.
And I just keep saying thething because I want to give you
opportunity to share and justshare like what's so good about
it and how it's impacted yourlife, and I definitely audience.
(02:31):
No joke, I got some things tosay about this, all right.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
So go ahead, tell us
what you have happening.
Yeah, so we.
So, technically, the thing thatwe're doing right now is called
shackley, and shackley hasactually been around for 70
years and I had no idea, right?
Um, but our journey throughwhat we were doing physically,
for health, wise, and stuff likethat, started about two years
(03:01):
ago, and so, if you don't mind, can I start there?
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Please do, the floor
is yours.
Speaker 2 (03:12):
Okay, you're in
trouble.
No, so about two years ago, samand I started talking about
getting healthier and doingthings clean, making sure that
our temples have been cleanedcompletely inside, and whatever
happens on the outside is abonus.
(03:33):
Basically, we just wanted toeat healthier and we've noticed
the effects of how health isaffected by our food and things
like that.
And so we started on thisjourney to losing weight and we
did great through the, through aprogram and I'm not knocking
the other program, because weare kind of still doing that
(03:54):
along with Shackley and itbasically centered on different
foods that we would eat and howour bodies would react to it.
So we would single out certainfoods and see how that would
react to our bodies, and therewere foods that I could eat that
sam could not, and vice versa, and, uh, we lost a lot of weight
(04:17):
out of that.
Well, yeah and yeah, and now hecan because of the cleaning,
clean eating and stuff like that, like before he couldn't.
Speaker 3 (04:26):
You could coconut,
yeah I was allergic to coconut
yeah so I you know I becameunallergic.
Speaker 2 (04:31):
I don't know how to
do it.
Yeah yeah, I can have coconutnow, so it's so weird how that
worked out.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
It's god I yeah
because I always liked the
flavor.
Yeah, I never could have it itlike literally he would we.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
He went and washed
sorry bath and body works, but
he had he had um their coconutlime verbena a hand wash and
would wash his hands and cameout and was completely red like
his whole.
So we had to bend and drill himwell, it was something,
something had coconut in itanyway, um.
(05:06):
But during that journey, as Iwas going through that program,
I realized that my um health wasactually connected to my mental
health and realized that therewere some trauma points, that I
had used food to cover up somemental issues and things like
that with myself, and I didn'tknow it.
(05:29):
So I reverted back and justquit everything, um, stopped
doing all of the program andeverything like that, and um,
because I it just triggered.
It was this huge trigger and Ihad no idea.
I didn't realize how deeplyrooted it was.
And so we started going intocounseling and doing a lot of
(05:51):
things like that.
And then we just like, we gotto get back to eating well again
because we felt so great, likewe were sleeping better, I
didn't have leg cramps in themiddle of the night, I didn't go
to the bathroom every twoseconds.
You know just things like that.
And so a friend of mine who wasat a she was with a different
(06:13):
company.
She had been with this companyfor 25 years.
She's like I'm quitting thatcompany, I'm doing this and let
me, let me share with you.
And I literally just talked toher two weeks ago, like before.
She told me about Shackley anduh, with her other program or
with her other company and um,and she was like Heather, I'm
(06:33):
doing this big thing, I'mstepping out on faith, we're
doing this whole faith thing and, uh, I want you to come with me
and you know, you know when, when she was doing her other,
she was with a cosmetic companybefore and she could tell in my
face that I was really super dryand had a lot of imperfections
(06:56):
and stuff like that.
Well, not like you knowanything like big, but still it
was just like red and dry andshe was like you need some more,
you know, moisture in you orsomething like that.
I can't remember what she saidanyway, so she told me about
shackley and we got started onthe.
(07:18):
Which one did we take first?
Speaker 3 (07:20):
life shake, life
shakes and then we had the b
complex, vitamin c and d3 andthen also um collagen the
collagen yeah yeah which isalready in our bodies.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
Y'all collagen's
already in our bodies.
This is just a supplement forthose of us who are lacking.
So, um, and I noticed I don'thave.
I'm not dry anymore.
I don't have hardly anyimperfections anymore.
Sam is actually feeling babysoft, smooth.
Speaker 1 (07:55):
Y'all, it helps
marriages too.
There you go.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Yes, it does.
So it's just.
And then just recently Inoticed that you know, and I
call it my boulder holder to be,you know somewhat, oh yeah, but
my bra, my latches, I grow themin like I'm clicking.
I moved up one and I'm soexcited I'm always on the last
one, always but I went in and mybelt size, my belt loop went in
(08:24):
one, and Sam too.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yes, so good.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
I love it.
Tell you about Shackley I loveit.
