Gun Control

In the wake of the Las Vegas shooting and because we like to tackle the tough topics, we decided to have an honest discussion about gun laws. We knew this episode wasn't going to contribute to changing laws or minds for that matter, but when it comes to the latter, you just never know.

So, we started with a little history on the 2nd Amendment and court decisions from the 1800s that most likely helped to solidify the gun laws of the US. One thing that we realized that was quite eye-opening is how vague the language of the 2nd Amendment is. Look it up, you may be surprised.

We moved into the arguments that always surface when something of this magnitude happens and the state of affairs in other countries such as Canada, Australia and China.

CJ touched on something called killology and of course we touched on the baby steps of solutions to a seemingly epidemic way for individuals to take themselves out via mass shootings.

People are tired of 'thoughts and prayers' which no longer carry the intention they once did.
