It has been a New York minute since I did a new episode. This week, it is a bit off script. A lot has happened in the last week or so, and I have a lot of thoughts. Some things we’re not supposed to discuss and a lot of things we need to discuss. This is a bit of a rant, but I do have a few points to make. Indulge me with my first episode back.

It has been a hot minute since I released an episode. Here is an update as to what’s been going on during that time, some changes, and my mental health issues that have been taking over.

Introducing The Gen-Xer Pod. This is the other podcast that I do, which sole purpose is to prove that not all Generation X are idiots. This is designed to give context to the least spoken about generation. How the “live and let live” generation is being co-opted by anything that insults Trump is weak. Very much anti-generation x.

The conclusion of my two-part diatribe about the 2016 Presidential Election. After looking into this (again), I think I could make this a deep dive at a later point. Maybe get into it leading up to the 2024 election. Look into this as well as the 2020 election.

Lots of changes happened in the last week. I’ll explain them in the episode. The bulk of the episode is a “throwback”. Sort of. I originally recorded this episode back in 2021 and discussed what happened in the 2016 election. Part one will focus on what actually happened in the run-up to the election. Part two will delve into all the conspiracy theories about it.

I start off some of my standalone episode with about the voters. When you hear politicians saying that “voters are smart”, they don’t mean it. They feed on your ignorance to maintain their power. Especially if they are older than the Ten Commandments.

As the eclipse comes to an end, there was so much religious and conspiratorial nonsense leading up to it. This week, we get into some of the conspiracies and wonder where it comes from. This was a last minute add-on and next week we will return to our regularly scheduled episode.

The conclusion of our Modern GOP series with “Epilogue”. This is sort of an afterword about the Republican Party after the events of January 7. In 1992, President George HW Bush was denied a second term as president. It was mostly blamed on a charismatic billionaire that called himself a ‘maverick”. That billionaire was Ross Perot. Many rank and file Republicans turned on Bush due to his failure to keep his one campaign promise: “no new taxes.”