Speaker 1 (08:35):
Well, let me just say
this I've actually have to go
back to something that's superimportant, right Cause, when we
talk about our temples, um, youknow, for our listeners if you
followed along or even if thisis your first time our temples
are God designed right, and so,when he designed our body, he
designed it with this emotionalcapacity, with this physical
(08:55):
capacity, with this mental andspiritual, and all four of those
work together.
They all need to be in balance.
And when I say in balance, thatdoesn't mean it's like 25, 25,
25, 25, right, there are timesand seasons where maybe 35 is
here and 20 is here, but thereis a balance.
I always say when there'sunbalance, the number one sign
(09:17):
is that there is no peace.
Right, and so, when we talkabout like impacts to, like you
mentioned, mental health, right,a lot of it is the things that
we are putting in our bodySpiritually.
What are we putting in right, like, are we doing our
meditation and time with theword right?
Are we doing our worship time?
Are we letting the emotionsthat we have inside of us out so
(09:40):
that we can be emotionallyhealthy?
Right?
And then, of course, course, there's that physical aspect and
, like you said, the food playsa huge factor.
The quality of the type ofvitamins and the liquids that
we're taking in play a hugefactor as well.
Right, and so I have my ownjourney with Shackley.
(10:01):
I'm going to like jump in for amoment because you mentioned the
collagen, right, which is myabsolute fave.
Like listeners, if you have notseen me, go check out Facebook,
instagram anywhere, and look atphotos from the last two weeks
versus months and years ago.
Right, even in this moment, Iam used to like have to put on
(10:25):
makeup because I'm like my skinhas so many blemishes, different
skin tones.
I was consistently dry.
I have always had dry skin andin taking the collagen, combined
with supplements, it has beenso impactful, y'all.
Even in this moment, I'm likeno makeup, skin is like hydrated
(10:46):
, matter of fact.
At times I'm like, oh, is therea little oil there?
Oh, my gosh.
Yes, you know hair nails, butthe biggest thing for me is even
muscle, right, like I have beendoing weight lifting.
I have done, like you know, working on the physical temple
(11:09):
and since I've been taking thecollagen, it's been like this
muscle is forming and it'sforming fast.
Right, like what is happening.
Could I have done this all mylife, right, yeah, so there's so
many benefits that we see fromthe quality and the pureness of
(11:31):
the Shackley products, and so,sam, I would love to hear from
you because I do want to have aconversation even about, like,
the hormone components that areimpacted by the things we bring
in our home, but we'll talkabout that a little bit later.
So, sam, with your weight lossjourney and your Shackley
experience like, how do you feel, like it's hit you, maybe even
(11:51):
a little bit differently thanHeather?
Speaker 3 (11:54):
So with the weight
loss journey, I did Heather and
I did the same thing, so we well, I guess I learned how to cook.
Speaker 4 (12:03):
The big focus on that
with the original weight loss
journey, but we did.
Speaker 3 (12:07):
we lost so much
weight and for me it affected me
a little different, I guess, than her, because you know, I'm
just excited to see, you know,be able to fit into my older
clothes and and stuff like that.
But then when we, when itstruck heather with when or
triggered some deep-rootedemotional issues, we stopped and
it and we, we stopped thehardcore I guess I really don't
(12:31):
know what to call that, butanyways, we, we stopped doing
that and then we did continuewhen we could.
And then we had some financialthings come in that affected,
you know, our ability to buysome of the healthier foods,
because it's still too expensivein some cases but it's getting
better.
But we did keep our diet sortof consistent, but sometimes not
(12:53):
anyways.
So we gained back some of that.
And then, with Shackley, whenwe came on one of the things
obviously we were, we're losingweight again.
It's a little bit more steady, not super rapid, fast, but it's
definitely noticeable, which Ithink may be even healthier.
Um, but for me personally, um,I'll just jump right in on the
vitamin D3, because I I wasdiagnosed a long time ago with a
(13:17):
D3 deficiency and it wasaffected.
I guess D3 can affect all kindsof things, not just your bones,
but it was affecting my nervesin my face and I thought I was
losing sensations or feelings.
I thought I had all kinds ofstuff wrong.
You know how that can triggeranxiety about health.
But what it was was a D3deficiency and they recommended
(13:38):
taking vitamins.
So I started taking all kindsof off the shelf vitamins and I
never noticed a difference.
And with Shackley and Imentioned this earlier to our
upline I took D3 for about amonth and I started to notice
the difference.
I had a lot less pain.
It was more like a really coldsensation on my side of my nose
(13:59):
and Heather could feel it.
