she like announced with awhole new brand and a logo and
everything, yeah.
Well, now a politician in Spainis reportedly considering suing
(38:29):
Meghan Markle for seeminglyplagiarizing one of the
country's coats of arms for hernew brand as Ever's logo.
That's not the only person.
Yes, I know, there is alsosomeone else in a designer, yeah
, yeah but this is about thelogo in particular, which, oh,
the logo yeah, oh well.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
I'm not surprised she
has no original ideas in that
head of hers.
She doesn't like everything shecomes up with is is from
someone else.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
I just don't
understand how this is like, how
this is possible like what didshe?
Speaker 1 (39:09):
she comes up with
these, these things.
I'm gonna do this and no onetells her.
No, I think everybody's afraidof her.
Speaker 3 (39:14):
I think she's a
tyrant yeah, and it says that
well, what, what are?
Speaker 1 (39:19):
you.
I think she's crazy and yelled.
Speaker 3 (39:25):
I'm gonna just forget
that.
I heard that, but I will saythat I have like the picture
here and it says like here's theoriginal crest, yes, see, yeah.
And then here's the one thatthey're using, stolen.
Speaker 1 (39:41):
Hot off the press.
All she did was change it toblack and white.
Speaker 3 (39:46):
It's a palm, a palm
tree with two birds going
towards the tree.
And then hers is the exact samemarkles is a palm tree with two
birds going towards the tree soshe stole it from spain.
Speaker 1 (39:59):
sue her, go get her,
maybe she'll stop finally.
I don't know, she's a lot.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Yep, that's why I'm
not a fan.
They're after her for that.
Then they're also.
There's a clothing brand that'safter her.
She honestly, she just needs tostop.
Yes, she needs to stop and goaway.
Go away, I don't know.
Also, like the, the woman inspain, the politician in spain,
(40:29):
was saying how like it's hard togo ahead with like a lawsuit
and everything, because it'sgonna just it's gonna cost, like
it's gonna cost a lot of money, but spain has a crazy getter, I
don't.
Speaker 1 (40:41):
they're saying's
going to be like just years and
years and Well, why don't theyjust send her a letter saying
cease and desist, because you'rea thief?
Speaker 3 (40:48):
I mean, I don't know
why.
Speaker 1 (40:50):
Yeah, why?
Maybe?
Yeah, that doesn't cost money.
Speaker 3 (40:53):
Well it does.
I think it costs money For thelawyer to write the letter.
Yeah, but it's outrightthievery it looks like it
thievery anyway.
Yeah, that's the latest on that.
So of course she announced it,did the whole video, yeah, and
now everyone's coming after heragain.
I don't think she could doanything like she could announce
(41:13):
like new the most new socks andsomeone will come and attack
her yeah, because she has no newideas.
Speaker 1 (41:23):
So that's the problem
.
She's just trying everything.
Speaker 3 (41:27):
I know, yeah, Good, I
think she should go back on
suits, I think she should goaway.
Okay, Last story.
I have Last story Go Tinker.
Okay.
So Kylie Kelsey explains whyhusband Jason isn't her
emergency contact.
So my husband is not myemergency contact.
(41:48):
I know earth shattering.
She says.
She says my mother is myemergency contact.
And let me tell you why.
She continued before furtherrevealing that she picked her
mom because the formerPhiladelphia Eagles player gets
too many phone calls.
He gets so many random peoplecalling him.
Um, Kylie Kelsey said and it isinsane how many people call him
(42:11):
from random phone numbers.
And then she explained how umJason doesn't answer his phone
unless the call is coming from anumber he recognizes.
But if her mom were to callJason, he would pick up the
phone without question.
I have full faith, Kylie.
Speaker 1 (42:28):
I agree, but that's
because he's famous, that's why
he gets all the phone calls, andit's not like we're not nearly
any famous like him, but Humangets so many calls from
different area codes, that onher phone too, for us, yeah.
(42:48):
So I get it.
It's a little like which one doyou pick up, which one do you
not pick up?
Do you trust this color?
Do you not trust this color?
So she needs someone who'sgoing to be there instantly.
So I get it.
Kylie, kylie.
Yeah, I kind of get it too.
I get it.
Makes sense.
Very smart move, yeah, yeah, maybe our emergency contacts
(43:09):
should be Deppie.
