It's the bab right and beyond beyonsis nice. I'm gonna keep it flat.
These tears on the line last niceflax chickens a last so grabblvet all

(00:32):
right, vibes are right. I'mBeyonce's right. This is another episode of
a podcasted Grab a Glass That's aboutyour truly David Thomas been on a DT
put your money in them The Fuckingpost Boys, also known as the one
only Big Broccolini. Another short episode, another short reminder, another short piece

(00:54):
of perspective for you, as Ineed to get back to my baby boy.
Don't worry, y'all. This won'tforever, okay, but the focus
is the focus. The main thingis the main thing right now. Typically
the main thing was the show youright, you'd be right if you were
to bring that to the forefront totry to remind me. And it will
continue to be very high on thepriority list. However, things have changed,

(01:21):
Life has come upon us, andbaby boy is more important than this.
Even so, I want to firststart off by sending a shout out
and much love to all of thosepeople who are consistently checking in on us.

(01:42):
Really really love y'all for it.Many of you are parents already,
and so your perspective, your reminders, your helpful tips, all of that
has been invaluable, and so I'mreally thankful for that. For sure,
you know who you are. Manyof you listen to the show. It
can it's continue to be important tous. So I really really want to
thank you all for that. Today, I just, you know, want

(02:07):
to deliver a message about seizing themoment right before you reach the pinnacle and
the pitfall that many of us fallinto right before that happens. Right,
We're doing great work, everything's goingwell, and then we allow some version

(02:30):
of a pitfall to stop us.And oftentimes I believe that comes from some
sort of relationship, some person thatcan just throw a wrench, anything in
something or anything bring you down andreally hurt your chances of getting to whatever
that goal is or was. It'salmost like a continuation of what we were

(02:53):
talking about last week, because fuckalmost almost doesn't mean much to me in
my world, never has. Moralvictories haven't really meant much to me.
Sure you can take something from them, but there's something about getting to the
goal that no matter what. AndI realized that I didn't talk about like

(03:15):
what might stop that. And therewere so many examples that have been top
of mind in pop culture recently thatmade me think about this. I want
to add this to that message fromlast week. My mom and I have
been watching this limited series called Holston. I was not aware of the person

(03:37):
the designer who was super famous waybefore my time, and you know,
the name has continued to ring on, but didn't know the story of the
person who was doing excellent work asa designer New York fashion based and one
relationship with the wrong person really reallythrough a wrench in the things that he

(03:58):
was doing. Now, obviously youhave to say responsibility for yourself and your
actions. He was a frequent druguser and things of that nature, but
a lot of that stemmed and beganwith a really horrible relationship that it was

(04:18):
very clear that he knew wasn't goodfor him, but there was some other
benefit that he was taking from it, and it really really put a fucking
massive stop on his growth in hiscareer. I think about the conversations that
are happening around Jonathan Major's and thiswoman that he was involved with, and

(04:39):
now I don't, as you guysknow, condone any sort of domestic violence.
However, out of the mouth ofJonathan Majors, he said himself,
this is a toxic relationship, andbefore it even got there, I should
have got out. I knew,I knew this relationship was bad. I
knew that it was toxic. Iknew that it was poisoned and putriated,
and I should get the fuck out. I think about, as you guys
know, my favorite Rick Ross,he's dealing with so baby mama drama at

(05:04):
the moment. Again, don't knowthe ins and outs. I just know
that along his rise got involved withsomeone who seems to now right as he's
getting ready to hit another pinnacle, throwing a wrench into it. I just
think that our relationships are super important, especially as we are all trying to
ascend and grow and get to thatgoal. What would stop you from getting

(05:28):
there? Is it a person? Is it a relationship? Is it somebody
who isn't going to feed you thepositivity and the affirmations that you need.
I think about that all the time, all the fucking time. Who is
on my side for real? Whois backing me for real? Who is
saying positive shit about me? Myshow, my family? When I'm not

(05:53):
in the room, food for thought, some of the thing about y'all know.
I love y'all. We'll talk nextweek as we always do. Much
love to the creators, no matteryour flavor, My God forever being our
favorite. YO. Cheers everybody,Thanks for listening.