Something changed when Istarted taking the D3 and some
of it may have something to dowith the B12 or the B complex
vitamins.
But that's the biggest thing, aside from the weight loss and
maybe feeling more hydrated Forme.
That really struck me was mynerves felt like they were
healing and.
(14:19):
I have not had a return to theway it used to be, even being
off the D3.
A couple of days we've been out.
You know we've been out I guessfor a couple of days now, but
it just I can tell a difference.
So probably my biggest, biggestchange.
And then the emotional aspect,I mean B complex.
I did notice and I wasmentioning to Heather this the
(14:44):
dirt colored glasses I guessthat I had on everything.
I don't want to use a certainword.
I was viewing life through.
Speaker 5 (14:54):
I realized that it
was lifting you know yes.
Speaker 3 (14:58):
Just to I mean a
testimony to the power of what
God gave us.
Speaker 2 (15:03):
Already created.
Speaker 3 (15:04):
Created for us
naturally to take in that,
honestly, with all the processedfoods that we eat all the time
in this country we aren'tgetting, and now all of a sudden
we're getting it.
I realized the difference.
He intended for us to have allof this stuff in our bodies.
He provided it for us, andthat's one of the things I think
Shackley's really focused on ismaking sure not only that
(15:26):
they're providing you with ahigh quality supplement, but
they're making sure that there'sno trash in the supplements
that they're giving you or anyof the products that they're
giving you.
They really go with the ewgcertification they really go out
of their way for that and itshows.
So I can, I, I can know that.
(15:47):
Not only am I being helped withthis and I can see it, I can
feel it.
My emotions are a lot better,my, my nerves feel better.
I do sleep better most of thetime, I just I.
I'm drinking coffee today, butI don't rely on the coffee as
much.
I was doing five cups, six cupsof coffee or more a day,
drinking it at night, and Inoticed also, in addition to
(16:14):
everything else that I've justrattled off, I don't rely on
that.
So there's definitely apositive change, and you may not
notice it right away.
Some of the energy you donotice right away, but you look
back over the last month or sothat you've been taking it and
you go this is different, thisis different, that's better,
that's better.
So, yeah, that's really whereI'm at with with my journey.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
Yes, absolutely Okay.
So I love that.
You know you talked aboutsomething that's super crucial
is how the vitamins right, likethe B12 complex, the vitamin D3
affected your emotion state even.
And here at Graceful Communitywe is a lot of times what we're
seeing is because of vitamindeficiency.
It's something that, yes, godintended for us to have in our
(17:07):
body a certain amount, a certainlevel.
And because we no longer havethose things coming through our
foods because so much of it isprocessed, those things coming
through our foods because somuch of it is processed, right,
if we're not supplementing andbringing those things in and
having those pure, high qualityproducts.
I love that Shackley has like ahundred plus patent.
(17:27):
They go through extremescreening process beyond the US,
right, like there's differencesabout Shackley and just going
to your local likepharmaceutical store, right.
And so you know, even when wetalk about, like your
relationships and your, yourability to have community and be
(17:47):
with others and have healthylike relationships, those
vitamins play a part of how weprocess.
Those vitamins play a part ofhow we process.
They play a part of our brain'sability to, you know, process
emotions and maybe even processlike our own awareness and so
forth.
And so I've experienced the verysame thing, with adding in,
(18:09):
like the collagen, changing myeating because it does.
When you're taking thesesupplements and you're taking
this collagen, you're like, okay, well, I'm not doing this for
nothing.
So now I'm also changing myeating, I'm a lot more conscious
of what I'm putting into mybody, and after a couple of
weeks of seeing a difference, itwas like, oh, I feel better, I
have more energy, myrelationships are better, right,
(18:33):
and so it only encourages youto want to continue doing so.
One of the things that I wantto talk about that even does
affect men, right, because weall have hormones in our bodies.
We all have a form of hormones, right, like we, the first thing
you think about men, you'relike, oh, testosterone, right,
men actually have a form ofestrogen in them too.
(18:53):
And then, as ladies, right, andso, and as a personal journey,
like I, have startedexperiencing this lovely
perimenopause state and in such,I also have have had PCOS
symptoms, and so, in such, whenI came into Shackley, I was a
mess, y'all, like a mess allover the place.
(19:15):
One day I'm happy, the next dayI'm sad, right, and so you know
, I had did all the things liketrying to figure out, like, what
is happening and my lovelyfamily I mean, lord knows they
were just as impatient as can be.
My husband, for sure, was like, lord, please help her, please
help us, like what is.
(19:35):
But so the time I came intoShackley, I actually had just
seen, like a holistic nurse or afunctional medicine nurse, that
we have went over a lot of thethings that were affecting my
hormones.
