I’m a sucker for a country music power ballad, and I can still remember the moment the early 2000s hit "What I Really Meant to Say" stopped me in my tracks. Written and recorded by Cyndi Thomson—a stunning, talented artist from south Georgia with an angelic voice—this song took over the charts in no time. At the height of her career, she seemed to have it all, yet behind the success, Cyndi was battling crippling anxiety. After just one album, she made the difficult decision to step away from the music industry.
The years that followed brought new chapters: family, motherhood, a thriving jewelry design career, and a deepening of her faith, which she now shares in the most beautiful way.
Now, Cyndi is returning to music, with new tracks that showcase some of her best work yet. A full EP is set to drop in late spring, and Cyndi has so much more of her story to tell.
