Tony Rinaudo is an Agronomist and a pioneer of Farmer Managed Natural Regeneration (FMNR). Tony spent almost two decades working with communities to reforest millions of hectares across African deserts, using FMNR and without planting a single tree!
FMNR is a simple, scalable, sustainable land management approach that empowers farmers to stop and reverse land degradation through regrowing trees on farmlands, on grazing lands, and in degraded forests – without requiring any external inputs or expensive equipment.
Tony continues to spread the power of FMNR around the globe and in this episode he tells us his story.