And then I also was introducedto Shackley, right.
And so in that introduction I'mlike this is all the things
(19:58):
that, like, this holistic doctorwas talking to me about, and it
can't be coincidence, lord, that it's right here in front,
right.
So if you're listening, I wantto encourage you don't sit here
and be just a hearer and not adoer, right, like.
If you are like, hey, I couldconnect or, hey, I'm struggling
with this, y'all show notes hasthe link so that you can go to
(20:18):
Sam and Heather store and learnmore about Shackley.
There is a lovely test thatI'll let them tell you about
that.
You know you can find out whatvitamins maybe you need.
But for, for my experience, whathappened was I started taking
these vitamins, I started payingmore attention to my eating and
I started even changing theproducts in our home.
(20:41):
Because when we talk about, likehormone disruptors right, like
a lot of times, the cleaningproducts that we're using soaps,
that we're using the laundrydetergent all of those disrupt
our hormones.
And so I it's myself and mydaughter and we both were
experiencing some, somechallenges, some female
challenges, with these hormonedisruptors.
And as I changed those thingsout, took the vitamins, took the
(21:05):
collagen, and we are both doingthis.
We both, like you, areexperiencing weight loss, have
seen major differences in ourskin, but even greater major
differences in our skin, buteven greater.
I feel better, I'm resting atnight, I feel healthier, my
brain power, I'm like my brainis back, y'all it's working the
(21:26):
way it should In so many ways.
And so, with that, if you'resomebody listening, heather, I
would ask, like, if somebody islistening and they're like, I
don even know where to start, Idon't know, like you know what
to do, what would you refer themto do first?
Speaker 2 (21:43):
um, if you're
starting off with shackley, I
would suggest to do the lifeshakes.
Basically, it's a mealsupplement.
You just use it for one mealand then whatever you eat for
the rest of the day is fine.
But like that one mealsupplement, changing it, and we
do it for breakfast becausewe're breaking our fast.
(22:04):
But sometimes we I mean whenwe've been clean eating we'll do
like eggs and bacon and stufflike that and you know very lean
bacon or whatever.
But, um, but like, justsupplementing that and taking
that out and having just theshake just changes everything
from that day because your bodyis still going through its cycle
(22:26):
, even though it's breaking thatfast.
There's like there's thisrhythm that it's got going on
and so having that shake, justlike, basically sets the
standard for the rest of the day.
So I would say, do the shake.
Or if you don't want to do thatsupplement, I would do collagen
for sure, for that can be mixedin with like a smoothie or your
(22:52):
coffee.
You can mix it in with yourcoffee, I mean, and they, they
come in.
You can either get it in a bigpacket where it gives you the
scoop of how many, or you can doit in the little packets like
they come individually, so youdon't even have to measure.
So that's yeah because if you'rewaking up, you don't have to
think coffee.
Yeah, yeah, he's a coffee guy.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
I'm a coffee guy.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
So yeah, yeah but
yeah, that would be my first
suggestion.
And if you're doing food, Iwould say, if it's not something
from the ground or, um, from ananimal you know animal products
and stuff like real animalproducts I wouldn't eat it.
Like if it's boxed up, probably, say no and just take and give
(23:37):
yourself grace, because you'vebeen used to doing all of these
things um, it's gonna take sometime for your brain to be like I
have to go without what youknow.
It's just your.
Give yourself grace, it's okay, and I'm sure god's gonna be
fine with it too, you know, because he knows that you're
working toward the goal.
(23:58):
Not, you're not just you don'thave to push yourself all in.
Of course it's better to do itthat way, as some people have
said, but for me, I'm a slowerlearner.
I like to learn things you knowslowly so that I'm ingesting it
all at once if that makes sense.
Slowly, so that I'm ingestingit all at once if that makes
(24:21):
sense.
But yeah, so we're like I havecut out a lot of starches, like
potatoes and french fries andpastas that had.
I don't even go like the wholewheat side of those things and
and actually I did it mostlybecause of the diabetes part of
my thing that would spike me alot.
(24:42):
I actually realized after doingchocolate for a while I don't
even have the responses fromthat anymore.
So we had we actually hadspaghetti the other day.
I didn't even respond and thatand I'm normally like we'll be
like, oh, I've had too much, youknow but yeah, in the yeah,
(25:04):
right, spaghetti, yeah, and itdidn't react, so it I mean it's
like it's transforming our life.
We love it.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
It's the protein yeah
, yeah, the life shakes have a
lot of protein.
Yes, yes, and so you're gettingthis consistent protein every
morning.
And protein.
