Discipleship 103 - The Fruit of the Spirit

In Week 4 of Discipleship 103 we continued our series with a discussion on the "Fruit of the Spirit." This fruit (“product, result, gain, outcome, harvest) is the manifest evidence one may expect from a life in which the Spirit of God is living and reigning. These qualities are to be found in believers because of the change the Spirit of God has made in them. The word fruit indicates that the issue in this matter is not what man can do. A fruit is not something that is made or done. The ‘fruit of the Spirit’ are not human products but the result of God’s Spirit dwelling within men.

The singular - "fruit" of the Spirit, shows that the nine virtues mentioned are not different jewels, but are different facets of the same jewel.