I don't want to get any calls.
There you go, aw.
Speaker 3 (43:20):
Yeah, yeah, do you
have something else, tinker?
Um, no, that's about it likepretty much, I tried to pick as
many as I could, but that's good.
That's it all right.
I think we're on to me talkingagain, pup culture.
Speaker 1 (43:34):
There we go.
I got three quick stories, allright.
The first one is actually afollow-up, and you might
remember me discussing this ohno, is no.
Speaker 3 (43:42):
Is it the dog man?
No.
Speaker 1 (43:45):
I always, I always
want to.
She's always afraid of the dogman.
Okay, ready, shamrock, thegolden retriever puppy, born
green, is living a lucky life ina new home with a new fur color
.
Now, do you remember when?
Speaker 3 (43:56):
I talked about that I
remember.
Speaker 1 (43:58):
Yes, the puppy was
born green.
Remember here's.
Yes, the puppy was born green.
Remember here's his picture.
Yep, the green dog.
Yeah, green debbie remembers metalking about him.
So shamrock is growing up.
A pensacola florida breederwelcomed the litter in march of
2024.
So I talked about it in march.
Yeah, just before, uh, stpatrick's day.
One of the puppies was green.
(44:19):
They called it Shamrock becauseof that.
So Shamrock's new dad, mikeBurr, discusses how Shamrock,
now 10 months old, has spent thewhole last year.
He knew the moment he saw thislittle green pup with big
personality that she was the onefor him.
Burr first met Shamrock waswhen she was 3 to to four weeks
(44:42):
old and he was knit to theshamrock right away.
See, he didn't care.
Shamrock was green, that's nice.
Recently he decided to retirefrom his job as a liberty shield
manager and he knew when theperfect time was to adopt a
puppy.
When it comes to puppy picking, they said you wait at least six
(45:03):
months to allow for the puppy'spersonalities to form before a
potential owner picks the onethey want to take home.
But with Burr and Shamrock theconnection was instant.
He was like that's the one, that's the one I'm going to get.
He said Well, first of all shewas different, obviously
reminiscent about the Shamrock'sfirst meeting.
But when I picked her up andheld her, she looked at me and
(45:25):
licked my face and I don't know.
I even told my wife.
I said I don't know, there'ssomething about the look that
says this is her.
Aw, look at her baby.
Wow, look, that's a baby, socute.
So the day came, they adoptedher.
They've been inseparable eversince.
That's how big she is now.
(45:46):
Wow, shamrock.
So shamrock is no longer greenand there's all the photos and,
yeah, she's living her life Ican't believe it's been like a
year, since march of 2024 wowyeah, I remember we talking
about shamrock, yeah, so that'swhy I did it okay.
Next story oh, all right.
Her in-laws dog went missing.
(46:08):
She was shocked by where shelater found him where do you
find these stories?
Speaker 3 (46:16):
okay go ahead.
Speaker 1 (46:17):
Zimney was driving
home from her in-laws house with
her husband, toddler and twogolden retrievers when she
received a text asking if theyhad their in-laws 10-year-old
dog Finn.
Her in-laws, who lived inSnohomish Washington, an hour
away from Zimney, and her familyin Renton, had been searching
(46:39):
the entire neighborhood for theblack lab for half an hour.
When they couldn't find him, they finally thought to text.
I asked my husband do we haveFinn?
And he said no, wait, why?
And she said, recalling atfirst glance she only saw her
daughter in the retrievers inthe car.
(47:01):
But then, just to be safe, thefamily decided to pull over on
the highway and check thebackseat of the car.
Just in case, zimney, unbuckled, crawled into the backseat and
used a flashlight on her phoneto look around.
Sure enough, curled up underone of the golden retrievers'
legs, fast asleep, was Finn.
I guess he saw us loading up inthe car.
(47:24):
She said he saw the goldenretrievers hop into the back of
the suv and he figured it wasalso his job to get in the car.
Oh my god.
And it was so dark, and he's sodark that no one noticed,
except for the toddler, as wewere buckling her into her car
seat.
She kept saying, saying bye-byeFinn.
We realized later she wasprobably looking right at him,
(47:48):
but we had no idea.
Oh my gosh, finn then is safe,of course, back home with his
humans, but look, three of themtogether.
So apparently he wanted to gowith his besties.