I've decided to know this.
I'm sure a lot of people haveknown this for a long time but,
protein is a really good fighteragainst blood sugar spikes.
It helps it really helps withyour blood sugar spikes and, and
(25:31):
because there's so muchconsistent protein in the life
shake, I think that's where it'sreally started to help heather
and I've seen the differencewith that because she would
fluctuate so fast and so rapidand there were a lot of things.
We had a growing list of stuffthat we were trying to avoid
yeah, which is I mean really agood thing, but we couldn't even
splurge once in a while no,like we did with the spaghetti,
(25:52):
it would be immediate.
We had pizza, like three or fourdays ago, which and these are
all junk foods, but we don'tmake a steady diet of anymore.
But yeah, with the protein inthese life shakes, I think
that's really what so we, wehaven't stopped like enjoying
life right, we right, we've justseparated it from the daily
life, like we're not doing itevery single day anymore.
Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
We still have a good,
you know, healthy.
We're going to go out to eattoday and but we haven't had it
in like a few days or whatever,or like a whole week or two
weeks.
You know, it just depends.
Speaker 1 (26:29):
So I try to eat very
clean.
Yeah, I love that.
So it's, it's interesting.
That's actually exactly whatwe're doing here, and my rule of
thumb is we don't bring it inthe home, right, like we're
still living, so we still haveactivities.
Lord knows, we have graduationparties, birthday parties, like
all these different things.
But because we're not bringingit in our home and because we're
(26:49):
starting our base off with sucha high level of protein, like
you said, between the shakes, the collagen I mean, if you guys
know anything about likepeptides and amino acids for our
listeners like this collagen isit like it has all the like
nine amino essential acids thatour bodies need and so we start
our day with that.
I have found that, even in goinginto those occasions where I
(27:11):
used to like be able to sit downand eat a whole pizza and feel
like I'm still going, it's likeI eat two slices and it's like
I'm satisfied, I'm done, and Ieven feel a difference to say
like, oh, we're, this iscomplete, right, yeah, so that's
super great.
Y'all listeners, we're going totake a quick break.
I want you to tune in to oursponsors and how, uniquely
(27:33):
enough, you're going to hearjust a little bit more Shackley
during our break.
But stay tuned, come back on,because we're going to talk
about some things that you cando for your entire family in
your home with Shackley.
Speaker 5 (27:45):
All right, hey let's
take a quick break.
Nine out of 10 Americans aren'tgetting the essential nutrients
we need from our diets.
Aren't getting the essentialnutrients we need from our diets
.
Well, now you can with ShackleyVitalizer.
In fact, to get all thenutrients in a single VitaStrip,
you'd have to eat all of thesefoods and probably live in the
(28:06):
supermarket too.
Only Shackley Vitalizer usesthe smart delivery system
designed to dramatically improvethe absorption of nutrients by
releasing them at exactly theright place and time in your
body.
We all want to thrive every day.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
All right, gracefield
community.
We are back in this amazingconversation talking about the
goodness that the Lord hasprovided through a company
called Shackley, and so, youknow, at the break we were just
going over some of the thingsthat we have seen with Shackley,
and one of the things that isso funny is because we closed
out with Heather talking aboutthe collagen and different ways
(29:20):
you could get it.
And so, guys, if you follow mystories on the Nicole Cater side
maybe not Graceful community,so if you're not following me
personally, it's our NicoleCater.
I had talked about, like I takethe collagen actually every
morning, every morning.
Okay, it's made that much of adifference.
I am without fail every morningand there's so many different
(29:42):
ways I take it.
So I have put it in my proteinyogurt, I take it in my coffee.
Well, I don't do coffee anymore.
That's a benefit of Shackley.
I have totally cut out coffee, which, if anybody knows me, I
was coffee three, four times aday.
It is incredible, I do not docoffee.
But I have put it in my greentea, I have put it in my protein
shakes, all kinds of stuff, andso my family recently went on a
(30:05):
cruise because that is our wayto get away and connect with
Jesus and recharge, to come backand continue doing the work
Right.
And so, while we're on a cruise, right before we went on a
cruise, right before we went onthe cruise, I had recorded and
put a video about hey, I'm goingto use Shackley on this cruise
and that how we had theseindividual packs and guys.
(30:25):
I did the video and forgot topress my order button.
I got ready to go on the cruiseand I'm like I don't have my
collagen sticks and I go look, and I didn't press order.
Okay, how much I love thecollagen is.
I took a big old Ziploc freezerbag, put my collagen powder in
(30:47):
there, rolled it up and I waslike I hope these people don't
think I'm bringing drugs.
I was like I am trying itbecause I cannot go without my
collagen.
Yes and so no joke.
If you look, you will see aremy stories how I'm sitting by on
the side of an ocean viewwindow with this Ziploc bag a
chopstick sick and a little likeshot glass right Mixing my
(31:12):
collagen every morning on thiscruise.
I love it.
I love cruise.
I love it.
I love it.
I love it.
It is such a great product thatI was willing to risk cruise
protection stopping me asking meif I have drugs.
Okay all right right so beforethe break, um, we actually
(31:39):
talked about just we.
We said we're going to talkabout some of the things that
affect your home.
Right and just um.
Real quick, heather, tell usabout one of the um things that
shackley offers that can helpprotect like your home as a
whole.
Speaker 2 (31:54):
Yeah.
So a lot of the, a lot of whatthey are doing is just trying to
get clean all over, so thatincludes your home, and they
have a starter kit actually thathelps you to get all of that
going.
So you can do it with yourlaundry, with bathroom items
like your hand soaps and thingslike that, and also kitchen
(32:15):
items as well.
I actually had a friend.
She does Young Living and whenshe was getting into Young
Living she was realizing a lotof the products that were in
there were actually aiding inher cancer that she was
developing and stuff.
So they are going.
(32:36):
So Shackley has gone, they'regoing beyond the process of
going green and basically nofumes.
They have a no fragrance and aregular and even the regular is
a repeated fragrance in all ofthe products.
So you're not getting this likeall these different you know
(32:58):
flavors going on at one time.
It's just like one giant flavorand I think that's even like um
, um, like an uh, essential oiltype of thing and stuff.
So it that's even.
But they take out all thingsthat are chlorine.
They take out all things thatare ammonia, no phosphates, no
(33:20):
nitrates and I'm cheating herebecause I don't know all these
things, yet no harmful fumes andthey don't do animal testing.
So the things that are going onyour floor, things that are
going on the things your animals, your babies can crawl around
and just be fine withoutrealizing, like how much is
going into all of that.
Speaker 3 (33:41):
Yeah they even have
some yeah it smells so good.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
They even have some
commercial products.
So if you run a business andstuff and you're cleaning,
you're having to clean up yourbusiness and stuff.
You can buy commercial gradeitems too, Orchard.
So yeah, yes.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
I love it.
So when I first was looking atShackley, one of the things I
noticed is that they were thefirst company in the entire
world to be certified climateneutral, and so they were even
the first ever people to bringEarth Day products.
And they've been around y'all.
Like, if you're a millenniallike me, I'm gonna like I'm a
millennial, literally I'm on thecutoff right, but I never heard
(34:22):
of shackley.
And so when I heard of it, Iwas just like what is this and
how do I not know about it?
Right?
Um, but they have been around,um, and proven, tested, tried,
gone through the fire like no,yeah, one of the pieces, um, dr
shack there's.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
So there the name is
actually after a doctor and he
actually created the firstmultivitamin in 1915.
And they thought that he wasquackers, um, because he, but
what he did was basically takeall the nutrients because they
didn't have processed foods andstuff like we do now.
(35:02):
Um, that stuff didn't come upuntil like 60s, 70s I think, and
then um, but, but he took themultivitamin and also the first
protein powder.
I think was his first.
So Dr Shackley, look him up,you can see him, read about him
and everything like that too.
And then the company started.
(35:22):
The official company started in1956.
Speaker 1 (35:26):
Yes, awesome.
Speaker 2 (35:27):
I did not know that.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
That is an incredible
fact.
Yeah, I'm a nerd.
Well, I love it.
I love it.
We nerds, oh goodness, Bad.
Okay.
So you know, if somebody was,you know, I'm sure we have
listeners that are like I'mconsidering, I don't know where
to get started.
(35:49):
Like you know, I know I needsome vitamins, but who knows
what, like what, would yourecommend them to do, Sam?
Speaker 3 (35:58):
So what Shackley does
is they have this awesome
option that if you are lookingfor what to take, they have a
questionnaire and you, when you, when you register for this um,
it asks you all kinds ofquestions about yourself, um
things about your, maybe yourmedical history, um areas like
(36:20):
they are, you know, focus, energy, your eyes, even, um,
just just different things thatyou're looking to improve.
It will ask you about justabout everything and if you want
to get more detailed, you caneven upload your blood work.
So if you have a recent bloodtest or lab test, lab work,
(36:41):
whatever it's called, you can.
There's a, there's a page that,when you click, if you, if you
want to do that, you can clickinto that, and it has all these
different fields where you caninsert the information that
corresponds to your blood work.
And it'll get even differentfields where you can insert the
information that corresponds toyour blood work and it'll get
even more tailored.
But even if you don't, if youdon't want to do that, the
questionnaire the originalquestionnaire alone is is enough
(37:01):
to really tailor these vitaminsspecifically to you, um, so,
and it'll even put your name onthe package.
So it's yeah, I believe it's a30 30 day supply and you just
take the package out of the box, break it off, open it up and
there's all your vitamins rightthere.
And if you it's a, it's free totake the questionnaire, it
(37:22):
doesn't cost you anything.
Then you get the option tochoose whether or not you want
to do the vitamins or not, oryou can it'll give you the list
of every vitamin that itsuggests so that you can
handpick just the ones you wantif you don't want to take all of
them.
So I find that to be reallyuseful, because I'm not really I
wasn't sure other than the D3,I really wasn't sure what I
(37:43):
needed.
So, and just based off thequestions, it really does tailor
to you.
Speaker 1 (37:49):
Yeah, which I mean, I
guess, when we think about it,
makes sense, right, like thevitamins and the things that my
body needs should, by right, betotally different than what
maybe, like isaiah, my husbandneeds, or what a friend needs.
And I think that just so oftenwe just go and say, okay, I'm
just gonna take thismultivitamin, I'm just gonna
take this, and we don't reallyunderstand, like, where we're at
(38:11):
.
And so the thing that I didlike about that test is that it
really evaluated like patterns, right, like what is your sleep
pattern?
What are these things?
And then for me, a couple ofyears ago, I had an amazing
friend, bless me with aancestrycom, right, and so
that's something that the testactually even did too.
Like I was able to like sync,it load my ancestrycom results
(38:35):
and y'all, it was able to say, like, based on you know what we
know about these people DNA,these are some of the things
that run in your family, whichis why we would recommend you
take these vitamins.
Life-changing, so such a greatresource, especially to be free.
I was like, hey, yes, let's doit.
Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah, great resource,
especially to be free.
Speaker 2 (38:55):
I was like, hey, yes,
let's do it, yeah, yeah yeah, I
forgot about the uh geneticstest you can put in there.
Yeah, yeah, you don't have todo just ancestry, you can do 20,
23 and me right I think 23 andme or whatever, whatever yeah,
whatever the ancestry, yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever one you
want, yeah yes, so cool, allright, guys.
Speaker 1 (39:12):
So as we get ready to
close out, today I just want to
y'all, do you guys hear noise?
Let me tell you our listenersyou know I have three teenagers
this is a authenticconversational show.
Somebody just turned on thespeaker in our living room and
(39:35):
it definitely has like thesurround sound and I'm like,
whoa, are we having a movie day?
Like, did I miss the invite?
All right, so as we get readyto close out and just you know,
give our listeners a chance toreally check out Shackley guys.
The link and everything is inthe show notes.
(39:55):
It is all there for you.
I would ask is there anythingthat you would give as like a
final advice, a final tool forour listeners, if you are
looking to make like a healthchange, a wellness change?
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Yeah, first one, like
I have said before, have grace
for yourself.
You are learning about yourself.
A lot of people don't know thatthemselves often, and so,
especially when it comes tointernal health, what you're
eating and why you're eatingwhat you're eating and stuff
Sometimes it would, they'reconnected.
(40:30):
So just be gracious to yourself.
Stuff sometimes it would, they're connected, so just be
gracious to yourself.
And then the final one is ifyou do try out Shackley and I
really really, really stronglyurge you to try it Just try it,
even if it's just one time.
I think you're going to fall inlove with it even after the one
time.
But just try it, you will get.
And if you're not satisfied, they're 100 money back guarantee
(40:53):
.
They don't even question, likeif you use the whole entire
bottle and you say at the end Idon't want it, give them the
bottle and they'll give you yourmoney back.
That's how it is.
So I mean it's worth the risk,it's worth the try.
You're not like walking intosomething that is, you know
they're.
They're gonna like pull the rugout from underneath you or
(41:16):
anything like that.
It is like super transparent.
That's one of the reasons why Ilove that.
Speaker 3 (41:20):
So yeah, I mean
that's my, my take.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
You got anything?
Speaker 3 (41:25):
well, she took the
words out of my mouth on this
first one.
Yeah, you definitely need gracefor yourself.
Um, yes, yeah, definitely.
Um, especially that goes withanything that you're trying to
learn that's new and develophabits and take 21 days to
really get a habit.
Uh, developed enough to whereyou stick with it yeah um, but
(41:47):
yes, uh, with, I had, it was inthere and it just left.
Speaker 1 (41:51):
Holy Spirit help.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
Right?
No, what I was going to say isis if you do decide to take the
plunge and try somethingShackley, any any of the
products, give it six weeks, andyou know you really do need
that time.
So, while you're givingyourself grace and reminding
yourself every day that this isgoing to be beneficial, allow
six weeks, at least six weeks,to really look back.
(42:15):
That's basically two months yeahum, to look back and say this
is different and that'sdifferent, because, I mean, I I,
I, from personal experience, know that you will see a
difference and you'll be able tolook back and go yeah, I feel
better yeah, I think after two,two or three weeks people were
like oh, something's happeningto your face.
Something you can definitelytell within two weeks In a good
(42:35):
way.
Speaker 2 (42:36):
Yeah, yeah we were
noticing it, like the softness
of our hands, and we're like, ohlook, Phil.
Speaker 1 (42:45):
I tell you all it
helps marriages.
There you go.
Speaker 2 (42:52):
For them to come out
with the toothpaste Right.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
Yes, yes, go right,
yes, yes, so good, oh, my
goodness.
So you know, um, even when wewere talking about the vitamins,
I will say, as like um, a momof three teenagers who I mean
y'all reminding for stuff islike that's part of my brain,
like I'm reminding everybodyelse of their stuff, right, and
so we believe in raising somevery independent, like, teaching
(43:19):
them how to do life Right, andso, even in the Shackley process
, I've had a lot ofconversations about what we're
putting in our body.
We have changed as an entirefamily what comes in our home,
what we're eating, right, evengiving them the awareness of,
even when we're out, like howcan we make conscious choices
with the selections that we have?
Right, like maybe we're goingto do some grilled chicken
(43:41):
versus the fried chicken andthings of that sort.
But in that, so the thing aboutthe meology if you have
children, let me tell you theymake it so easy with the
multivitamins for the kids too.
There's not an assessment, because we know that just a
study has shown us that thereare certain things that kids
need in their developmentprocess, right In their growth
(44:02):
process, and so even my threeteens, we get the meology kids
vitamins for each of them.
It is so convenient because, like you like getting labeled
them with their little images,so like my daughter has, like
the little castle Right, andthen their names on them.
It is so convenient because, like you like get labeled them
with their little images, solike my daughter has, like the
little castle right, and then ithas their names on them.
So, in the box arise, it has alovely slot where you just pull
out that day's vitamin.
It easily rips off and they'rejust taking a package of gummies
(44:25):
, um, and they're good Like.
Not a single kid has been likeI don't want to take this, this
is nasty.
They even same thing for theircrews.
They like pulled out their ripand like ripped out seven and
was like pack my seven vitamins.
So it is super good for thewhole family.
Right, like when we just like wewould with Christ.
(44:45):
Right, like I don't want anyone, anyone, not to receive the
salvation of Christ, and so itis my duty, my life mission, as
we all should have, is to bewitnesses, to tell the goodness
of God, to share the good newsso that someone else has the
option, because I can't make thechoice for you, but I can give
(45:08):
you the information.
So you have the option to makea change, and this is the same
with Shackley we are giving youthe option to make a change,
right.
So I cannot, in good conscience, not have come on and tell our
Graceville community about thisthing that has been
life-changing.
So many of you have asked likeoh, nicole, you look great,
what's going on with your skin?
(45:30):
Or in the Graceville communityand our ride in the car with me
videos.
I have seen your guys' commentslike is that the sun?
Like you look so good.
As much as I would like to takecredit, first of all, I didn't
create myself and there are somethings that I am using that is
helping the process.
So Graceville community, helpme.
Thank you, heather and Sam, forthe process.
(45:53):
So Graceville community, helpme.

Gracefield Community is allabout doing church the way
(47:12):
Church of Acts did, using fivemain principles that we see in
the Book of Acts.
Sharing resources, as believerspooled their possessions and
resources to support those inneed, as we see in Acts 2.44.
Through hospitality the earlyChristians practiced hospitality
(47:34):
by opening their homes toothers, as we see in Acts 2 and
46.
By financial aid the church inAntioch sent financial aid to
believers in Judea during a timeof famine, as described in Acts
11 and 29.
Prayer and encouragement theysupported each other through
(47:57):
prayer and encouragement, as wesee in Acts 4 and 24.
And finally, spiritual guidancethe apostles and elders
provided spiritual guidance andteaching to help strengthen and
build the community, as we seein Acts 1530.
I would like to encourage you.
If any of those areas are areasin which you are in need or can
(48:23):
contribute, please reach out toGraceville Community.
We are working together acrossthe world with ministries and
individuals alike to help bringback the Church of Acts.
